Part 2

Geet and her family reached the Bazaar and it was not so big but was crowded, Geet and Rachi was bit revealed as Breej said he had some work and can't join them and if he can, then he will come and join them later, but he strictly said that they must be home before darkness, Breej not only an rule creator for the Village but also for her house, being the only boy, he claimed to be the next heir of her family, and Geet's Grand dad too had accepted it,

Geet had questioned Many times why only an boy should be an head and not the girl, but all the times she only had got scolding as her answer, Rachi was the only one who was so nervous as she was the one to make an cover up for Geet when she disappears, as they started roaming, Geet smiled big as she met her classmates there, Breathing in relief, Geet called them up, and an gang of four girls came up to her,

"Mama, Papa, these are my friends," Geet introduced them to her mom and dad, and they all wished up, "Maa, Papa, can I go with them and shop up, please," Geet asked, "Alone," Her mom asked in surprise, "No, I will take Rachi with me" Geet said, "yea, sure," Rachi signed while Geet pinched her up, "Aww, Geet di" she rubbed her skin, "Ok you both, come back soon, and you know where our ride is right, and don't go into the crowds, ok" Geet's mom warned up, "ok Maa, will be so careful and will wait near the ride before you guys come there, ok," Geet said,

Suddenly Geet felt that she had stepped on the air and before she could react, she tripped and fall on to water, and the cold water froze her up immediately, Geet started to shout freaking out, but she don't know who could hear her, and she felt her legs being pulled by the high current of the water and she was drowning up, Geet thought it's her end and closed her eyes tight, Geet felt the locket in her fist and she held it tight fearing that she might drop it down, she was trying her best to push up, but her strength was no match for the water's powers,

As Geet prayed for some magic, it happened; she felt a strong hands pulling her up from the water, Geet slowly felt warm and the sun shined on her face, Geet opened her eyes slightly to face her dreamy reality, the strong hands hold her was none other than Maan's, her eyes widen up more, and she was not sure, is she dreaming, "Geet, you are ok," Maan's voice pulled her from her thought and nodded an yes, Maan then carried her back, from the water, while Geet stare at him,

His strong hands where holding her strongly and it felt so familiar rather than strange, as if he was carrying her in his arms all day and night, he was shirtless and his bare skin was shining with water drops, Geet pulled back her vision as she felt suddenly shy and nervous, she can't see an guy like this, or she was thought not to, Geet turned her face away and she was breathing high, feeling her body twisting inside her with an new feeling making her hot but her wet clothes were making her feel cold outside, Geet was always allergic to chillness and cold,

Maan walked out of the water and put her down near his camp, "he camps up here, means he will be here daily" Geet thought, while Maan goes in and puts his dress on, Geet was feeling dizzy and was freezing up when the cold wind slightly touch her through her wet dress, still Geet managed to stand, Maan came out and looked at Geet, who was trying to cover her front with her hands as the dress was sticking to her skin and revealing her treasures to him, Geet's shyness was burning her up and she was struggling up trembling,

Maan understood it and turned around, "Can't you walk up to me, who asked you to dive into the water, and great, you don't know swimming, do you have any idea, what would have happened if I wasn't there, how stupid can you be Geet, won't you think at least once before you do something" Maan yelled out, "I am asking something" Maan shouted up as he didn't have any answer, Maan then turned around and freaked out to see Geet on the ground, "Geet" Maan screamed as he kneed down and held her face, close to his chest and tapped her cheeks slightly, "Geet, Geet, Geet, open your eyes" Maan freaked out, as his heart started to beat high in fear,

Maan went and took the water bottle from the tent and came and splashed the water on her face, "Geet" Maan freaked and decided to take her to her home, "May be she got freaked out as she fell from the heights into the water," Maan thought and picked her up in his arms and carried her to the jeep and made her to sit up and went and started his drive to her house, "God, don't know what Breej will reacted if I go with Geet, but no other go, I can't leave her like this, even if I take her to the doctor, that Handa's will knew that in no time and create a scene,"

Maan made himself strong, and went and stopped up before the big Handa Mansion, "Here goes nothing" Maan thought and went and pulled her from his jeep and walked up, suddenly he felt the people in and around the place was staring at him with their big eyes and wide mouth, "god why the hell are they staring at me like this" Maan thought, "I am carrying an unconscious girl in my hand, instead of coming and helping me, they are looking at me like an criminal," Maan thought as he walked up,

Maan saw an guy out the mansion gate running inside the mansion and thought that he had gone to bring the family out, "Maan, get ready for the drama" Maan thought to himself, Breej was the one who came out first like an storm, and he just hover on Maan and held his shirt, "How dare you" he shouted, Maan anger hit his brain as he eyed at Breej's hold, yet he tried to calm down, "Listen Breej" Maan started slowly between his teeth looking at Breej with his anger eyes, and Geet's family too came out and stood there shocked and frozen up seeing Geet messed up and wet,

"Oh Shut up, until today, no one, ever had the guts to even glance at our family's girls, and how dare you are holding her" Breej yelled out, "Are you stupid" Maan asked back his eyes burning in anger now, "she is unconscious, I can't bring her by magic" Maan said between his teeth, Breej jerked Maan away and it made Geet to slightly opened her eyes and the scene before her eyes made her to open her eyes soon, her whole family was staring at her in shock, Geet then looked up to see Maan holding her in his arms and Breej before him,

