Just read the update titled "Tigress". Geet indeed has become a tigress in her own way. Loved her way of opening up to maan and her feelings expressing them so beautifully ..statue...hmmm...That is so sweet of maan to almost always go with the way geet would want things and follow her and to obey dadi's advice of not going to her room tonite and thus keeping her with him at the beach. what a serene sight that would be to see...maaneet together cocooned in each other's embrace under the starlit sky...

Once again a lovely well written part that had me drawn into the story sighing at all the emotions flowing between the two.😊 Geets love for Maan is growing stronger and stronger as time passes and she is stuck between her upbringing and society and her shyness not realising that these very traits are what Maan finds attractive in her.😳

but her morals and her upbringing wont let her disclose those desires for him
and she hates that
she can see how much he is suffering due to this
but of course for maan her happiness and comfort comes before anything even his desires for her

but more than that what she could feel from him sitting behind her

and then her making him a statue and well then him trying to control hismelf as she touched him like never before

am glad this geet came out too the one who loves maan without any inhibitions

So the sher has atlast trapped the doe but surprise surprise...the sweet innocent doe had changed into a tigress 😆
loved Maan's plans nd attempts to seduce Geet nd then Dev nd dadima teasing both of them leaving behind an irritated Maan nd blushing Geet 😆 I had really good time imagining the whole scenerio 😃
loved seeing Maan controlling himself even though Geet had atlast even ithough if not fully but had got over her inhibitions. .but his respect for her nd her values had increased my respect for him 😊
now waiting to see how they'de manage staying away from each other 😔

While the main part of this chapter for everyone else might have been the romance, what I really felt for was how Geet was torn. It pinched my heart to see how she thought of herself and her expression of love lesser in front of him. She is a girl raised with traditions and customs ingrained into her deeply and standing at the threshold of what her mind tells her to do and where her heart wants to lead her is pretty depressing. She somehow reminded me of WH's Geet. TL's Geet is the opposite. She is strong enough to reach out for her love and stand firm for it while at the same time not letting go of her Darji's teachings. She is a blend of heart and mind and I love that about her!

I have heard, and read, that when alcohol goes down the system, it makes one lose coherent thoughts yet clears up some specific things. Even if the minutest, champagne did play a part in her... uhh... boldness. Pardon me, I don't know how to put this properly. Anyway, it reminded me of the holi chapter where they were both high on bhang and had some wonderful moments. The statue thing was obviously a result of the champagne. And kudos to Maan for playing along, no matter how difficult it was. 😆

Oh yes, Maan let her drive while she was slightly drunk? Bad bad! Though I know nothing could have gone awry with him right there. 😳

I am glad, though, that even if it was the champagne which pulled her shyness away and let her act on her own desires, that she expressed herself more openly. It was important for Maan to know she loves him as deeply as he does, and for both of them to express to each other that they accept the other just the way they are.

Along with Geet, I was also struck (again!) with the realisation of how much and for how long Maan has loved her. And it reminded me of why I love him so much! ❤️

Something that you have been astonishing me with, is variety and the sense of fulfillment of this story. It is a complete package with all flavours of life. Hats off for pulling it off so well! 👏
