PART 7. A CHANCE???

The scene before her not only angered her but also pained her. Her love, her life was hanging in a semi conscious position on his two most stupid friends. Geet shot glares at Adi & Rahul who return gave her sorry smiles. She was going to shout on them when Maan looked up at her giving her a goofy smile saying "gggeeetttuuu... my geetu" . By saying this he came forward to hug her while Adi & Rahul struggled to keep in his place.

Geet looked back at him in pain. Was this the same Maan who never touched alcohol because she didn't like it. Was this the same Maan??? Who is this person in front of her?? This wasn't the person whom she fell in love with. She looked away to control her emotions. Adi & Rahul looked at each other in panic. They had no idea what the hell they were dong or what the hell was going to happen. Rahul motioned Adi to say something while Adi glared back at him.

Adi looked back at Geet giving an apologetic smile saying "who...geet." Geet raised her hand to stop him speaking anything. Her eyes were still focused on Maan. She gathered herself saying "andar lao ise" Adi & Rahul breathed in relief & brought him towards the couch & settled him there. While Geet was standing there with a burning pain in her heart. Adi looked back at Geet & noticed her staring back at Maan. Her eyes were teary. He too looked back at Maan who was still giving goofy smile to everyone. He coughed to gain Geet's attention. Geet gulped the lump formed in her throat & looked back at Adi.

Adi"who geet, we are really sorry. Maan ne itni pee hui rakhi thi aur zid kar raha tha tumhare pass ane k lia. Believe us humne bohut try kia use hotel wapas le janeko. Par we couldn't control him. Aur who..."

Geet nooded her head in yes. Who else can know how much Maan can be stubern that too in his senses. But now, she can't even imagine. Then she frowned in confution thinking something saying "tum logo ko mera address kaise mila...???"

Rahul smiled sheepishly saying " isiko pata tha... usini direction dia humko.."

Geet looked back at him in shock. She thought in her mind "how much I have to tolerate.. babaji...help me..."

Suddenly their conversation was broken by a giggling sound. All 3 of them looked back at the source only to find Maan laughing in weird way.

Adi held him to stop him from falling from the couch. He slapped him lightly "pls Maan hosh me ao... dekh tere kehne par hum tujhe Geet k pass bhi le ay... ab to wapas chal..."

Maan looked back at him innocently saying "hum geetu k pass aa gaye... geetu meri geetu kaha hay...??"

Geet stood there rooted at the spot while Maan gave her a dazzling smile saying "geetu, meri gettu, I luv u shona. Main tmhe chor k khabi nehi jayunga." Saying this he tried to get up from the couch but fell back while Adi helped him.

Rahul creased his temple in worry saying "ab kya kare, yeh to yaha se jane se raha.."

Geet slumped her shoulder in defeat saying " tum log ise yehi chor do. Kal subha khud wapas chala jayega. Ager ise hos aye to" She said the last sentence gritting her teeth while glaring a Maan who in return gave her puppy look that says "meri kya galti..??"

Rahul shook her head in denial saying " nehi geet. Iski halat bohot kharab hai. You can't handle him. Hum try karte hai ise le jane ko.."

Geet gave him a sharp look saying "agar tum log ise sambhal pate then he wouldn't be here. Agar is halat use koi sambhal payega to who main so. Yeh yehi rahega.So tum loga jao. Bohut raat ho gayi hai. And I would have told u both to stay. Par yaha utna space nehi hai.."

Rahul looked back at Adi who shrugged his shoulders. Both of them knew that what Geet was saying was true. They can never control Maan. No one in the world except the girl standing in front of them.

Adi left Maan in a comfortable position & stood up. He went & stood beside Rahul saying " thik hay Geet, hum Maan ko yehi chor jate hai. Par koi bhi problem ho to hum eek call dena pls. "

Geet nodded her head & started moving towards the door. Rahul was out of there & Adi was about to move outside when he looked back at Geet saying " geet who.. I don't know mujhe yeh kehne ka haq hay ya nehi phir bhi I think kuch batein kehna responsibility hain. I don't know k tum dono k beech kya hua, kiski kya galti hai. But is sab ki waja se tum dono ko bohot dard ho raha hain. Koi bhi khush nahi hai. "

Geet held back her tears looking downwards while Adi continued " Geet agar Maan mera best friend hai phir I have considered you as my sister. Main tum dono ko aise nehi dekh sakta. agar ho sake to jo hua use bhul jao.. please"

Geet looked back at him tears flowing from her eyes . Adi wiped her tears saying " bas think over it once. Take care ok??"

Geet nodded her head in yes & bid him bye. She shut the door thinking " kya main sab kuch bhul sakti hu..??" she shook her head to get out the thoughts & looked back at Maan to find him sleeping. it was not the time to think about this. She needs to take care of him even if for only one night.She sighed & went towards her room. She cam back with a blanket & put it over him. He was looking so beautiful sleeping peacefully. Geet looked away unable to control her heart.

She knew it a wake-up night for her. She started to walk towards the kitchen when she felt o pull on her wrist & she was on him in less than one seconds. She gripped his shoulders in fear & shut her eyes. suddenly she felt slow air strokes on her face. She opened her eyes slowly only to find Maan staring at her lovingly. Maan kissed her forehead saying huskily "mishty..." While Geet looked back at him with a small smile.

wonderful part dear... adi ne sahi kaha ki dono hi ek dusre se dour hokar kush nahi hain...hope maan will talk with her about all the past MU and they may heel eachother...

nice part. Geet let Maan stay. hopefully they will have a talk and clear their mu.
