She came down nd met Dadima , took her blessings ,, Dadima called her driver nd instructed him to take Geet ,, Geet reached there on time nd saw that there wr 10-15 candidates for d interview ,, all wr dressed up very smartly nd girls candidates wr in jeans , trousers nd knee length pencil skirts with high heel ,, Geet felt disappointment bcoz she was d only who was in Indian outfit or in a suit ,, feeling very nervous looking those very smart ppl , she sat in d last chair of waiting area .
Candidates went nd coming out turn by turn,, there wr only 3-4 in d waiting hall,, d recp called Geet's name nd she skipped many beats in fear,, she nervously got up nd went in remembering her Babaji ,, took permission nd entered ,, wished softly ,, there wr 2 person in d room ,, a quiet matured lady nd a young man of Maan's age.
They gestured her to take seat nd Geet settled down after thanking then politely ,, both d person noticed that this girl was not showing any extra smartness to impress like other nd feeling nervous ,, d man sharply observed her in a go from top to toe nd then looked at her resume ,, he got that face lil familiar .
Man: so mrs Geet Singh u r from defence back ground ?
Geet: yes sir,
Man: but u got ur education from a local school of HP( Punjab) not from any APS 0r KV.
Geet : yes , after my parents demises i lived there with my relatives nd got my rest of edu there.
Lady: how old u wr that time?
Geet: i was in 9th std .
Lady : oh , i'm so sorry .
Man: did u spend any time in camp area?
Geet: yes , i did.

Geet was in ease now nd replied: it suit to my subjects nd time .
Lady: r u sure u cd handle d students who wr almost near ur age? U didn't have any experience nd i think u r facing ur 1st interview?
Geet: yes, u r right but there is always a 1st time for everything.
Man: OK mrs Geet Singh ,, we have ur academic records nd inform u within next two days.
He returned her folder of her original documents with a smile ,, Geet too got up wishing them GD nd came out disappointed ,, she was not satisfied with d interview nd she was sure that she won't get d job ,, there wr many efficient nd smart ppl for d job ,, Maan's words hit her mind ... she was not fit for d KC office * Geet smiled weakly nd said inwardly ,, yes , i'm not fit for any job in this big city ,, she sighed nd sat in d car to go back home .
Dadima asked about d interview nd she replied sadly that she didn't have any hope bcoz there wr many ppl who wr much qualified than her , , Dadima asked about d institute nd Geet replied that it's a franchised branch of a well known education institute who had their branches in worldwide ,, they gave coaching for competitive exams * they talked on some more random topics nd then Geet retired to her room ,, 1st she was feeling low seeing very smart and capable ppl as compare to her , 2nd d personal questions about her past refreshed her childhood memories ,, rest of d day she was feeling nostalgic nd remained in her room .
One day passed nd Geet started to search for other vacancies suitable for her ,, at eve she opened her mailbox to check any mail from MBA college regarding admission process nd got a mail from d The P******* R****** institute ,, she curiously opened that nd there was a call letter to join them from next week ,, she was shocked nd couldn't believe that ,, she read that again nd gasped ,, she was so much happy to get her 1st job ,, she twirled nd danced in happiness ,,then she went to Dadima nd informed about her call letter ,, Dadima blessed her nd congratulated her ,, Dadima was happy that now Geet won't feel bore .
