Part 17

V- Day SPL

The morning sun shined on the Khurana Mansion and Maan got up and got ready, Maan was feeling so uncomfortable to go to the office, after knowing Geet loves him, his emotions for her was so much increased and it scared him, he might not stop himself from showing it off to her, Maan needed time, and so called Adi, "Good morning sir," Adi's voice was bright, "Good morning, Adi, today I will not be coming to the office, so you take care," Maan said and cut the call,

Adi was confused, yet he said an ok, Geet was feeling nervous to go to the office, thought of taking leave, but she knew that Breej is watching her and he would start asking questions, Geet took a deep breath and made up her mind and went away to the office, when she went up, she saw Adi and Pinky in the reception,

"Good morning," Geet wished and Pinky smiled bright and so as Adi, Adi wished them and went away and Pinky was smiling bright, "what's the matter Pinky, you are looking so happy," Geet asked, "O, Adi sir, Gifted me this, Valentine's day gift," Pinky said as she gave a small box to Geet, Geet too got it and opened it up, and there were two cute earrings, "wow, Pinky it's so beautiful, so you guys are serious about your relationship ah,"

"Yes Of course, why Geet," Pinky asked, "No, never saw Adi sir saying or doing something different or special for you, so only," Geet said, "What to do Geet, as Boss, so as Adi sir, when it comes to expressing his love he is worst then Mann sir, but he loves me so much," Pinky said blushing up, "How do you know that," Geet asked with a grin, "if he doesn't express himself, how do you know that he loves you so much,"

Pinky smiled big, "Geet, when someone loves you, it's easy to find it out, you can see that in their eyes clearly, in their words, in their acts, in everything, Love can't be hidden Geet, it will show itself somehow, even without any words, someone's true love will make you feel that love for you, even if they don't want to show it up" Pinky said, and Geet was looking at her as if for the first time,

"Is it you Pinky?" Geet asked and Pinky blushed and Geet smiled and went to her cabin, as the time went by Geet felt disturbed as she didn't see Maan, and called Adi and Adi too told Geet what Maan said, and Geet relaxed, but her heart was feeling something missing, she was missing Maan and she herself left strange about it but got back to her work,

Maan was in his room, but his heart was feeling totally tensed, his distance from Geet was making him feel worse, he wanted to rush towards her but he stopped, he had to control himself, he can't lose his control on her, but it was a hardest thing, her angelic face, innocent smile and her closeness was lingering in his heart, Maan tried to get away from those thoughts but it was hard for him,

Dev stopped as he crossed Maan's room and looked at his watch, "Bro, still home," Dev thought and knocked his door, and Maan looked around, "Bro, are you ok," Dev asked worried, "Yes, I am fine, o, no important work in office, so thought of staying back," Maan said and Dev looked at him puzzled, "What happened, today is valentine's day and Bro is home, not even going to see Geet, and wish her," Dev thought confused.

"Maybe they had a fight, or did I misunderstand," Dev thought, "No, No, I saw in their eyes, I can't be wrong, well, let's see the truth in the party," Dev thought, "Dev," Maan called looking at Dev who went into deep thinking, "Bro, I am going to meet Meera and look at the party arrangements, and don't forget bro, at 8.00 in hotel blue sky, party hall, ok," Dev said and Maan nodded an ok, "See you there bro," Dev said and went away,

"Hey Meera," Dev jumped in to Meera's house, "Hey Dev, hmmm, looking a bit confused," Meera found immediately looking at his face, "Wow, Meera, how did you know," Dev asked surprised, "Actually I am confused," Dev said and Meera asked him why and Dev said his confusion, "oh, you think, they might not be into each other," Meera asked, "No Meera, they way they were looking into each other, I would say they like each other,"

