Essence of love:-

I love my story as it is unique of all i read till now mines is a middle aged love story which potrates all human values i love the way they fall in love and the bond between the family members of geet, their love to each other.there r many scenes i love in it please give it a try all of u . and do commt on it.

I think every story has been more special than the previous; simply because I have discovered and portrayed a new side to two names...Maan and Geet.

What If?

The most goose bump giving scene for me would be the one when at the very end Geet finds Maan's letter; his last letter. And then she gets the will to move on. That point when she realizes she is pregnant and opens her window to Spring; the way winds whisper to her like Maan would have..."I am going to be a father Mishty"

I think I never realized what I had written until I read through the story later.

Love from across

That scene where Geet is bunched up in Maan's arms amidst the storm near the border and discovers the Taveez he still wears after all these years, that realization of him still holding on to her Taveez...That one is ethreal.

Back to You

Actually since I am writing this one, every other scene turns out more closer than the previous. But sincerely, its the latest one I updated. The chapter 'Doors to Nirvana" was truly an epiphany; a delight to write and later read (given that I hate reading my writings after a few days😆)

In the chapter, the way they almost reach salvation but come spiraling down...was almost like free falling without touching something you took off for.

I visualized the part of her chasing to the doors in an imaginary precipice and it closing on her at the last second...still gives me shudders...!

SUNSHINE (MG) Epilogue PAGE 136 (9th/Nov/2011)

Geetika read and re read the letter and then after some time decided to go to KM, and informing Pinky she took a taxi and went there. She roamed in the whole premises and many times tried to open the main door but did not feel like opening it.

Then she went near the pool and stared at the main gate, she skipped a beat when she saw him coming, he came near her, she stared and said

G: sir, you, but you have left

M: I came back

G: why?

M: for you

G: really

M: really

And he extended his arms inviting her

She stepped towards him but as soon as she touched him he vanished in thin air.

She halted and closed her eyes and sighed then she turned around and sat on a garden seat hiding her face in her knees.

She heard someone calling her, Geet, Geetika, she lifted her head and found that he was standing in front of her

M: Geet, look I am back

G: you are back

M: yes

G: are you real

M: um

She extended her hand to touch him but he disappeared, she cried bitterly and hid her face in her palms.

She again heard a sound of crumbling dry leaves as if someone was walking; she looked in the direction of sound and saw that he was coming towards her, she stood immediately and shouted

G: why are you bothering me?

M: because I have the right to

G: no, you don't have

M: then who has this right

G: no one

M: Geet you are fast, I have only been away for few hours and you snatched away all my rights

G: Maan are you real?

M: what do you think I am?

G: my imagination

M: you are correct close your eyes and open them

She did so and the moment she opened her eyes he was no where

She put her hands on her ears to block any sound but still she heard a creaking sound as if someone was opening a door, she turned and saw him coming she closed her eyes and turned to avoid him, then she heard him say

M: Geet turn around

G: no

M: Geet please for once look at me

G: no

M: I'll go back

G: who has stopped you?

M: so you too realized that ours is a mismatch, good

G: (turned abruptly) no ours is not a mismatch

M: Geet did you look around, I had the premises cleaned up

G: (saw around, everything was perfect)

M: I also had KM painted

G: (look at the building and found that it was ready for use)

M: I had it done for you

G: why

M: now that us is just a dream, you will soon settle down

G: no

M: do come and live here with your husband

G: I am not going to marry anyone

M: you will soon find someone

G: no

M: your heart will find him

G: no (covering her ears)

M: will you marry me?

G: no

M: ok then I shall leave (he turned to leave)

G: (realizing what she said screamed): Maan, MAAN, I will marry you, please wait

She ran behind his leaving form which disappeared in thin air

She twisted her ankle and fell down; she tried to stand up but fainted.

I read the ff again and saw that I like many scenes than decided to post this one

During Amnesia (MG) EPILOGUE -52-

Geet left she did not tell Maan that she was going and Maan did not notice, though he felt some stabbing sensation in his heart but he ignored, it was the next day that he noticed when she did not come for break fast "Dadi, where is Geet?" Dadi stared at him and said "so, she was correct you never got your memory back" Maan was taken aback "Dadi, now after all these days you are talking about my memory loss, why?" "Because if you were the same Maan who married her, you would have known the instant she left" he choked "she left" "yes"

Maan ran to her room and found a letter, he picked it up and read

"Maan, or shall I say Mr. Maan Singh Khurana, I was very happy the day you came to bring me back, but when I saw you I realized that it was not Geet but Mrs. Geet Maan Singh Khurana you have come to. Maan I know my man inside out, and he can not lie to me, and Maan you have been a great husband I thank you for this 1 year and 5 months but Maan I still can not forget the man I love, I wrote to you last time that may be I do not love my man so much that he can remember me, during this time I tried but failed and after 17 months you still don't remember the warmth we shared, sorry Maan I can not life like this dying every day, I am leaving behind Manjeet and you two are inseparable, I wish you happiness in your life and if you some day remember me, you can find me waiting for you on every Sunday between 11am to 2 pm at the same place where we met for the first time in Delhi. If you get back those days you will remember where we met accidentally for the first time in Delhi and you will also remember that it was not the first time we met, because we have met previously not in Delhi but else where. If I live to the day you get back your memory you will find me waiting for you, and if I am not there on Sunday 11 am to 2 pm consider me dead. Maan it's quite difficult to even live without your love still I am living in the hope that some day I will get my man back. Waiting for you desperately yours and only yours Geet"
