part 7 - geet tried to avoid him but ended up going his house. liked sam. how easily she got rid of him so that she can get some time with maan. omg...ronan kissed geet in front of maan. doesn't she made it clear that she was not interested in him. so he is also plying along to make maan jealous and was successful.

Geet's character is transparent like water. She did tried to avoid him but unfortunately (as for me its way too early n way too easy for Maan to have her back without him doing any effort) it wasnt the avoiding it should have been for.

She avoided him cos she wanted to give him that second chance. She is coming across an easy girl to me now. A guy leaves her for 9 years n waltz back in her life asking for a chance again n she is falling for it. Like seriously? Shouldnt she be making him run behind her now if he wants her back? She did that when she wanted his attention. Like Sam said, she had suddenly developed love for reading. So it meant she dint only changed her attire to impress him but also her interests so that she could spend time with him n get the chance to interact with him cos she genuinely wanted to know him. Her interest in him was clear. So its his time to show how much he genuinely wants her. Just by asking for a chance, is it really enough?

I also agree with her. Her running n avoiding him was a cowardly act. Cos she was simply scared that she would give in the moment she sees him.

But finally she decided something n goes to meet him after days of avoiding. I enjoyed the conversation they had in the house. Be it on how he caught that she lied n Sam dint despite prolly knowing her than Maan knows. But guess Maan understands her pretty too well. Or sees through her. Thats why when she ignored his comment, he too ignored her instead commenting on her looks.

About Ronan's sudden appearance n kissing Geet was a surprised indeed. But well, if I dint mind Maan kissing her at Alex house, I dont see anything wrong in Ronan's kiss. Just cos Maan is the hero doesnt mean everything he does is allowed or right. But yes, it depends on Geet whose kiss she welcomes. I'm sure she doesnt welcome Ronan kissing her. And may be that makes Ronan kiss wrong. But I enjoyed the look on Maan's face. He deserves that.

Good thing is Maan has got competition. Even if Ronan doesnt want to marry Geet now, his kissing Geet has surely made Maan jealous. And may be this realization, that if he doesnt even try then Ronan will take Geet away n he will be only watching. So I guess Maan should get into actions. High time he at least does something now. Warna Geet ko tata bye bye bolo.

Btw for how long Geet is back to her parents house? Isnt she working in Bangalore?

Loved the update n thoroughly enjoyed it. Your writing is fabulous. Hoping you arent cut short this story n end it. Would love to read more.

I agree on all accounts. Nine years is too long a time to be insignificant. I too, personally, cannot fathom such easy forgiveness. But Geet is too honest to hide away and too kind to give him the cut direct.

We humans have failings, great many of them. Good and Bad co-exist and it's a constant choice we make. I've personally been tempted to do a great many things which were not strictly right, but very easy to do. It was a choice not to succumb to the temptation. Not like Ronan kissed her for the first time. She rejected his marriage proposal, but they had been dating for years before that which included physical intimacy. Maan was a her first, not her only.
