Part 13 BHe walked away and she heaved a sigh of relief. But her relief was for a short period of time. He turned her around and she felt her back burning.
Your tattoo is bleedingHe whispered near her ear huskily blowing air over her back as he applied dettol over the wound. She realized he meant his name that she had carved over her back just below her clavicle. His fingers lingered on her bare back longer than required. As if in a trance, his fingers trailed down to her strap. She shivered with his tenderness. A blow of thrill and excitement sizzled her upper half perking up her nippers as her lower half hummed in hot waves of pleasure. It was like standing hot summer sweating like hell and freezing winter shivering altogether. She leaned back into him lost in the warmth radiating off him. Her lips quivered. And the unexpected happened. His reverie broke with her reaction. He backed away from her. She was kind of disappointed with the loss of his warmth but recovered her emotions soon after realizing the reality. Still a part of her debating on his withdrawal. With the chillness of air, she realized how naked she was infront of the man whom she supposedly despised and probably he returned the same feeling. She pulled the rubber out of her hair as the thick black mass spreaded all over covering most of her back. Automatically her hands covered her front, shivering a tad bit. However, after few minutes she no longer shivered as a long silk robe covered her petite body. She put her hands inside the sleeves of the robe covering herself fully. He put a shawl around her and made her sit on the bed and walked away. Standing by the window he stared to oblivion perfectly aware of the fact she was staring at him almost burning imaginary holes all over his back.
Thick silence prevailed between them, the whistling of the chill air was the only sound they heard. The silence becoming unbearable now, he spoke up,
Why?She knotted her eyebrows at his abrupt question.
Why didn't you tell me about your coma state?He sighed.

You never asked me.
How did it happen?He was worried, although clueless of the reason.
After we broke... You left India, two days after that, I had an accident... After Papa's cremation ceremony... You had... It had nearly killed me... Rehan took me inShe let out a faint sob. He so much wanted to run back to her, hug her, comfort her but he decided against it. A part of him however was furious with the mention of 'Rehan' from her mouth... Jealousy bordering his anger... He wanted to just destroy everything that made Geet take that idiot's name that too with adoration. However he calmed down. He needed to know more.
How many months were you out?He calmly questioned , much to her surprise.
Two monthsShe bit out, furious at his calmness. She recalled the events thereafter, and stiffened. Hoping he wouldn't question her more she laid down on the bed. To her luck he just said,
Sleep Geet... And goodnight.With that he pressed a kiss to her forehead, tucking a lose strand of hair behind her ears he turned with a stiff posture and walked away. Although he went away, she couldn't sleep a wink the whole night. The memories of her past tormented her. The events that followed after she got out of her coma state... Even as sleep drew in, she could hear faint sobs. She couldnt pay any more attention to the sound as she slept off.
Might be something in my head...She mumbled.
***Geet laid on the bed staring at the wall as a book laid carelessly on her lap. Her trance broke as she heard footsteps towards her room. Not those heavy ones that she had known to be her father's, it was different. Her eyes twinkled with excitement thinking may be it was Maan. Her door creaked open but her smile faltered a bit seeing the person's face. It was Maanu.
Hi Geet!She hugged Geet. It wasn't a warm gesture, but it wasn't unwelcoming either.Hi Dii! How are you? Idhar kaise aana hua?Geet was back to her normal self. You don't seem too excited to see me... Expecting someone else?She asked cockily. Geet stilled for a moment before speakingMmm...aa-She was cut off by Mohinder who rushed in. Geet.. I have heavy amounts of work pending in office... Will complete and return as soon as possible..He kissed her forehead carressing her right cheekOkay Papa You don't worry... I'll be alrightShe assured him.Take care of yourself baby and... Spend some time with Maanu you will feel goodShe nodded obediently. He went towards the door and pausedNo stepping out of this house GeetHe warned and left as she noddedYes Papa!.
