"doctor what had happened with her... why was she behaving like this" asked maan as he sat in doctor's cabin where police officer was also present.

"I had no idea mr khurana. It can be a result of sudden shock because of waking up in different environment or may be some mental trauma she is going through. But nothing I can say until she gains consciousness again."

"but mr khurana, something was strange here"

"what officer???"

"maan sahib, that girl was scared I could understand... but ajeeb baat yeah hai ki she was rrunning away from everyone in that room, phir wo apki baat kyu sun rhi thi. She came to you for her safety... and you said before ki you don't even know her..." asked officer suspiciously.

"officer I too didn't understand the same. And I was very honest when I said I don't know her... I myself was shocked seeing her come to me."

"mr khurana how much you deny but the girl's reaction says she knows you and I advise that you stay here when she wakes up to control her in case she gets wild again."

"why me, why should I waste my precious time over here for the girl I don't even know" he said in arrogance.

"mr khurana, I know you are a man of power but still you cant deny that you are responsible for her accident and somewhere for her condition too... we are not taking you in custody because we need a proper statement from her too to do that, but you do have a moral responsibility for her. And I hope as a loyal citizen you will act as one. Well am leaving now. Doctor call me when she gains consciousness"

Both maan and police left after informing doctor to call them once the girl gains consciousness.

It was almost evening when maan received a call from doctor to reach hospital fast. Maan could sense that something was wrong there with the way doctor was hyperventilating on the phone. In twenty minutes he reached hospital and straight away moved toward girl's floor.

Loud voices could be heard from the other end of corridor, probably of the girl as far as he recognized. He got worried thinking she had injured herself more and made a dash for her room. But when he reached there, she was all in tears; she was sitting on floor in a corner of the room hiding her face in her hands and was wailing like a kid.

As she heard some footsteps, she got alerted and lifted her face. She thought may be those people were back to hurt her, but somewhere there was a relief when she saw that he had came back to save her. She stood up from her place with difficulty and held the wall for support. Maan saw her condition, it was worst from tomorrow.

Her face looked pale, her eyes were red and in tears, a bandage was around her head, and some were on her hands and legs. He was just seeing her condition when his eyes fell on the blood that was coming from her foot, it looked fresh and deep. He got alarmed and asked in concern, "how does this happen??"

The girl just walked toward him and held his hand and wiped her tears with her another hand. "tum kha gye the, maine kitna dhundha pata hai??? Mujhe bachalo I hate them, bachalo please" she said in her weak croaky voice while maan looked at her actions confused. First of all he didn't understand her fear, why is she scared of doctors and secondly why does she trust him to save her, when he don't even know her.

He saw her hand which was holding his arm tightly and he felt shit with the feelings it gave him, someone's trust was what he hated the most, he couldn't keep the trust of people who mattered the most for him then how the hell can he do justice with someone whom he doesn't even know. He freed his hand from her hold with a pull, but she just looked at him with wide eyed and held him by arm tightly again.

"jao nhi, dar lagta hai... jao nhi... haat pakdo jaao nhi" she said as she kept her cheek against his arm and held him tightly. "chodo mujhe... don't touch me" he said and pushed her away rudely, he was never a person to stand so close to any other woman apart from his suhana, nor he wated to go close with anyone again... it was not in him to be close to anyone else.

His push was hard and he didn't even notice that she fell on bed with his applied force. Girl looked at him and said, "mere lag gyi... dekho kitni sari chot lagi hai... dard ho rha hai" he looked at her and wondered how can she still talk like that even after his rude behaviour... and the doctors who aren't saying anything even, she is scared of them... what is she made up of???

He looked at the blood and again asked, "kaise hua ye" he asked pointing toward that fresh wound. "woo bad people, wo phir agye the... wo gande hai, bachalo mujhe" she said rubbing her eyes to wipe off the tears that were coming due to the body pain. While maan just held his head with her continuous chanting of bachalo mujhe. He was about to just leave when he saw doctors coming inside.

