Geet was walking back with Maan to the car. He was holding her hands firmly, not to let go of it, ever. She was happy. She was feeling content. She's not felt like this for a long time. As if she truly had that special someone now. Like all girls, she also thought about that special person who was going to be in her life one day. When she learnt about her sickness and started accommodating to that, she had lost hope. Today, Maan convinced her that that she can definitely have a normal life with him. She smiled and looked towards the sea. She felt free today.

"I always love it when you smile Geet. Keep it on your face forever."

Geet gave him a wider smile. Then she frowned. "When my two teeth were missing when I was 9, you and Veer had said I looked like a witch. You said I should not smile until my teeth return back!"

"You still remember this geet. By the way it was Veer who had started it. I was just there." Maan said.

"Ok. I forgive you." Geet said.

Maan smiled. I didn't even say sorry geet.

"Geet, you said something when we were talking before. Something which will hurt Veer deeply if he knows it." Maan said looking in front of him

Geet looked at him seriously. "What did I say to hurt him?"

"You said that you were a burden on him." maan replied.

"I...I know that I'm not...a burden...but"

"You have to think about this geet. I wont say anything to you. Just one thing you should be aware of. When you were eight and your dad passed away, Veer had just turned 18. I was there and I saw what he did so that you were not sent into foster. He fought with everyone to keep you geet. if you think you are a burden, you have to think twice." Maan said. "Lets go now. They will be waiting for us."

Geet didn't say anything and started walking with him.

The next day everyone met at the headquarters. All the team members were present. Veer had dropped geet to college and he and Aashi had arrived at the headquarters before everyone. The man who they had was still in the room and this time Varun had made sure that he would not dare try to do something. They all met in the meeting room.

Captain Ram started the meeting "The girls are going to be shipped in two days. So tomorrow we have to get them out of that warehouse. Varun, you have the satellite image on your screen. I already saw the operation and how you devised it. it should work. Explain it to everyone."

"Yes sir" Varun replied. He put on the projector and everyone was focused on that. "This is the back entrance. They have 4 guards placed over here. They carry Ak 47 each of them. Meera and Dev you guys are going to take them down. You can do that. it will be 4 sniper shots and no one will know about it until a few minutes later. Aashi, the security cameras should be turned off just 17 minutes before we all enter. As we get into the warehouse, we'll take down the other guards with us on the way. From there, we improvise. I've studied the images and my best bet is that the girls are in this part of the warehouse. Maan and Yash will focus on getting them out, and I will fix the explosives and get out as soon as I can. Is that correct? For the next few hours, they discussed about the operation and everyone had it clear in their minds what they had to do. When they were done, everyone went into the kitchen.

Veer took his coffee and sat besides maan. "So, it seems like you talked to her yesterday. She looked fine and happy since we got back home from the beach."

"Yes I did. She's prepared to give us a chance Veer." maan said

"I'm glad. I just want her happy Maan. you'll have to take care of her. You've met Sahil and by now, you should know what you are getting into. Geet is different. Things will be different with her" Veer said looking at maan to make him understand in what ways geet was different. He is a guy too, and he had to make sure that maan really knew what he was getting into.

"I know Veer. We've talked about it. One thing you should understand is that I'm no longer the guy 5 years back in college. I'm a man now. My previous relationships were for one reason, and my relationship with geet is something else."

"I know Maan. I'm a guy too. But I have to make sure. Geet is my sister."

Maan nodded. Then he remembered. did you talk to geet about her crying and telling you to not leave her?"

"Not yet Maan. I didn't have time yesterday. Aashi was with us." Veer said.

"Of course. You didn't even step out of the room I guess." Maan said with sarcasm.

Veer chuckled and pat him on the back"Your sister is my girlfriend now. Get it in your head brother!" Veer replied

Maan stared at him with an amusing look. "Since the past the three years, you did your best to keep geet as far as you could from me. And when I'm not here, you fall in love with my sister. How about that?"

"There's a difference maan. Aashi is 25. Geet is only 22. She's still a baby. My baby!!"

with that, he walked off to get another cup of coffee.

Geet was waiting for Veer to pick her up. She was feeling tired today. She needed some rest. But she needed to talk to Veer too. They had not spoken at all about her outburst that other day. Few minutes later, Veer arrived. She got into the car.

"How was your day baccha?" he smiled at her

"It was good. I was working on my design the whole day. I got some feedbacks from my professor. I guess it is good." Geet said

"Great. You have to submit that soon. Once you are done with that. I think everyone will need a break. So I was thinking we might go spend like 3 days in dad's bungalow." Veer suggested.

"Yup, that's a good idea. It's been long since we've been there."

After dinner, geet sat in front of the TV. Veer was doing the dishes. She had helped him clear the table and put all the food in the fridge. He told her that the team had a job the next day. She didn't ask further coz he was not going to tell her. She had given up hope about him sharing about his job. But she always prayed that no harm came upon him and anyone else on the team. What they did was risky.