She sounded exasperated with his over-protectiveness. Maanu distracted her talking about school, movies, delicacies and even hot drool worthy heroes. Thats what she has been instructed to do by Sanjay. Although she had found it boring at that time, but after interacting with Geet for such a long time she had an instant liking towards her. It was such a surprise but indeed she had begun to adore the cute girl infront of her. So carefree, so talkative, so innocent, It was as if she was a mini version of her. By the end of lunch, she had shared all her secrets about Rahul with Geet and Geet being the diehard cupid giggled and swooned over the couple. She gushed about how cute they were. Suddenly her face saddened with the thought of Maan and her. Maanu noticed that. Now its your turn GeetShe raised an eyebrow catching Geet offguardAbout what di?She played innocence. That night... Maan's birthday nightMaanu questioned carefully. Although at the mention of his name made her insecure, she was actually worried for Geet. Geet took a sharp intake of breath. She hadn't talked about it with anyone clearly. As Maanu had trusted her with her secrets, she could do the same, she realized. So she beganDi actually I don't know what to name this feeling as... One moment I felt his touch so heavenly but the next moment it felt so repulsive... I.. I love him DiShe gauged Maanu's face waiting for any sign of her being judgemental towards her but thankfully she didn't. What do you mean Geet?Maanu gritted her teeth. He... Probably was drunk di... But the way he touched and kiss...kissed me was so tender... I felt so loved, so cared.. So touched Like mumma... DidShe smiled amidst her tears But then he got so close to me... His rudeness... Crude words... The intimacy... Terrorized me...She hugged Maanu in fear. Her insecurity and her brother's outrageous act, made Maanu wanting to rip his head off. Maanu was confusedPromise to fight anyone who brought me in such a situation... Hit the person even it was himShe gasped and made all kinds of faces. Maanu almost smiled at her crazy brother's way of rectifying mistakes inspite her own insecurity and coldness towards him. You only tell me how can I hit someone whom I love? To top it off he told he would teach me how to fightMaanu laughed at her cribbing. Don't laugh Di I am seriousShe tried to put up a serious face but broke into peals of laughter. They calmed down as Maan made her promisePromise me Geet you would tell me any such thing if it happens again... All your secretsGeet showed her little finger making a pinky promise. You too DiGeet smirked as Maanu mouthed 'fine' and did the pinky promise.
The driver honked the horn indicating it was time for Maanu to leave. Just as she bid her goodbyes and was about to leaveDi how is Maan? Where is he?She asked hesitantly. Maanu gulped wondering whether to tell her or not and finally she didHe ran away from homeShe rushed out leaving Geet shell shocked. Just then Mohinder entered ushering her to have food, watch TV with him and so on. Just like a robot she followed him, still processing the truth about Maan. She felt so restless of being unaware of his health and whereabouts the whole day.

Wrapping his hand around her waist, he pulled her closerI am coming with youHe pushed her inside the car forcefully and drove towards Mrs.Shekhar's clinic. She put on a grumpy face worried about her menstruation. All of a sudden as it has started again she needed to consult the doctor who was incharge of her case when she was in coma, that was Dr.Rehaan. Ofcourse she was sure, Maan didn't touch her in wrong way... It would have been altogether a different situation and she would have felt the pain of being broken. She snapped out of her thoughts pleading Maan please take me to Rehaan, its urgent... He knows me betterHe shot her an agonized look but continued driving with a stone face. His hot looks and his anger were definitely turning her on which was wierd for the emergency situation she was in. She again pleadedAtleast take me back to my flat He flatly deniedNOShe looked away and lowly growledStop here!He denied again. She was highly agitated and screamed on the top of her lungs, to stop and finally he did, looking at her shocked. They were now infront of a medical shop.Give me your purseShe demanded like she owned him. He didn't react. Finally she pulled it out from his back. That broke his shocked state.What are you doing?He hissed out. She ignored him. Taking out few notes she returned his purse. Before he could question Shutup... I will be back in a minute She ran before he could catch her. He followed her to the shop remaining a safe distance away. She bought something wrapped in a black polythene and returned to the car. He came soon after taking his seat. She was huffing. What is this?He pointed at the polythene. She gave him a What-the-bloody-hell look and he bucked up. Calming down she orderedFor a minute please, get out of the car
What?He shouted. Stop shouting And he just went on with his 'What?' s each time the sound level increasing. Finally she screamed exasperatedlySHUT UP AND GET OUTHe obediently got out as she said Put the glasses up, childlock on and dont peakShe warned and he did looking away. She had just pealed off the covers, he knocked mouthing 'over?'. She glared at him. By the time she had put the pads correctly he was already screaming his heads off 'over? Over? Over?' She was frustrated by then. However she nodded and he entered in a whoosh inside the car again askingWhat is it?She ignored him already getting crazy with his big mouth. He sighed and finally continued driving. As they reached the clinic, Maan immediately rushed out to enquire as Geet sat in the car waiting. He came back with a pouting face. Mrs.Shekhar was unavailable. Let's go to your Dr.RehaanHe gritted as she let out a chuckle and finally they drove away.
