U r taking it wrong dear.
Offcorse theme of the story, the character, events all has major roll in holding all of us to ur story.
But the thing is..
We hav not only read ur story but hav lived it too..with maaneet!
And we hav been waiting for u too continue this beatiful, different n interesting journey of geet n maan.
U said that u are ready to continue it on ur readers demand na...which means geet readers...then..why not with maaneet?
I dont know about others... But i am still very much stuck in the past..with our maaneet...and would like to read about them any time.
If it had been a new story..things would hav been different...but as we hav already accepted the character as maan n geet..it would be diffcult to accept this change...just like we dont like if any of our main lead is replaced in daily soaps.
It is about the fans choice...that doesnt mean that the story isnt worthy enough..but the charctrs also matters..same implys here.
I will be happy if u can continue it with maaneet...it just a reader's request...
..still its ur choice n u can do as u please ..
We didnt intended to hurt u.. U r a great writer..as many hav already told u..i too think that ur this story will be a block buster if used as a bollywood film script.

Just read your note. There are thousands of stories with Maaneet, but as a reader I deeply connected to only few. It's their writing style we love. You are one among them Reet. Your stories touches the heart. Maaneet is easy to fall in love. That's it.

okay. i will re-change tanvi to sunaina
will change arjun to maan.
but will keep raina.. i m not going to change to geet.

if you want dont want to read then tell me .. i will stop posting altogether. cause again editing 70000 words not possible for me .. moreover writers choice also matters someway don't you think? i cant connect myself with that name anymore.

please lets not discuss anything on the main thread. i have kept this thread for the discussion itself. lets talk here.

Your story, your writing is so wonderful I read it no matter if it has Maaneet there or not. But ILWE is not a new story for many of us. We have read and connected with it so much that I cried with their pain and smiled with their happiness. I would definitely read it but it will take time for me to connect. You know I have not really read many ff/os/ss which does not have Maaneet unless the story is too good for me to leave. Even as I read through the parts you have posted I still think it of as that of Maan and Geet in mind. But it has nothing to do with your writing, just y craziness for Maaneet. I am sure your writing will make me see them as Arjun and raina but it will take some time. U are an awesome writer reet and I truly mean it.

hey with my request I didn't mean that ur story is not worth reading infact its the most romantic, thrilling and interesting story I have read on IF. actually maine kal hi ye story 2nd time read ki thi with the same name and suddenly u said that ur changing their name so I express my pov.

Its not about the Publicity baat sirf itni thi ki maine yeh story as a Maaneet reader start ki thi aur mujhe yeh waise hi zyada pasand h.

agar koi new story hoti to main aise na kahti par IF par main Maaneet story hi read karti thi aur y meri fav Maaneet story hai isliye maine request kari rest is ur wish if u dont like Maan Geet name anymore u can use other names afterall ur the writer u hav full right.

And Sorry if I hurt u in any way.

sorry for hurting ur feelings...but it never meant that way...if u would have start New story with other name...then I would have happily accepted...but ILWE we have already completed 32 parts with maaneet...its difficult accept now with another names.. even we r connected to su... and other characters...it's not about only maaneet...it just a request...at the end it'll be ur decision...thank u

yes..writer's choice too matters.
I can understand ur point..as there are many writers who once used to write on maaneet..but now they no longer wish to write on the couple...so its perfectly fine.
We just shared are views...and its compeletly ur choice/decision whatever u like to do.
But i would like to say one last thing..
As u said that u urself will be able to connect to the new names more compared to privious ones...and i respect ur view/feeling..
Similarly,
we would be able to connect with maaneet more...Its simple...nothing else.

when we start reading, we need some faces to visualize the story in mind- that's a case with me. i dont know how many others do that. when u gave them a photo it is easy to visualize.

Reet, i m one of them who love to read a gud story. i dont care what name u r using. i ll read it. i have read a feb story Prithvi on IF without knowing the persone on whom it was written but then i visualized some one else as the char. till now i visualize those. same i m going to do here. i will visualize them as maneet. becoz i need faces for story.

u don't need publicity, u r awesome but we need faces- that's the only thing. anyways i m going to read in any case. just write with wat ever name u want to write- but write PLEAZZZ ZZZ.