Veer and Geet watched the news together. Geet was quiet. Veer was a having a headache. He was continuously rubbing his forehead. After a while, he told geet that he was going to bed.

When he left, geet was disappointed. She still wanted to talk with her brother. She went into the kitchen and got some oil. Then he went into Veer's room. He was on his bed shirtless. "What happened geet? You need anything?"

Geet got onto the bed and showed him the bottle of oil. Veer just shook his head and lied down again. She started massaging his forehead. He remembered how geet used to do the same thing when she was small.

She was just 10 years old. He had just gotten his acceptance from the army and he didn't know whether he should go forward with it. He was lying on his bed when geet had come with oil in her hands. She had sat on his stomach and had massaged his head with her small fingers. After that, she had patted his head hoping to make him fall asleep. He had pretended to sleep after a while so that she could stop. She was hell bent on making him sleep just the way he used to make her sleep. After that, she had kissed his forehead and had fallen asleep besides him. He smiled remembering her childhood.

Geet looked at her brother. His eyes were closed and he was smiling. she poked him on his muscles and Veer opened his eyes and looked at her. "Why are you smiling?" geet asked.

Veer's smile widened and he said. "I was wondering that you are too big to sit on my stomach now." geet returned his smile. "You grew up so fast Geet." He put her hair behind her ears and continued looking into her eyes. "So fast that, you've learnt how to talk about big things now."

Geet smiled awkwardly at him. She knew what he was referring to. Then veer took her hands away and sat up. "It's ok. You can stop. I'm feeling better." Veer knew she wanted to talk. "Sleep over here today. Go get your blanket from your room."

Geet nodded and went to get her blanket. When she came back, Veer had slipped on his shirt. She set her side of the bed and veer tucked her in.

Then he went on his side and crossed his arms behind his head lying on the bed. "Why did you cry the other day geet? Why did you think that I was going to leave you?" He asked.

"I'm sorry." Geet replied.

Veer glanced at her. She was looking at him intently waiting for an answer. He bent down resting on his elbow and placed his lips on her forehead. He closed his eyes and murmured. "You don't have to say sorry baby." Then he lied back on the bed and extended his arms. Geet put her head on his arms. Looking upward he started talking "You think you're a burden on me? How did that come into your mind? ...You're my life baccha. I cannot even imagine not having you...When mom died, you were the only thing that was left of her to which I could hold on to."

Geet moved and rested her head on his shoulders. "She died because of me Veer. if she had chosen not to have me, she'd still be here today. I know everything."

Veer shook his head in denial. "That's what dad's family used to say. Dad left them and moved out just because he didn't believe the things they said. They were stupid. Mom was not very well geet. Just like you. "

"Even dad didn't love me Veer. He always avoided me. It was only you who was there." Geet said.

Veer looked at her and saw that she was on the verge of crying. He started stroking her hair. "No geet. You don't know. Dad loved you a lot. He was just too lonely. He loved mom so much and then he lost her. He was wrong. He made you feel like he didn't love you. But he always made sure that you were all right and had everything. He knew that you had me. You were just eight when he passed away. You wouldn't understand this at that time."

Geet rose up and kissed his cheek. "Thank you for being there for me!"

Veer wiped her tears. "I will always be there for you baccha. Always."

They rested together for a while in silence. Veer had known his parents and he had lost them at a young age. He was sad about that, but he had his own memories. But he knew what geet goes through. She hadn't known their mother. She does not have any memories. As for their dad, he really did avoid her when she was small. When she was a kid, she always begged him to tell her stories about her mom and dad. That's the reason why he was so protective towards her. After her nanny had left when she started going to elementary school, he was just 15. Since then he had taken care of her. Her studies, her food, when she was sick, he did everything. Today she was 22. He had come a long way across. She is a grown woman now. But as he told maan, for him she was still his kid.

He looked down and realized that she had fallen asleep. He knew she was tired. He put her on her side, tucked her in and kissed her forehead. "Good night baccha." He said before turning on his side and slept.

Varun was driving one van and Dev was driving the other one. Captain Ram was going on about the plan again. They finally reached the location. They parked the vans at a walking distance from the warehouse. They didn't know what condition those girls were in and whether they would be able to walk back there. Their escape would have to be as quick as possible as soon as they get hold of them.

They were walking towards the warehouse. Aashi was going to remain in the Van to work on her computer and indicate every one of their positions. Varun knew she was safe there. It was far from danger.

While they were walking Varun caught up with Meera. He knew she was the best sniper. Maybe better than him. But she was hurt. He was worried. He didn't want her to have to confront anyone.

"Meera, how is your arm? Are you sure you want to..."

"You don't need to doubt my abilities Varun...I will be able to handle it." Meera said cutting him off.

Varun grabbed her arm and pulled her on his chest. He looked at her and said in an angry tone. "I don't doubt your abilities. I'm worried about you. Make sure you don't hurt yourself, understood?"

Meera nodded and released her hands from his grip and walked forward. She didn't want anyone to care about her like that. Especially not Varun.