As soon as Rehaan saw Geet he hugged her. Maan clenched his fist, growling silently at the contact. As if on response Geet withdrew, much to Rehaan's surprise. Rehaan ordered his assistant to postpone his next two appointments. Maan snarled at this extra favour of his. He ushered them to his cabin.What happened Geet? You look tensed... Any side-effects of the medicines I gave you He asked calmly. I uh.. Have started with my periods again Rehaan...She said embarrassed. Maan gritted his teeth clenching his fist, at the point of blowing his head off in anger. Hey that's a good sign... Why are you so tensed? I had nearly lost hope... Absence of it would have caused complications and your uterus non-functional... What caused it so suddenlyHe asked getting proffessional. Uh I don't knowShe smiled sheepishly and Maan was just controlling himself from blowing off. Any intimate touches?He querried. Geet gasped looking at Maan and finally put her head down with a 'umm'. Geet why don't you go in... Check up with your blood pressure, pulse and weight... Meanwhile I will write up your prescription.He requested, more of nodded. As if on a cue, more of an involuntary reflex she looked at Maan who nodded, his fists clenched, high cheekbones jutting out. As soon as Geet went in, Rehaan trained his eyes on Maan. Look Mister.. Maan interruptedThe name is Maan Singh KhuranaHe bit out. Whoever you are... Just- Maan cut him off againHer fianceHe smirked seeing his face fall. However Rehaan recovered andLook Just stay away from her No sooner had he finished when Maan grabbed his collar practically shaking in anger. After a minute of glaring contest, he let him go. The poor girl is just 26 and gotten out of coma for god's sake... Don't be so hard on her just for your primal sex urgeRehaan bit out enviously. Maan snarled at him. Being in coma for so long... And not being in physical contact has weakened her touch-recognizing ability, If you cannot control yourself then stay away from her... Whatever happened for now is good... But your intimate touches can freak her out... And she may again reach to coma... So for her betterment yo-Rehaan was cut off by Geet this time.For my betterment?She looked confused as Maan pulled her closer grabbing her waist. Rehaan grimaced at their closenessI have explained it toHe glared at MaanYour fianceGeet gasped and about to protest when Maan grasped her butt turning her attention back to him. As soon as they were inside the car, he rash drived to her flat. He asked her to pack her bags. Instead she rushed in closed the door on his face. He banged the door shouting for her. Finally broke open through the window jumping inside her bedroom easily since she stayed in the ground floor. He paced around packing her bags, clothes, files as she looked on shell shocked. He picked the packed bags placing them inside the dicky, gesturing her to come. She outrightly denied angering him more. He marched towards her furiously picking her up bridal style. She protested and screamed but he heard none.

I miss you momHe kissed his mother's portrait. But Vicky misses his Charlie Dad moreSaid a man hugging him from back. Although Charlie was his step-father, he loved him the most in the world apart from Maan, Geet, Daadi, Maanu and his mother. With the voice he turned around in a blink of an eye pleasantly surprised. There stood Charlie and his beloved, Vicky's mother. Their eyes twinkling in pride looking at their 19 year old youthful and handsome son, smarter than anyother normal child of his age. He hugged them getting emotional remembering his initial meeting with Charlie.
Vicky's POV
It was two months since mom and Vikash split up. I wonder why do I call him as Vikash and not Dad. However I am very very happy today. One month since I shifted from India to USA. Mom and Dad, my new Dad Charlie... By the way he is so cool, I love him so much... So mom and dad are very proud of me today... Because I am not jumping just one or two but seven years ahead of my classes... Teachers say I am a gifted child grasping much more than my age... They tested me through several entrance exams and finally decided to promote me. They already have made provisions for my new classes ... I will be now studying with students of 15 years of age and currently Dad threw a celebration party for the same reason. I love Dad more than youI teased her and Dad stuck out his tongue at her as well. She pouted as we fed her a piece of cake, happily free of all worries specially Vikash.
Vicky's reverie broke with his mother's scream. Immediately he and Charlie were by her side. Her lips quivered.He... He., vv-i-k-kaas-sh is ali-veAnd she fainted.
