I don't think the story is at all going through a slow phase. The initial parts of the story is what hooked us up to the wonderful characters.

Your writing and the synopsis that you give with each part is like putting each update in an album. That album tells the whole story beautifully.

Stay positive and do what you wanted to in the first place.

That way you will be happy and you know I am speaking from experience.😃