"And Meera it's Maan bhai, Meera, never seen bro giving importance to any girls and I spoke to Pinky too and from what she said, surely Bro is into her" Dev said, "Really, what did Pinky say," Meera asked, "Oh, Bro helps Geet a lot and one day he had dropped her home by himself, and when Geet didn't show up to the office after a small misunderstanding, Bro himself went and said sorry and bought her back to work, I mean, Maan Singh Khurana had never said sorry to anyone, but he said sorry and was helping Geet in every move, I Mean, it was not like Bro at all, I am sure he is into Geet," Dev said and Meera nodded,

"Maybe it's like what you said, he is not able to express his feeling," Meera said and Dev nodded, "ok Dev, let go for shopping, I need to purchase something," Meera said, " Hmmm, I too thought of getting Geet a gift, who knows she might be my Bhabhi soon," Dev said, "What, Dev, that means you are paying for me too," Meera said, "Ok," Dev said and they both went away,

Office was boring for Geet without Maan, and she was missing him too much, and was looking at his empty cabin and every call she get she thought it would be Maan's, atleast to hear his voice, "Baba ji, what is this, I am kind of feeling tensed, without Maan sir near me, why didn't he come today, and not even called me once," Geet thought, and wondered herself why she was feeling this,

Finally the clock struck 7, and Pinky came up, "Geet, come on, let's go now," Pinky said as she came up to Geet's cabin and Geet too went up, "Geet, Adi sir said he will pick me from my home, so after that we will come and pick you up," Pinky said, "No Pinky, it's an special day for you and Adi sir, you both carry on, anyways Dev said he will come and pick me up," Geet said,

"Oh, Ok then Geet," Pinky said and they both went away, Geet went to her house and freshened up, "Damn, I have no party wear here, nothing grand, should have thought of it before even, but what to do, in Maan sir thoughts I forgot everything, now, what will I wear," Geet thought looking at her wardrobe and she heard a door bell,

Geet thought for a minute and went and opened the door and a girl was standing her with a big smile, "Excuse me, can I help you," Geet asked and the Girl came in, "Geet, right, I am Meera, Dev's friend and Maan's valentine," she said and Geet looked at her shocked, an feel of jealous came up in Geet's mind, seeing Geet's face Meera can say that she is upset hearing what she said and she laughed out,

"Relax, I am not Maan's Valentine, ok, I was just kidding, Maan is too much for me," Meera said and Geet smiled up, "what do you like to have Tea or coffee," Geet asked, "Only for her or for me too," Dev asked as he came in, "Dev," Geet smiled up, "For both of you," Geet said, "Thank you Geet but no need for that," Dev said,

"Geet, didn't get ready yet," Meera asked and Geet looked upset, "Thank goodness, you didn't," Meera said and Geet looked at her puzzled, "Dev" Meera asked and Dev gave her a bag, "Here, Geet a small gift from me," Meera said and gave her the bag, "from me," Dev said, "Ok, from us," Meera said scorning at him, "What's the necessary for the gift's all," Geet asked, "Geet, just for an beginning of our new friendship," Meera said,

"Thank you," Geet got the bag smiling up, "Dev, you stay here, me and Geet will be back in five minutes," Meera said dragging her into the bedroom and locked the door, "Geet, you have to wear this only to the party," Meera said and Geet nodded, and opened the bag, and stood shocked, "Saree," Geet asked looking at the white sliver worked grand saree, "Yes, Dev said you are traditional, so, bought this," Meera said,

"oh, Meera," Geet looked at her, how to say, Geet had never seen a saree in her whole US life which is like from her kid age and she have no idea how to wear it, "Meera, oh, I don't know to wear this," Geet said shocking Meera, "What, don't know," Meera asked puzzled, "Oh, we, we in Punjab used to wear suits and salwar's only na, I never wore saree before too," Geet said looking down,

"No Problem Geet, I will help you," Meera said and Geet nodded, and after a few minutes, Meera and Geet came out and Dev smiled big, "wow, Geet, just like an fallen angel, you look so beautiful, bro is," Dev started and Geet looked at him, "I mean, everyone is gonna faint in your beauty," Dev finished, "Dev please," Geet said blushing in his compliments, and suddenly Geet's phone rang up, and the trio's looked at it,

