I don't think I have ever in my life read such profound words as I have right here on this thread.Kitna kuch kehna hain. But words are impossible to express what I am feeling as I read Shikha's, almost challenge should I say?

I had so much I wanted to say after I read the OS. My first instinct was just like your's Avi. This OS was screaming for a reply,but my mind was too chaotic and I really had no words to convey what I felt after reading what was written.

And I ended up saying nothing.

She threw the gauntlet and it was screaming for a reply.

And Avi of all the people, you chose to pick it up. And then, you caressed the challenge, nurtured it, pampered it, soothed it and even the challenge did not know when it curled up and surrendered itself to all the love showered on it.

The deep insecurity of a young unmarried woman as she faces the cruel world that has taught her to focus on all the wrong things about herself. She is after all not to be blamed. After all racist products like fair and lovely( I want to kill the idiot who came up with that name😡), today's unrealistic and unhealthy obsession with size zero. These are just few of the problems that give rise to the insecurities.

And then there is the deep security of a well loved woman.

A husband who is a hero in his own right. He may not a six packed muscle ki dukan, but who wants a narcissistic self glorifying, preening peacock anyway.

Flying duppatas are a fire hazard and bloody impractical things if you ask me.

A loving man who doesn't go all overprotective and jealous on his wife coz he knows how much she values her freedom and is ultimately secure in her love for him.

He knows how to balance the two opposite alphabets, a.k.a the two opposite forces in his life.

The W and the M.😆

His Wife and his Mother.

To love at the beginning is not enough. To keep growing together and loving the person who emerges as the years pass by is more important.

I have so much more that I want to say, but let me stop here for now.

I will definitely come back and add some more thoughts here.