As girl's eyes fell on doctor again, she again hid herself behind him, and held his hand for support. "jao tum log... gande ho... jaooo" she shouted from behind him and them again hid behind his broad back.

"thank god mr khurana you came, we were really waiting for you" doctor said as he looked at him with worried lines. "doctor everything later, she has a new wound on her leg, lagta hai she injured herself... you bandage that first... khi septic na ho jaye" he said worriedly as he looked behind him at her who was just holding his arm tightly, almost digging her nails in his hand and her eyes were shut tightly.

"Mr khurana that's the issue, she isn't letting anyone come close, when today she woke up and saw nurse, she got violent and started shouting for her to leave... when others came she took a scalpel and pointed at them... I cant even force anyone to hold her as her wounds are freshly stitched and they will open up if force is applied." Doctor said with worry and seriousness.

Maan just lost his mind as he heard about taking scalpel in her hand and shouted, "its your carelessness doctor, when yesterday she got violent you should have asked your staff to remove all the sharp things. Today just because of your carelessness, she had hurt herself, and has a new injury now"

Doctor looked down knowing he overlooked that point while girl just jumped with his sudden loud voice. She got scared more and said slowly, "dato nhi, ganda admi, bahar jao tum, jaooo" she said coming out from behind his back and then again hid herself. "will you be quiet for a moment..." he said looking at her turning his face. "par..." "bas chup bilkul chup" he shouted and she nodded scared of his loud voice. She kept her forefinger on her lips and looked at him with her large eyes while he just wanted to pull his hairs now seeing her act.

"doctor why am I called and please just do whatever it takes but see her wound" he shouted at doctor who just nodded. After a moment he came back with a pill and gave it to maan, "mr khurana it's a sleeping pill, you have to give her as she is not letting us near. If she is asleep we can check her wound then"

Maan took the pill and turned toward the girl and said, "eat this, it will heal your pain" girl looked at the medicine and cringed her nose and said, "nhi I wont take this... kadvi hai... nhi" "dekho don't test my patience, just eat it or I will force" he said when he had totally lost his control seeing her tantrums, comeon she isn't a kid to be scared of medicines.

But she again denied and kept her hand on her mouth and started shaking hand in no. maan just rolled his eyes and gave a glare to doctor who just backed away. He knew this way nothing is going to happen and just took a deep breath to calm himself down, "dekho you want these bad people to go na??" he asked pointing toward doctor and she immediately nodded in yes. "to have this, and I promise uske baad I will throw him out". Girl looked at him and then at the medicine and finally at the doctor and weighed her options.

"wo admi jaega na??" she asked still unsure.

"ha chalo lelo ye" he said and gave medicine in her hand and then the water and she slowly took the medicine still unsure. After she gulped the medicine she gave him the glass and then glared at the doctor and said, "shoo jao ab... you bad man" she said pointing her finger to him as she knew that he cant come near her until maan was near.

Maan signalled to doctor to leave until she is sleeping and took a step to go too when girl said, "tum mat jao, wo aa jaega... mat jao" girl said getting alarmed again as a fear engulfed her. He sighed and sat on the stool and waited until she loses her sense.

"doctor I cant leave my life and stay and do a nurse job for you everyday" maan blasted as he entered doctor's cabin after the girl slept. "Mr khurana am sorry for the inconvenience but we cant help much too... we too are confused with her behaviour"

"so what have you thought further, why is she behaving this way??"

"I just don't know and to know the reason we need to talk to her which is not going to happen as it seems."

"so are you going to let her be like this only???" he asked shocked.

"no khurana sir, we had called a psychiatrist tomorrow. Maybe he will be able to talk with her and know her problem. He is the best and I hope he will be able to sort this out"

"hmm... but what if she wakes up again??"

"i will keep giving sedatives till tomorrow but we cant continue it after that, as it would have a aftereffect if she consumes overdose. We just hope tomorrow everything is fine"

"hmm.. ok doctor am leaving for now"