Geet knew who it would be, "Baba ji, Breej," Geet thought and Dev looked at Geet and her nervousness and went and took the call, "Hello," Dev said and Geet heart was beating high, Breej who was on the other end was shocked to hear an male voice and kept silent, "Hello, who is it," Dev spoke up, "Hello, hello," Dev shouted and the line was disconnect, "hmmm, strange," Dev said,

And again the phone began to ring and this time Geet rushed and took the call, instead of Dev, "Hello," Geet said, "Geet, who is it, what's happening there," Breej yelled up, and Geet stood there not knowing what to say, "Geet, who is it," Dev asked looking at Geet's nervousness holding the receiver, "No one, I guess wrong number," Geet said slowly, "Give to me, who the hell is that," Dev turned serious and asked for the receiver,

"No Dev, leave it, it happens, we are getting late to the party," Geet said and slowly kept the receiver, "Geet is going for party, great, what the hell is she doing," Breej thought getting frustrated,

Maan walked up towards the party hall, and he remember that Geet too will be there, "Maan, stay away from her, and be relaxed," Maan said to himself, "Bro," Dev called and rushed towards him, "Hey bro, wow, you are in white," Dev said with a grin thinking about Geet's white attire, "why, what's so special, in this," Maan asked, "Nothing bro, let's go," Dev said and they both went up, as Maan entered in Meera rushed to him,

"Maan," she said and stood before him, "Hey Meera," Maan said and Meera pulled him to her friends, and introduced them to Maan, but to his surprise she introduced him as her friend and Dev's brother and not as her valentine, "Meera, you said, you told them that I am your date," Maan said puzzled, "Oh, thought to say the truth anyways, I don't feel good lying to my friends so told them the truth and said you are coming here only as my friend," Meera said and Maan held her putting his arms around her shoulders,

"Meera, I am proud of you, good girl," Maan said, "But said that you like me a lot, that's not a lie right," Meera asked and Maan smiled, "No, I really like you as much as I like Dev," Maan said and Meera smiled big, "Thank you Maan," Meera said giving him a quick hug and rushing into the crowd, "Hello sir," Adi came up seeing Maan, "Hello Adi," Maan said, "where is Pinky," Maan asked,

"Oh, She is been with Geet," Adi said and Maan turned alter, "Geet is already here," Maan asked, "Yes sir, there, they are," Adi pointed towards the crowd, and Maan's eyes looked for Geet and found her standing there, Maan heart skipped a beat seeing Geet standing there just as an angel in that white saree, under those sparkling lights, so beautiful and so mesmerizing, Maan could not take his eyes of her nor himself from smiling, suddenly an pride covered his heart, this angel is his angel, his Geet, his Choti Rani, and frozen himself in that thought,

He was looking at her, her every move and her every expression, Geet found like someone looking at her and she slowly looked around and found Maan looking at her, with his deep eyes and mesmerized face, and his look made her blush, though she controlled her grin, it made her nervous, she looked down and try to look away but her heart wanted to see him, and Geet slowly looked at him his gorgeous face glowing up and his magnetic eyes pulling her into him,

Geet felt lost and disappeared into his hypnotic hold and Maan felt lost into her angelic glow, They both then stood there forgetting the place and time and people around them just staring at each other like never before, Dev and Meera noticed Maan and Geet staring at each other and looked at each other and smiled, "Look at them Meera, do you think I am wrong about them," Dev asked, and Meera nodded a big no, "Absolutely no, look at them looking at each other, like there is no tomorrow," Meera said, and then Meera went to Geet and Dev bought Maan to the center,

