PART 4. DHOOM DHADAKKA MAAN STYLE! PART II

Maan Singh Khurana was a genuinely impatient man. He had no patience for loitering employees who prefer to chatter around rather than do their work on time and he had no interest in waiting patiently for Daadima who made him wait outside a temple while she chatted with her old lady friend. Every time he was told to wait, his anger would flare up and the poor person in front of him, generally a hapless employee, would be the target for his anger.

But today, for the first time, Maan was ready to wait and not just wait but wait for eternity. Suddenly, and he did not know how, he found himself being patient. And the reason behind his patience you ask? Who else but our sweet and simple Geet.

Now why was Maan waiting? And what for? Well... he was waiting for Geet Handa to turn so that he could crash into her. Yes! You read it right! Now before you get confused, let me explain. You see, right after their last crash Maan decided to follow Geet so that he would be able to crash into her and fight with her as much as possible. As you know, if you read the last chapter, he wanted to do that because he found Geet very sexy when she was angry. Back to the story, even though Maan followed Geet wherever she went he was getting no chance to crash into her. But unlike normal times, when Maan would get angry and impatient when things did not go his way, this time he was totally ready to wait till eternity to crash and fight with his Geet.

But Maan was lucky as very soon he got the right opportunity to crash into and fight with Geet Handa. The marriage rituals of Dev and Naintara started and Geet gathered along with the people to watch it happening. If Geet hadn't been there Maan would have done the same thing; watch his younger brother's wedding happen. But with Geet there, why would he want to watch a marriage ritual? Who wants to stare at their brother when they have a beautiful girl standing in front of them? Hence, Maan Singh Khurana happily stared at Geet Handa standing in front of him while he waited patiently, very patiently for her to turn so that they could crash and fight.

Soon Maan's patience was rewarded as Geet turned around right when Saptapadi was about to start and came face to face with him. Maan looked at her almost disappointedly; ek baar crash kar jaati toh kya jaata tumhaara?

"Hatiye baaju!", Geet demanded.

"Kya? Main kyun hatun?", Maan glared at her but inside Maan's heart jumped in excitement. We are fighting! YESSS!

Geet glared at him, "Dekhiye! Mujhe ghussa mat dilaaye! Hatiye yahaan se!"

Maan smirked at her and folded his hands against his chest, "Nahi hatunga! Kya karlogi?" Oh! How much I am enjoying this!

Geet's eyes narrowed, "Dekhiye! Mujhe ghussa mat dilaaye! Main ghusse mein kuch bhi kar deti hoon!"

Maan looked at her amusedly, "Achcha?"

Geet nodded.

What Maan next said shocked not only the readers and Geet but also Maan himself.

"Kya karogi? Mujhe maarogi, peetogi ya kiss karogi?" Kya? Yeh main kya keh raha hoon? Kiss? Yeh mujhe ho kya gaya hai? Yeh main use kiss karne ke baare mein kyun soch raha hoon? His eyes zeroed in on her lips for a second and his mind got lost into how it would feel to kiss her. Suddenly, he came out of his dreamland. Yeh main kya kya sochne laga hoon? Is ladki ne toh mujhe paagal kar diya hai!

Suddenly, it struck Maan the enormity of what all out of character things he had done in these few days and he took a sharp breath. He had stalked a girl, fought with her at every turn and now was thinking about kissing her. By then, Geet had turned towards the mandap. Maan looked at Geet in horror. Tumne yeh kya kar diya Geet? Mujhe paagalon jaisi harqat karne mein majboor kar diya! Nahi! Aur nahi! The horror fled from his face and its place came determination. Bas bahut ho chuka! Mujhe apne aapko tumse door karna hi hoga! Bas hogaya yeh tamasha! Maan Singh Khurana won't let a silly girl like you affect him so much!

Maan was about to walk away from Geet when Geet turned around and glared at him, "Aapne meri Saat Phere miss karwa diye! Shaadi ki meri favorite part aapne miss karwaa di! Jab hat ne ko bola tab hate kyun nahi?"

Maan's mouth seemed to have acquired its own brain as even after Maan deciding to get away from the girl, his mouth could not resist from taunting Geet, "Tumne please nahi bola isiliye!"

"Kya?"

Maan walked away from there with a smirk on his face but in his mind there was only one chant; he had to stay away from Geet Handa!

Now you know why after the saptapadi scene in Dh Dh,

Maan and Geet did not crash into each other again!

Next chapter will the final scene of Dh Dh where Maan consoles Geet

but with Maan's inner thoughts and reasoning!