"Maan, drop me down, please" Geet's voice made Maan realize she was ok and he just dropped her down and Geet fall on the ground, and Stood up, slowly, Maan and Breej didn't even see her but was fighting with their big eyes, staring at each other, "Breej, enough, get her and come in," Breej's grandfather's voice came up, and Maan turned around but stopped by Geet's glance, "Geet" he started, "Maan, please go from here" Geet whispered slowly though her heart wanted him to stay, Maan looked at her eyes begging him to stay and her lips asking him to go, he stopped not knowing which one he should listen, her lips or her eyes, Maan then turned away though he had no heart to go away,

"Geet" Breej's voice hit Maan's ears as he turned up, "Veer ji" Geet's voice made Maan to turn around to see Breej dragging Geet away into the mansion and Maan really wanted to go and break his hands and pull Geet from his hold and take her with him, but on what right he will do that, it's her brother, Maan cursed for looking at it as his hands are tied up, and went away in anger,

Geet was dragged into the house and Breej pushed her on to the main hall, "What the hell is happening in my house, this girl made our whole family's pride drown in water", Breej screamed, Geet freaked out and her heart was beating slowly and heavily and felt it was turning heavy in fear, "This is why I told you no need to make her go to the school, just keep her shut down inside this house, now see," Breej shouted up, "Geet" Breej hover over her who was crying their silently

"Geet" Geet's mother came in with her homemade medicine, "What, still you have doubt on me," Geet roared, "should I burn myself to prove it" she said pained by the happening, "Why Maa, Why, why I had to prove that I am pure, don't you guys believe me, if my own family doesn't believe me, where will I go maa, where will I go" Geet shouted crying up, "Geet, baby, I believe you," her mother said, "then why did you stand by me, order Breej not to insult me openly" Geet shouted,

"What can we speak before Breej, you know right, we don't have such rights" Geet's mom said, and Geet felt irritated, "Geet, let me apply the medicine dear" Geet's mom said pulling her hand, and Geet pulled back her hand, "it's not paining, but my heart is paining," Geet shouted, "you have medicine for that, now leave me alone," Geet said and pushed her mom and Rachi out and locked the door behind them, and cried her heart out,

Maan reached home but his heart was beating high in anger, he can't stand still with the burning frustration, "will he hurt her" was his entire mind screamed, it was darkening up, Maan looked at the clock showing 10.00 and it's all he can wait, he jumped into his jeep, just then he saw the locket on the seat, and he took it up and Geet's face came before him and started his drive, he parked the jeep a bit away from the Handa Mansion and sneaked into the Mansion,

Maan went to the mango tree and climbed up and jumped into the Mansion balcony and walked to Geet's room, and sneaked into it, and he was lucky that the door was not locked, Maan went and looked at Geet, who face was sweating up, "I am pure, I am pure," Geet murmured and Maan looked puzzled, "Geet" Maan was above to touch her when he heard some noise and went and hide under the bed, "Look at my Baby" Geet's mom said crying up as she entered, "it's all because of you, I had warned you, don't pamper her much, now see" Geet's aunty complained,

Maan came out as they went away and locked the room door up and went near Geet and touched her forehead and it was burning like hell, "Geet" Maan try to wake her up, and Maan remembered Geet's aunt's words and looked at her hand, and his heart sunk in pain as he saw the fresh burn in her hand, "Geet, Geet" he slowly tapped her face, Geet try to wake up but can get only semi conscious, she can hear him slightly and also see him as an glare, as her eyes were too heavy to open up,

Geet signed up responding to Maan's voice, when Maan held her hand and feather touched her wound, "What kind of family is this," Maan thought as his anger raised up, "no heart in any body, how could they do this to her" Maan said hurt to hell and an tear from his eyes escaped and fall on her wound, surprising Maan himself, Maan then took the medicine and slowly applied on her wound, Geet signed as Maan put the medicine as it burnt up, Maan then slowly blow the heat off and applied the medicine slowly,

Maan then went and sat near her head and slightly pulled her up, making Geet sign more in pain, "Just a few minutes Geet" Maan said as he made her balance herself on his strong chest and took the milk glass and kept near her mouth, "Geet, it's not warm, nor too cold, I can't go and heat it up, so please drink it, it still has the warmth" Maan said even though he knew Geet can't understand anything now, still he said and kept the glass near her mouth and forced her to drink it slowly and Geet too obeyed,

Maan was slowly feeding her the milk as he knew she was drinking it in some sense and not aware of her act, Maan then made Geet lay back as she drank the milk, and Maan thought for a second and went inside her bathroom and bought some cold water in a cup and took his handkie and wet it up and kept it in her forehead, this is how mom used to do when I got sick, Maan thought and repeated his treatment all night, trying to keep her temperature down, and it seems working,

It turned morning when Geet opened her eyes, and she felt lot better, she looked around and saw her room door locked, Geet try to get up and thus she found the dry medicine in her hand, "Mama" Geet thought trying to remember, when did her mother kept the medicine and she try to hold her head and she found the half dry handkie in her head, Geet tried up and sat up on her bed, Handkie, she thought, "if Maa came and did this then why is the room is locked from Inside" Geet thought confused, Geet looked around confused and her eyes fell on the shining locket on the pillow nearby and an letter under it, Geet took the locket and the letter and read it up,

"Get well soon, And bring back my Locket," this was all it was written and Geet mind slowly remembered the slight memory she had that happened yesterday night, Geet's eyes opened up wide and she jumped from her bed and rushed towards her balcony and looked out, "Maan" she felt an sweet breeze rubbing her skin, "Baba ji, he came, he treated me, he was all night with me," Geet's thought made her shiver yet blush up, remembering his care for her, "Baba ji, he did everything and went away before I could see him or thank him, not fair Baba ji, you know, I just hate him" Geet said and smiled up big and rushed inside her room,
