I woke up with a jolt, eyes still closed but the warmth engulfing me made it clear that where am I. But with that, flashed the memories of the dreadful act that took place before I fainted in his arms as the fatigue of my emotional and physical turmoil took over me.

Slowly opening my eyes, I saw the beautiful face of my husband with eyes closed but arms tightened around my body. He is sleeping in half - sitting position, resting his head on bed post with my head on his chest. We are still in the Outhouse, in our bedroom. He must have carried me here after I fainted in the kitchen downstairs.

Tears of shame pooled my eyes as I thought of the sin I committed today. How did I become so selfish ? To end my miseries, I wounded his already hurt heart again. I know the fact so well... that his existence depends on each of the breath I take, even then I committed such grave mistake, again hurt his already bleeding heart.

Oh... Kya ye Kaale badal kabhi chattengne ?? Kya humari zindagi mein kabhi suraj ki wo roshni hogi jo har andhere, har kaali ghata ko cheer kar humme inn kaale badalon se bahar nikalegi ?? Please Babaji... Darr lagne laga hai iss andhere se jisme main apne saath saath apne Maan ko bhi kheench rahi hu... Darr lagta hai kahin phir iss andhere mein main apne Maan ko kho naa du... Please Babaji... rehem karo... mujhe koi to raah dikho...

As the salty water flew down my eyes, I hugged Maan pleading forgiveness silently. I tried controlling my sobs so that his sleep doesn't get disturb, but the ache in my heart is back with double intensity.

Geet...Maan jerked open his eyes as my body shook while I cried.

I m sorry Maan...I could hardly recognize my own voice

Hey Jaan...He kissed my head and rubbed my back to soothe me but I kept chanting Sorry. I know he can never be angry on me and will forgive me, but I also know that he is hurt and frightened.

We remained in the same position till my loud cries turned into silent sobs. He kept rubbing my back keeping me close to him.

I was still shedding tears silently when Maan broke the hug and holding my chin, he made me face him. I looked into his eyes as he very gently brushed my tears away. His calmness increased my guilt many folds. Just so that I am saved from the painful feeling of remorse, he is trying to cover his pain.

I threw my arms around him, embracing him, crying and begging for his forgiveness.

I m sorry Maan... I m very sorry... Please mujhe maaf kar dijiye...

Jaan...

Please Maan... Please... Please mujhe maaf kar dijiye... I m sorry... I cried with hiccups while he got out of the hug and cupped my face shaking his head negatively, telling me not to cry. His face reflecting the same pain as mine.

Jaan... promise me... You will never think of anything like this ever again... Finally he cried along with me. I was dreading this moment only.

Sorry Maan... Oh... I would do anything to comfort him. I can never forgive myself to have made him shed tears.

Promise me Jaan...He pleaded painfully making me insane to have done this him

I nodded and took his lips in mine. Wanting to take away all his pain, to soothe the ocean deep wounds and to calm the storm of emotions. Too shocked by the act, he couldn't respond in the beginning. But I had lost all my senses today. His tears broke the last thread holding my sanity. And I kissed him with all my might till we both felt dire need of air.

As we broke the kiss, Maan distanced a little to look into my eyes. I know he was trying to search his answers but I was far away from any logics now. I pulled him back as I was fully aware of his resistance.

Geet...He spoke before our lips met

Maan please...I whispered before closing my eyes surrendering my soul to its owner

And then followed, starting of the battle between my fears and our love. It's between the dark clouds of my past and the love of my life, my husband, my Maan. And I will fight till my last breath to make him win. I will fight these dark clouds, slash them to let the light of our love spread all over.

Open your eyes Jaan...Maan called me lovingly

When I opened my eyes, Maan had a spark in his eyes, a promise, a determination. As if reading my thoughts he looked into my eyes with his unconditional, limitless love

It was like a call deep down to my heart n soul. His loving gaze locked my eyes. His lips did not leave even a small part of my skin untouched. His tender kisses started from my forehead and trailed down ensuring my presence with each contact. His hands and lips washed away every mark of my past, claming me as his. He made me moan his name every second, not letting me drift away even for a blink of an eye.

And what followed was a blissful moment when the two wounded, frightened souls forgot everyother existence around them and became one again, crossing every hurdle that they came across in their way.
