I pull out my cellphone and dial. She picks up with a gushing voice "MK, What a surprise?"

"Sasha, set up a meeting of the HOD's first thing tommorrow. Make sure to call all the team members working on the Malhotra project".

Before she can gush anymore, I hang up. One down, one more to go.

I dial again "Megha?". My face softens with her voice. Finally it feels like I have someone on my side. I let her voice and her chatter soothe me.

Hanging up the call to Geet, I realize that it will be at least half an hour before she gets back to the apartment. Time for some love with my warrior princess! I smile as I bound up the steps to the apartment. There is a dim light in the living room. Geet's door is open and her room is empty. Super. I head to Tara's room closing the door softly behind me.

Her lights are not on but the light from outside is enough to notice that she has a halter top on with a flowy skirt. Her hair is pinned up with a giant clip and the birthmark on her back beckons me. My bride to be. Looking yummy!

It is our first day here together. The people who she had arranged to clean up the place have just left and yet Megha is wandering around our tiny flat like it was a palace. As she passes me by, I hold onto her pallu. She looks back wondering what I want. I tug her slowly towards me my eyes raking over her. So much that I have suppressed for so long will wait no longer. It is a day of firsts for us. Her eyes are shy as I bring her towards me, inching slowly a half step at a time.
