Geet looked at her painfully and replied : nahi Dadima , Maan ne kaffi saza de di hei usse mujhe aur kuch nahi kerna hei ,,, mujhe koi attention ya gossip nahi chahiye apne liye .

Dadima: hum bhiyahi chahate hei beta lekin hum chup bhi nahi rahenge ,, there r many ways to teach him a lesson .

Geet: it's OK Dadima ,, Maan ne bahot maara hei usse ,, ye to jaan se maar daltey usse ,, bas ab aur nahi .

Maan: tum uski jyada fikar matt kero Geet apni karo ,, tumhara per to theek hei na ,, nahi to Dr ke pass chaltey hei .

Geet: nahi , theek hei , Dr ki jaroorat nahi hei .

Maan: Ok , Manish aa raha hei files leker ,, ab tumne office jaane se roka hei to help ke liye ready ho jao aur study room mei aao ,, tum dono ki baatey hi khatam nahi hoti .(he tried to change d topic and tease her and Dadima)

Dadima rolled her eyes and made a face: itni mushkil se to koi baat kerne wala mila hei iss buddhi ko ghar mei ,, wo bhi tumse bardast nahi ,, le chale usse kam kerwane .

Geet: theek hi to roka hei ,,, essi halat se jate office ,, Dadima dekho na haathon ki haalat ,, aur aap tension matt lo mai jaldi se aa jaungi kam finish kerke ,, bina salary kaun jyada kam kerega? Etni bhi sasti nahi hei Geet . ( she made face at Maan who passed a smile and got up )

Dadima: OK Geet beta , tab tak hum bhi apne kuch kam dekh lete hei .

Geet and Maan settled in his study and Dadima went in her room and called Arjun * she informed him about d last night incident * he was hell shocked and said why they didn't inform to him that time but Dadima replied that Geet didn't want to create any scene in that happy occasion of his marriage and that was insulting for her too that's why we came back home * Geet didn't want to become a topic of gossip * they talked for long , Arjun was very sad and ashamed and he was feeling very bad for Geet who faced this humiliation bcoz of his friend with whom he has his business relation too * he apologized for all that and told her that he and his family would come to say sorry to GS.

Dadima intentionally told everything to Arjun coz she wanted to realize them and to make Geet free from their debt * if they did a lot for her then she also paid for that in diff way.

Maan , Geet and Manish wr working in study * Manish handed a file to Maan to review and asked .

Manish-a: sir when we r going to launch this monorail project ?

Maan: Manisha in this week we wd complete d blue print of d starting part and then next week we could launch this project * we have to finalized many things with sub contractors before that.

Manish-a: yes it's a big project and we needed new staff and employees for this .

Maan: hmmm ..

Geet was listening all their talk ,, she too wanted to work on this project , KC needed staff and she needed a good job but she was very reluctant to ask * she finished her work and came out in lawn * her sem was going to start after 2 week but nothing was decided about her * coz of this plastered leg she lost her one month and couldn't try for another work even she didn't ask to Arjun and after this incident she was in a fix to ask him or not ?

Manish left from there and it was lunch time * Maan came out and find Geet near pool ,, sitting on d pool chair ,,, lost in her thoughts * he has a folder in his hand and came close to her * he took a long breath and sat near her ,, he coughed lightly to get her attention * Geet looked at him and passed weak smile * she saw d file in his hand and thought that maybe he needs some help.

Geet: kuch kam hei ?

Maan: hmmm .

Geet: haan bolo .

Maan: Geet , i'm going to request u for a favour ,,, plzz don't take it other way ,, i want it by heart and i come to u with a positive hope ,, plz accept ker lena .

Geet looked at him confused : what do u want ?

Maan: Geet please read this . ( he forwarded d file to her)

Geet took that and opened that and started to read * that was a contract and KC was offering her a job for their new venture with a healthy package and perks * she looked at him shocked and confused ,, why he was giving her this job ?

Maan: plzz Geet don't refuse it .

Geet: but why me ? u cd get many experienced ppl for this and this responsibility is big and i'm less qualified * Maan i can't work whole day ,,, u know my 2nd sem is going to start * i'm not suitable for this job .

Maan: read it carefully ,, Geet in start u have to work on plans and drawings in office bcoz in starting there is only construction works and after few months ur field work will start * Arjun's co is doing that work so it'll be helpful for u * ur Uni is very near from here ,, hardly 1 hr journey and then from there u can go on work * this dept is separate and have few staff who deals with Arjun's work * u can opt work from home in ur exam time .

Geet tum Arjun ki co mei bhi kam kerti to kya fark tha ,, wo bhi to KC project se related tha ab direct hei * last one month se tum Arjun ki co mei bhi nahi ho, to usse bhi koi objection nahi hei * i had informed him and he is happy with this .

Geet: lekin ye favour ku ,, tum aur Dadima ne pahale hi kafi kuch ker diya hei ,, mai kaise ...

Maan: mai koi favour nahi ker raha hun Geet ,, meri request maanker tum mujhe favour ker rahi ho ,, plzz . Geet u need job and i need staff so what's wrong in this and u know very well we won't let u go away from here .

Geet: but Maan , how can i live here ,, it doesn't look nice .

Maan: Geet u r Dad's friends daughter at least for them u can stay here with Dadima ,, if u have prob with me , i'll leave.

Geet: tum pagal ho kya ? mere liye tum apna ghar ku chodoge ? I can live near by .

Maan: no ,,, plzz ,, if u have prob here then u can use KV's outhouse for u , is that OK for u ?

Geet: lekin...

Maan: bas ,, final ,, sign d contract Geet ,,, hmmm.

Geet looked at him and he forwarded a pen to sign d papers * she took that saying...

Geet: ye per theek hone per mai outhouse mei rahungi ghar me nehi .

Maan: done , and thanks a lot .

She sign d papers and handed him * she can't over look his efforts which he was doing for her * he beamed and congrats her then both came in d dining hall * Maan showed d contract to Dadima and told her to sign bcoz Geet was appointed by her * Dadima was co-owner of KC and had authority to take decision regarding KC * she sign and hugged Geet and thanked her for accepting d job in KC .

Dadima: i'm so happy for u beta ,, today my late children's souls will get some peace .

She showered her love on both with wet eyes and went to temple room to thank God ordering Nakul to bring sweet to eat.
