A wave of shock, anger, pain, hurt spread across the entire room. Meera n Yash were frozen at their places, unable to react but now could relate to the fear n pain they have been witnessing since past 2 years. Whereas Maan was as numb as a dead person. He had thought of n number of reasons but this... he could never think of anything of this sought in his wildest, worse of dreams. His Geet, his life, went through such trauma. When he was supposed be protecting her, he was drowned in his own miseries. When his soul was wounded, needed his love to heal her, he was lost unaware. He had reached to heights in these years but all his success seemed so timid today. He seemed a failure today. His life seemed a lie today.

Aniee looked up at her brother who stood numb there, after his encounter with the bitter reality of their lives. It's been seconds, minutes... but Maan was still standing like a dead soul with no movement. Aniee tried to call him but was fearing his ultimate reaction.

Maan screamed out his pain almost intimidating the other three present in the room n fell on his knees while Aniee rushed to support her elder brother who had always been a father figure for her. This is the moment she feared n so hid the truth from him. She realized how true Geet was... that he won't be able to take this harsh reality.

He cried but Aniee wiped her own tears n cupped his face with a determined look. She made him look at her when said

It was evening and they all had searching for Geet madly. Yash n Meera have been to each n every road, lane in Rishikesh n now were looking at the main highway whereas Maan n Aniee went to Haridwar as suggested by Yash. Coz this is the only place where Geet had been with them in last 2 years. Maan was going frantic getting no sign of her anywhere, when he got a call from Meera which made Maan all the more worried as he heard her say...

Maan... Geet ko andhere se bahut darr lagta hai... Aise mein raat ko wo akeli...

He was running like a mad person on the narrow streets of Haridwar, when he found a dark deserted lane on his right. He was on to turn left but his heart compelled him to go right. It was as if his longing heart knew where would he find its solace and indeed it did find when he heard her screaming his name. She was struggling to save herself from some drunkards. Her fearful expression told him that it wasn't just these men but those bitter memories of her past also she running from. But it felt so over whelming that in that condition also when she was running away from him, she was calling him only. She was still expecting him to come n save her. Even after his biggest failure to protect her when he should have, she wanted him only to come. She still expected him, still trusted him !!!

He ran towards her dodging each one who came between him n his life. He was mad, guilty but at the same time so happy to have found her, at least this time, on time. The moment their eyes met even in that dark street, he could see her painful sigh of relief to have him there n then she surrendered to the physical as well as emotional fatigue.

Maan called Adi for the car holding her unconscious form in his arms. He kept her so close to him that was getting difficult to breath. He wanted to feel her, assure himself that it wasn't a dream, that it was actually his Geet in his embrace. He held her tight trying to absorb all her pain, to soothe her will his love. He wanted to beg her to forgive him for his failure when he knew he would never be able to do it to himself.

He sat on a road side bench with her in his arms, shielding her from the entire world weeping, apologizing.

Aniee... Geet kaisi hai ab ??asked an anxious Meera who reached Khurana farmhouse in Haridwar with her husband, as soon as they got the news of Geet.

Ander hai... Doctor is checking her?? But she is very restless even in her unconscious state...

Mujhe issi baat ka darr tha... Humne usse last 2 years mein har raat aise hi tadapte hue dekha hai... cried Meera

All three of them looked up Maan who standing in corner of the room with his bleeding hand. He had a glass in his hand when he heard Meera telling about Geet's sufferings. He wanted to feel pain that she felt whereas his eyes were almost spitting fire when he looked in the eyes of his sister.

Aniee...

She knew this would come, she knew the minute her brother would find her bhabhi, he would definitely come to her to know the whole truth. She had been hiding it since so long, had been living in that guilt to conceal the most bitter truth of his life from him. She knew by the look on his face, she had to answer him today.

I wanted to tell u bhai... I swear ... but Bhabhi took promise from me... Aapki aur apni kasam di thi unhone...

Does that mean ... U'll let her suffer for so long... U knew she needed me...
