I don't think Maan is a Janwar and ruthless in any way in the story, all he do make her kive her life, its only after his entry in her life she came to know who are her's in real, and who were using her, and what place she holds in their life.

I strongly feel that he loves her, as he has always devoid of any emotions he is unaware of it and saying it at his lust to have her.

Well Geet, she has prejudged him and she believed what it was shown to her without thinking anything and reacted and did things without knowing and understanding things, all she want is to make him lose, and she is battling within herself to overcome the thought that she being used by everyone for their own utter motive.

And still she is doing the same !!!
