Episode 41
A Trip To Trouble
Geet was silently looking down at her own hands, which is crushing her dupatta and not even looking at the views outside, she was not looking normal, she felt nervous, and praying that Maan should not ask any questions as yesterday, "Geet are you ok?" Maan asked troubled looking at her nervousness and silence.
"I am alright," Geet said hiding her nervousness, "Geet I thought you would be happy as I am coming to the trip, but you seem...," Maan paused and looked at her.
Geet felt that Maan is taking wrong meaning for her nervousness, "No sir, I am so happy that you came, and I am happy that you took a day off to relax in your busy life," Geet said smiling big this time,
"Then why are you silent like this," Maan doubtfully asked her, "Because you were silent", Geet replied immediately.
"Geet", He said in his usual angry tone making Geet looked shocked, "Geet," He called again reducing his tone, Geet looked at him, staring into his big eyes, glancing at her now and making her to lose herself into those beautiful dazzling eyes. Maan turned away breaking his stare on her,
"Sir, Have you been to that Nagger Castle before" Geet asked eagerly, trying to make the situation normal, Maan said no.
"You know sir, while seen I saw this castle in Jab We Met Movie I wished I could to see it someday, and I can't believe I am actually going to see it in real," Geet said smiling big, Maan just glanced at her with a grin and turn to see the road.
"Sir, have you seen that movie," She asked. And Maan said no and Geet asked why.
"Geet, I don't watch movies, these entertainment aspects will drink your time and mind, I hate wasting my time in distractive things which is not productive," He said, geet just nodded and turned around to look outside the window.

It was bright and shinning when they reached the place, it was crowded with tourists and there were many shops and stalls around. Actually Maan and Geet came before everyone else and so Maan called Adi and asked where they are and why they haven't reached yet as they started before them.
Adi said that they had stopped in the middle to have some food, and then said they will reach there soon, Maan said ok and cut the call, "What happened, Sir," Geet was looking at Maan waiting for answer.
"Geet they had stopped in the middle to have breakfast and they will be here soon, Hmm, Geet do you want something to eat, I think" Before Maan could finish, Geet said she is not hungry.
"Sir, are you hungry," Maan said no. "Sir, Can I get you black coffee", Geet asked again, and Maan said no.
Maan and Geet were standing there for five minutes and Geet was getting restless, she wanted to explorer the place and shops but she wasn't able to leave Maan alone too. So she stood with him.
Maan seeing Geet's restlessness and her eyes wandering here and there, asked her to go and take a look around until the bus arrive.
"Sir, please, can you too come with me, I am feeling uncomfortable to go there alone," Geet said slowly and Maan agreed and went with her, Geet smiled big as they went inside a stall with lots of small shops, Geet was so excited and started running here and there and looking at all the things. Maan was looking at her every expression, her happiness, her excitement, her smile, her charm, he knew he was falling for her, and he was resisting it,
He walked behind her as a shadow, his eyes glued to her, he looked at her standing in the accessories shops, trying everything there, she then took a bangle set and wore it and looked at it smiling but suddenly her smile disappeared and she removed the bangles and was saying something to the sells lady.
Maan went near her and asked what happened, but Geet said nothing.
"Geet, I asked you what happened," Maan demanded, "Sir that my purse is with Meera in the bus, thus I was saying to that lady that I will buy the bangles later, when Meera arrives." Geet said slowly.
Maan took out his wallet and gave the sells lady a hundred, and took the bangles lying there which Geet removed from her hand. Maan took Geet's hand without a word and started putting the bangles in her hand, Geet don't know how to react to his sudden act,
she was feeling a heat inside her, she was blushing high, his hands on her was so stubborn, pressing hard, but she didn't react but was just looking at him, Maan too was also looking at her, as he wore her the bangles, pushing it down her soft hands and feeling her hands, he purposefully pushed the bangles one by one slowly,
Geet felt an shiver, his eyes looking at her, his hand caressing her hand slowly, she felt like standing on the sun, and she felt like melting down, "Geet, need anything else," Maan words made her to realize that she was staring at him and she was still keeping her hands on his hands, even after he had finished his job. She pulled her hand from his and just nodded a no shyly and walked away blushing high.
"What can be more precious than this moment you gave me sir, you wore the bangles in my hand by with your hands", she looked at her hand and touched those bangles. And it was right timing when Maan and Geet came out of the stall and the bus too arrived.

Meera ran to Geet and hugged her and dragged her alone, as Adi joined Maan, Geet looked at Maan and went with Meera. "What happened?" Meera asked.
And Geet eyes welled up, Meera was shocked, "Geet, what happened, why are you crying, did Maan said something." Meera asked in wonder
Geet shook her head as no and showed Meera her hands, Meera looked at the bangles and looked at Geet confused, "Maan sir, bought it for me and he himself wore it in my hands," Geet said with the tears running from her eyes and smiling big,
"Oh, means this is tears of happiness," Meera said teasingly, "Meera, I feel like flying, I am so happy Meera, I can live an hundred years with this happiness in me." Geet said getting all emotional.
"Crazy, is this enough for you, don't you want to love him till the end, Marry him, walk hand in hand with him," Meera asked and Geet blushed and nodded a yes smiling between her happy tears, Meera wiped her tears away and pulled Geet and went around, but they made a point that they will be close in Maan view, so Geet can see him and Maan could as well view her. Geet would glance at him now and then and Maan too exchanging a slight smile.
Meera was having a great time watching this love filled couple, she would sometimes pull Geet away and make her to hide, and would see Maan turning curious and searching for Geet, sometimes she used to push Geet, when they walk near Maan, Making Geet to fall in his arms and staring at each other. Geet was blushing at day and Maan was having a grin whenever he saw her.

