Finally the day came when Geet would be meeting Meera n Sid. Her excitement was really adorable. It feels nice to have Geet so happy.
Office scene, it was good to read Geet having her fill by staring at Maan's handsome face, smiling to herself; completely lost in the moment. And this Maan just makes me fall for him more every time i read about him. He is so understanding and never questions her. In fact believes in giving her own space.
Though i want Maan to meet Geet's friend but yep meeting at airport definitely dint sound good. I wanted Geet to first tell them everything about Maan n then make them meet each other. Cos Maan does know how much important Meera-Sid are to Geet. But Meera-Sid hardly knows anything about him let alone that now Geet is in a relationship with him. It would really have been awkward situation had they met at airport. Both were already so stunned seeing Geet in BMW with a driver and then the penthouse thing, everything related to her boss only. So having Maan himself in front of them would have been a complete shock to them and they couldnt have been able to digest so many things at a time just right after their arrival. So it was a right decision made by Geet that they meet him after knowing at least something about him. And loved having the old Geet back, naughty and bubbly. Sid-Meera are in for some more stunning moments.
And i have a confession to make. When Maan last time said that his story doesnt had a happy ending, i thought i would be related to some girl; yeah i know so typical of me. Cos i somewhere still have a hard time thinking that he never fell in love before or was never in a relationships (may be cos i m too habitual of reading Maan having a past relating to a girl always in Maaneet fics). And also knowing how gem of a person he is n of course his killer looks, which is a perfect combination of a dream man; i thought he would be having girls after him. And so he might have been in few relationships before which failed. But m really like really surprised knowing that here 'having-no-happy-ending' to his story meant something about his love for painting. I really felt terrible after knowing the sacrifices he made for his own family n for the employees of his company so that they couldnt be jobless. He truly is a sweetheart. I really wonder why he keeps saying Geet doesnt deserve him? In what fears n insecurities is he living his life? I know there is much more to his past n this was just an insight. But somewhere i m also glad that finally he opened up a bit about himself to Geet again. I guess this would be second time he discussed about himself n his family. And i really loved reading about Maan's life as much i do when i read about Geet.
I have a question though, now that Geet has accepted her own feelings n is in a relationship with Maan; does that means she wont be writing in diary now? Or say talk to Armaan? I know she has finally let go off her past n has accepted her present/Maan. I still somewhere had thought that may be for the last time, she would be telling him through her diary that she has accepted her feelings for Maan, or something like she doesnt regret having Maan in her life, or that she has decided to move on. I m not expecting her to forget Armaan cos i know its not possible and i dont want that too, he will always have a special place in her heart. But shouldnt she be having a final closure to her virtual world of Armaan? Just a thought.
About the update, I really loved the it and just cant wait to have some BFFs moments. And are we to also expect Meera-Pari confrontation? Super excited for the next update.
