Half an hour passed like same. Neither of two was ready to bend head down. Maan had been completely engrossed in his typing whereas Geet, she was engaged in thinking what should do actually. Maan being stubborn now she had taken it an open challenge as well, she was not at all ready to do what he had put demand before her. Geet was sitting with crossed legs position, with her chin resting over knuckle and elbow was angled straight on one of her knee. Sometime her fingers were playing piano against cheek or sometime, she was letting out big sigh but most of the time, went on glowering Maan through her big eyes and cursing him under breath.

Maan, time to time his eyes would catch a glimpse of her. "She didn't change a bit', he thought and chuckled. He loved her being stubborn, competing him.

"Where are you going', suddenly he found her going stood up. Geet said she is getting bore, going to get a book. Maan looked her bumbling toward the shelf had been placed on the far corner of the room. She took enough time to select and then removed out a thick hard covered book. Geet rumple her lips in annoyance and had to back to her previous place. She started reading the book.

After few minutes of silence, suddenly Maan fleeted voice stirred her ears. Narrowing those thin lines of her forehead she peeped up from the book, having to find him smiling, looking at the computer screen! "Why is he smiling?' She thought but then straightened up when Maan looked her. She pretended reading book again. But her mind had gotten another attention instead of the words written over the white pages. She once more, heard his hidden laugh. She slid book down from eyes and witnessed, his typing something on keyboard and he chuckled on something. He was indeed looking happy.

"What's making him so happy?' She was confused. How can he laugh over business related matter, she was thinking when suddenly, heard him whispering, "Love you baby!!' and he motioned a kiss over the screen.

Geet couldn't close her round opened mouth and forgot to blink even. Poor book found him-self flying over the bed at very next second and she was all ready to thundering over him, clenching the entire set of teeth firmly inside her mouth.

"Who were you talking?' she tried to be as calm as could but Maan did see she was boiling inside.

"Who Geet' he behaved innocent.

"Maan don't try innocent. I've seen you talking with someone, who was she?' She reached him, fair near.

"Oh She!! Um, my friend, from Canada. Why..,'

"Nope.. Nothing just like that' she calmly sat there like she was composed. By the way, what's her name?'

"Um.. Gloria..', he was just enjoying this argue with her, well knowing she was jealous.

"Grr, how can he take other girl name so easily before me!!' she wanted to pull all those thick dark hairs over his head.

"Good, Now tell me what was she doing late night.. With you!!',

"Geet, we were just chatting!!' he held her from waist slightly jerked near,"by the way Geet, why are you looking so, angry!!' his eyes read her face which were puffed in anger.

"Nothing' she tried to turn face side but Maan held her chin to make her facing him.

"You're hiding something, I know' his voice felt like silk that she couldn't stop her eyes to seek his. She wanted to ask every detail about the girl but then how could she interfere between his friends. That would look stupid.

"Tell me Geet' another jerk on her waist forced her to clasp his shoulder to balance her body, not to fall in his lap. She struggled to be back when again the lady inside his laptop sounded, "Love you to Maan good night'

Now the sight of Geet face was well worth to view for Maan. He couldn't decide should laugh on her grumbling or fear from her terrific temper. Geet advanced to hold laptop for checking who she was.

"Geet what are you doing!!' he lifted laptop up in air high from her level. He was intending to annoy her. His act increased her anger, she jumped on him to get hold of the machine but Maan arm was long enough to keep it safe and forced her to attempt again n again that she didn't notice, how close she had been sneaking in his territory.

"Maan show me who is she!!!'

He shook head laughing, trying enough to keep machine away from her so that she could attempt more forgetting their distance.

"Maan!!!.. let me see'

"Why should I Geet, who you are to me!!' he questioned intentionally catching good chance.

"I want to see!!'

"First tell me who are you to me!!'

Geet had not been heeding over what he said, she was just running on his created path. She stood up on bed to catch lappy when Maan put it down on bed-floor. She followed his action when Maan again elevated it up in air. He was leaving no scope to irritate her.

"Maan, why you don't want me to see her' she cried out in irritation as of why he was hiding. What could be the secret he didn't want her to know, that bothered her?

"I'll Geet but you would have to tell who you are to me!!

"I your wife dammit now let me see!!'

Sudden the air around Maan became so cool that his each nerve shivered in joy. Geet was still moving back and forth catching hold of laptop but world had stopped around Maan. His mind had stuck upon only one sentence what Geet uttered few seconds before. He tugged her closer suddenly that Geet fell in his lap facing him upward. Her hands clutched his shoulder in term that made to feel her breath stuck in throat.

"I want to hear it again', he spoke, completely drowning inside her hazels but Geet was unaware what had she said which he was wishing to hear again. She looked him frowned.

"What did you say, repeat it Geet' his face was dangerously bending down or he was pulling her head upward, Geet was confused but the distance was decreasing for sure. She suddenly felt herself breathing in domain of his warm breathe.

"Repeat!' he demanded.

"First you tell who she was? Why did you...' she stopped, wanted to say kiss her', but couldn't voice it out.

He shook head, repeating his demand, whilst Geet herself was resolute on her requirement.

"Repeat Geet who are you to me'

Geet was shocked, when she remembered how she had confessed, her face started showing the nervousness but, she could not forget his act altogether,

"I won't unless you tell me about her' she tried to get up from his lap. Maan spun swiftly seizing her body in his arms and now she was below him, laying on the smooth texture of pillow beneath her head. Geet felt highly surprised and shocked with this sudden turn of event. Feeling him lying so close, just beside her, filled her heart with strange terror that she found it suppressing down so tough. The heartbeat rate was scaring her and all of above, his whisper over her lips jolted every inch of her body with hardest thrill.

"Gloria is my friend's daughter and she is just eight' he smirked. Geet eyes lifted up to him and found him staring her with fixed gaze. Maan sought for relieve upon her expression but she was looking yet not so pleased.

"But why did you say you love her and why did you...'

Maan wanted to laugh on her statement which he guessed well. He was so shocked to know she was still jealous with a child. "Gosh, I can fall for her again n again!!'

"And what did I Geet..'

She was embarrassed to say why did he kiss her, but then her heart was still racing high bothering her mind.

"I what Angel?'..

She witnessed him coming downward. His breathes were flying over her lips. She started forgetting everything in a flash; everything begun to vanish out from her vision and her mind feeling on ease. She didn't want to run away this time. The thought of him loving anyone else, killed her inside. Whether it is any child or young but his confession should be for her only. Geet wanted to feel he was only hers. She had found him after having no expectation; he was crown of her head, couldn't have beard ruling anyone else over his mind and so, she wanted to let him drown in her.

Maan was expecting her to use her trick to escape away but when she didn't stir, in fact she was unmoved, even had closed down eyes in wait of his next step, his heart danced in joy. He had been waiting for this moment since years and now when she was there, just a gap below his heart became unnerved.

He caressed her face softly, letting her feel his presence despite having her shut eyes. His lips started slowly giving trail kisses everywhere on her face. He kissed her forehead, cheeks and reached to her mouth which was shivering terribly. He touched both edges of her mouth one by one, gave her time to adjust with this fresh experience. His lips then touched the fullness of her mouth which felt like feather, he couldn't stop for another second and turned this touch into a kiss, consumed her lips inside his mouth.
