Geet constantly sent silent prayers as she she saw the dejected faces leaving the boss' cabin.It was Geet's turn now.She got up and walked in Maan's cabin.He was busy giving instructions to someone,"I want the file right now.If you can't give it now then you're fired". Adi was standing quitely.Geet gulped."Babaji this man is next to devil.Please help me get this job".She closed her eyes and prayed fervently oblivious that Maan eyes were on her now."Will you stand there or come here and take your seat?" His query broke her trance.She nodded and hurriedly went to take her seat. Adi chuckled but stopped when Maan glared at hime.
"So why did you decide to take up this job Miss_?"
"Geet Sir Geet" she replied. "Okay so answer me Miss Geet".
"Sir actually I...I just wanted to do something so..."
Maan gave a snorted and said,"My God! you have come for a job interview and you don't know why you have come here?" Geet felt embarrassed and chided herself for such a foolish answer.
Maan's expression changed."What is your qualification?"asked Maan in a stern voice. Geet replied,"I have studied till class 12 Sir".Maan was stunned.He looked sharply at her.Adi muttered,"Oh no,the volcano is about to burst" and it did.He shouted,"Adi!din't you check her CV before letting her enter". "How will I...did let me go out".replied Adi in his mind."Bu..but Si...sir" before he could speak Geet cut in."Oh hello,why are you shouting at him.If you are angry please speak to me directly.I am present here".Adi looked at her with gratitude.She continued,"Moreover,he was here when I came.How will he see my CV when he was here the whole time!"
Maan thought,she is right.But as his ego never let him admit his fault he now charged Geet,"So you think passing class 12 is all you need to get a secretary's job in such a well-known company?In no way will you get this job.Get out of my office.Now".
Geet was furious now.How dare he insult people like this."Yes I am going.Even I don't have any interest to work under a boss who is next to devil,no, devil himself".She tossed her head and left the cabin.Maan was speechless.
"Adi did you hear what she said?" he asked."Yes Sir.She called you a devil". Maan shot a glare at hime."So..sorry sir".No one had ever dared to say such a word to Maan Singh Khurana.This lady has guts,thought Maan.
