Part 13

She smiled as she checked the date. Two weeks would end tomorrow and he would be back. It was so tough to pass these days, him not being with her to bug her, to irritate her, she missed him so much and most importantly he didn't even once called her. She thought he would atleast be in contact with her, but no, he was really getting on her nerves now.

She remembered what he said before going, she somewhat was sure that this time he would finish the conversation they left unfinished last time but what she wasn't sure was about herself. She wasn't sure to tell him about her feelings, not now not in future. Even if he accepts her, will his family accept too??

In these days she had seen how excited everyone had been thinking about his marriage. She felt it was being rushed but then maan was the ladla of the house and all wanted to see him settled too. She had seen dadi pester naintara for shopping for maan's would be while naintara every day will bring new pictures of girls, all from rich class, each one better than the last. And she understood she didn't satisfy their criteria of ideal daughter in law and she in no way want his family to be upset from him because of her. When people of middle class cant accept her, how can they, they were really out of her reach.

And above all she won't even fit in his life, he was totally different from her. She would cripple his perfect life too, yes she had grown blind in love when she fell for him but now it was time to be practical for him, for his happiness.

Next day when she went to khurana mansion in evening she saw everyone were collected in hall. In mid of them she saw that one face who captured her thoughts throughout the day. He too saw her coming and smiled at her, his genuine charming smile.

She too smiled back and for once forgot what she promised herself last night. He took out the gifts he had brought for everyone. But his eyes would just be fixed on her, but she dared not look at him in eye. "didi dekhiye chachu sabke liye gifts laye, bhut sare" mansi said excitedly.

"hiii geet, kaisi ho" maan said seeing her so distant today.

"am fine aur tum kaise ho"

"mai bhi fine"he said not understanding why is she so upset.

"chalo mansi let's start with today's class" geet said and thus took away mansi with her while all wondered what happened with her.

"aj kal ye geet itni khichi khichi kyu rehti hai, naintara why don't you talk to her about that" said dadima thinking something is wrong with geet.

"ha dadima I had also noticed, since last week she is not being herself, pehle to pura din yhi rehti thi, mansi ke sath khelti rehti thi ya apke sath baithe rehti thi, aj kal to bas tution deke chali jati hai... khi uske ghar me koi problem to nhi hai??"

"aap baat karke dekhiyega bte unse" said dadima.

Maan too got worried listening then talk like that. What does they mean by she has grown distant, aisa kya ho rha hai uske saath.

After class when geet was about to leave, maan caught her again near his room and again pulled her in his room. Geet looked at him shock for a second then felt so much love seeing him this close after such long time. But again her mind became dominant and she started struggling against him, pushing him away.

"kya ho gya hai tumhe" he said getting shocked with her act.

"mujhe, mujhe kya hona hai..." she said trying to sound irritated.

"itni khafa khafa kyu ho"

"main nhi khafa kisi se, mujhe late ho rha hai, let me go" she said trying to go toward door but he held her in place.

"nhi, jab tak tum mujhe nhi batati kya hua hai, I wont... aj bhabhi bhi said ki tum chup rehti ho, bolo kya hua hai mere piche se"

"maan kuch nhi hua hai... just leave me and let me live in peace"

"peace!!! Tum to bilkul peace me nhi lagti... bolo kya hua hai"

"maan please mujhe jane do warna I will shout, mai sabko bula lungi yha"

He looked at her irritated and wondered what had made her so angry, why is she being so difficult today.
"aj sunna nhi chahogi jo tum itne din se sunna chahti thi, mujhe kehna hai tumse ki..."

But she cut him in mid, "ab wo baate maine nhi rakhti, mujhe kuch nhi sunna" and she just left leaving him shocked and confused with her act.

At night geet just looked out of the window as she cried to behave like that with him. She never wanted to do that with him but she cant face the refusal, she is scared way too much of that. Suhana came and placed her hand on her shoulder. Geet looked at suhana and hugged her tightly crying her heart out.

"dii ab bardash nhi hota... mai dubara kisi ko jate hue nhi dekh sakti"

"shh geet, ro mat... sab theek ho jaega" suhana caressed geet's hairs lightly, trying to sooth her.

"wo wapas aa gya aj London se"

"tune usko kha apne dil ki baat??"

"main nhi keh sakti, mai uske layak nhi... I don't want to be in his life"

"tu apne aap ko underestimate kar rhi hai geet, tu kisi se kam nhi hai"

"dii aap bhi janti hai I stand nowhere near him, khuranas will never accept me as their family member... and shi bhi hai I will just embarrass him in society"

"geet" geet just wiped away her tears and then said,

"I had decided, I am not going Khurana mansion any more, na jaungii na use milungii na ye dil use chahega"

"aisa nhi hota geet"

"jo bhi hota ho am not going KM again"

Next day when she woke up, she looked at the surrounding and got confused. Walls were red instead of white, the room was big as compared to hers and there was no window on her right!!! Huh!!! Suddenly the fuzziness of sleep left her and she realized she is not in her room. "ahhhaaahhh" she did the first thing she could think and screamed.

"shhh shh chup chup bilkul chup" shouted maan from the couch that was placed on the other side of the room and went back to his sleep.

Geet immediately got silent as she saw him in the room, but then what was he doing here was the first question. She stood up with the help of her crutches that was placed on the right side and moved near him and asked, "hum kha hai, mai yha kaise aayi"

"mai laya aur kya, ab mujhe sone do you didn't let me sleep whole night." She got more confused with his words.

"maan please tell me straight, all this is confusing me"

Sighing he stood up and sat properly facing her, "I kidnapped you!!!"

Her eyes grew wide as she said "what!!!"

"ab tumhe kya laga ki tum KM nhi aaogi to mai tumse baat nhi karunga, tumko yu asani se jane dunga specially after knowing you have same feelings for me which I have for you... no babe!!!"

"huh!!!"

"last night your dii told me that you had decided to leave km, upar se jis tarah you were behaving I got really worried, so I kidnapped you when all were sleeping from your house"

"you came into my house at night and no one knew, ho hi nhi sakta"

"geet you believe or not, you are kidnapped aur jab tak tum meri baat nhi sunti, meri baat nhi manti I am not letting you go"

"my foot!!! Am leaving from here right now"

"try jaan as much as you can, you are at a place which is 50 km away from city, yha koi vehicle nhi hai, koi network nhi hai... door lock hai how will you leave" he said folding his hand on his chest.

"maan you are behaving insane, you kidnapped me because I refused to listen you.. Are you mad or what!!!" she literally shouted and sat back on the bed her eyes clouding with tears.

He went near her and sat on bed near her and said, "ha I brought you here, not to force you or do anything wrong with you geet, I know my limits but we both need to talk to let away your insecurities, aur wo tumhare bhagne se nhi hoga..." he placed his hand on hers and said, "pata hai maine bhi bhagne ki bahut koshish ki, but see today am sitting here with you trying to make you talk".

He got up and then said, "there are few clothes for you in that bag, change karlo get freshen up, am waiting outside" he left saying that while she wondered what to do now.

Somewhere m with Geet.. i know tat she is right as she knows wat rejection can be and none of a normal person can feel it..

But somewhere she is wrong to as she would be just running away from it.. and Maan wahh wat an idea. kidnapped her so tat she cam hear and listen to him but wat will she do.. will she listen to wat he says.. will she be wih him

superb nehaseen . i loved it. wow maan kidnapped geet. 👏. i thing this is best way to understand geet. geet had lost of refusal thats why she is not able ot believe on any one. she is surrounded by lots of insecurities. i hope maan get success for making geet agree for marriage. very very exited for next dear😛