Maan got back to his bossy attitude to control his feeling and turned away from Geet and Geet looked at him confused, "what's in his mind," she thought, and went to him, and wished him, and Maan too wished her, "wow, Dev what an party yar," a Guy came and shook hands with Dev, and what kind of gorgeous friends you have Dev, especially that girl, so beautiful, come on Man introduce her yar," he asked and Maan's anger raised up as he knew he was speaking about Geet,

"Sure," Dev said and called Geet, and she came towards them, "Geet, this is my old friend, Rahul; Rahul, this is new friend, Geet." Dev introduced and he let his hand for a shake and Geet too caught it and Maan was unable to control his raising anger and stood away, "Ok, Time of some dance, what's a Valentine's Day party without a dance," an announcement came and everyone paired up and stood on the dance floor,

Maan stood away and Geet too stepped back, "Dev do something," Meera said, and Dev looked around and saw an waiter going towards Maan, and he stopped him, "what did he order," Dev asked, "Apple wine," he replied, "Great, such an mild one," Dev thought, "hey wait here," he told the waiter and went away, and came up with an glass filled with alcohol, and replaced Maan's drink with it,

"Sorry bro, but had to do something for you to open up, forgive me bro," Dev said and went away and stood with Meera, "Meera, let's see if that strong dose of Alcohol pulls his feeling or not," Dev said and waited for Maan to drink it, Maan too caught the drink and in a anger burning inside it him, he empty the glass in one go and he found the effect immediately as it burned his throat and Maan realized his drink had been changed,

Maan didn't want to take any changes so he thought to leave from the hall and walked two steps, and saw that Rahul guy asking Geet for a dance, "Sorry," Geet said and stepped back, "Oh come on Geet, it's Valentine day, and being alone, that too someone as beautiful as you, alone in this night not fair," He said, and Before Geet could answer, "She is not alone," Maan voice made them both to turn around,

"Mr.Khurana, I am sorry, I didn't know that she is your date," Rahul said and stepped back with a smile and Geet looked at Maan, who was looking at her with his magnetic gaze and stood behind her, and Geet's heart beat started to raise, and suddenly the lights turned off and Geet was feeling nervous from head to toe,

Suddenly Geet felt Maan's closeness behind her and she felt his hands sliding around her waist and held her belly and it made her shocked and shivered and she felt an electrical vibe inside her and Maan held her hand in his free hand and the music started,

The music stopped but Maan's desire to hold Geet never reduced, he was holding her close by her waist, feeling her soft skin, he was so lost in a world beyond, he was feeling complete, he was admiring his only beauty in the world, he stopped as the music stopped but was looking at her face, as if for the first time,

Geet was breathing high and shivering up and her fast beating heart sound audible to his ears, he wanted to hug her and yell that she is his own girl and staring into her eyes, Geet was feeling weird, Geet was enjoying his closeness and hold, which she shouldn't, she wanted more, his aggressive hold, his hot breath, his rough touches, was mesmerizing and her heart ached for more, she looked into his eyes,

There was an huge amount of desire pouring out and also she saw an long longing in his eyes, there was another feeling too, Geet was shocked at her own thought, it was love what she saw in his eyes, screaming high, the thought pulled Geet from his hypnotic stare and she realized the situation, she looked around and saw everyone looking at them, and the spot light was only on them,

Geet didn't want to insult him by pushing him away, so she slowly held his hand and pulled it away from her waist and her act made Maan to realize his state and he suddenly become conscious as his alcoholic effect went down, Maan heart was filled with fear now, he did something he shouldn't do, he turned around unable to look at Geet, Geet looked around and found everyone buzzing their name,

She felt embarrassed and she felt worse for enjoying something which she shouldn't, she looked around, and looked at Maan, "Excuse me sir," she said slowly and rushed away from there, "Geet," Maan tried to hold her but she was gone away, Maan felt like killing himself, "what would have she thought, that I took advantage of her, or even worse, that I love her, God, what have I done," Maan thought and he was feeling bad and scared for her, "she is upset because of me," Maan thought, "No, I can let her go like this, no," Maan thought and rushed behind her,