Lunch was already arranged by the Adi, and everybody had their lunch on the lane nearby, it was a perfect outdoor lunch with a perfect landscape in their background, after lunch they had a little games and song and dance. Maan was watching them enjoying, sitting a few yards away from them, with Adi on his side, after that they again went to the shopping stalls for purchasing,
Meera was busy buying accessories and stopped her naughtiness as Geet pleaded her and Geet was standing near the shawl shop. "Excuse me Miss," Someone called Geet, She saw a man standing near her, She asked what he want and he said his little girl was lost here.
He was pleading to her with his hands folding as if he was praying before her, "Please Mam, I love my daughter, please," He begged, Geet was so moved and she was so sad that she can't help him as she haven't seen any little girl around there,
Maan who was watching this from a distance felt strange, who is this guy and what is he talking with Geet, it seemed like he was begging and Geet was convincing him, the Man suddenly caught Geet's hand but to Maan's surprise, she didn't resist. Geet looked calm and pulled her hand and walked away and the guy sat on the ground tears filled.
Maan went to Geet and asked who he was and Geet said she doesn't know and Maan nodded and Geet went away and Maan too moved away.

Maan was standing outside the castle when someone dashed him, "sorry sir," he said and went away, Maan knew that guy, and he was one who was talking with Geet. Maan turned around and looked that the guy had dropped his wallet there; Maan took the wallet as he called for him, Maan opened the wallet to see any card holding that Man's name. But Maan was stunned when he looked inside,
Geet's picture was inside the wallet, and then the guy came running to him, "thank you sir, that's my wallet," the guy said as he got the wallet from Maan. "Excuse me, who is this girl," Maan asked pointing to Geet's picture in the wallet; his heart began to beat fast.
"She, she is my life, my love, my everything, my Geet," He said making Maan's head to spin high, the tears welled up in that guys eyes as he spoke up further, "this girl and I loved each other so much, one day we decided to run away from Amritsar as her family was forcing her to marry someone else, and she said she got some job in Manali so she said she will go first and then asked me to come after three or four weeks to avoid any doubt, I too did as she said, but now," he paused.
"But now, she is acting like she doesn't love me anymore, she said that she had found a new and better life, an better person than me and asked me to forget her and leave her alone, I even begged her and yet she was unmoved, I don't know how I will live without her but I will not disturb her too, I will live with this pain nor die but not will not forget her,"
"After all she is too a normal girl only know, Girls, they only see money, wealth and a well settled life, there is no meaning for love in their life, we guys are only stupid to fall for their trap and suffer at last, let her live happily at least, with the guy she loves," he said in a sorrow filled tone tears running like an falls from his eyes and moved away.
Maan was standing her frozen in time, his heart stopped beating, and his head was spinning. That Man's words echoed in Maan's ears, and sudden anger and frustration roused in him, he felt betrayed, cheated, and the pain was even more when he thought about Geet doing such a thing, Sameera's words came in to his minds mixing up with this guys words, how did I forget that Geet is too a girl, his mind cursed him and his heart was not ready to except that Geet could do something like this.

Geet, who was watching the guys speaking to Maan, came to him, "Sir, what was he saying" Geet asked causally, Maan's anger was even more heated up as he heard Geet's voice.
"The truth, about you", Maan answered coldly, the truth about me, Geet was confused.
Maan turned toward her suddenly and he was looking dead scary with his red eyes and hard look, "Geet, did you ran away from your home," Maan asked suddenly making Geet going to a shock, "How did you," Geet tried to ask,
"Yes or no," Maan yelled, making the people around them look at them, "Yes," Geet said feared,
"Why?" He asked, Geet was silent, except her tears rolling from her eyes in fear, "Why, because your family were forcing you for a marriage," He asked roughly, Geet was shocked and looked at him, How did he know this, and why now, and why is he anger,
"Geet, I am asking you, is this the reason," He yell again and Geet said yes, Maan confirmed that the guy was telling the truth,
"Sir", Geet started to speak, "Enough Geet, enough of your fake drama," Maan said angrily with a pain filled tone and walked away making Geet to stare at him, with a tear filled eyes, and a confused mind. What happened?
Meera who was searching for Geet, found her sitting on a beach crying like hell, She was confused, she went and called her, Geet immediately stood up and hugged her, and started crying more, Meera convinced her and asked what happened and Geet too said everything.
Meera too got confused, how did he knew these things, that too here, and why is he angry, but first she thought of comforting Geet, just then Adi came to them and said Maan had left the place without a word.
This news made Geet's condition more worse, he was angry on her but for what she thought and started crying, Meera said it is normal for Maan to get angry and then to come behind Geet to ask for forgiveness, and she comforted her and took her to the bus, Geet sat near Meera and kept her head on Meera shoulders and was thinking about what happened few minutes ago.

As they reached the cottage, Meera asked Geet to freshen up and said that she will prepare something for her to drink, Geet went inside and started changing her dress, and as she went to removed the bangles, which Maan wore her, she started to cry again,
That was an beautiful moment and she never imagined that this beautiful day would end like this, all the smiles, looks and happiness, would vanish like this, why did it happened, she removed the bangles and hold it in her hands and was looking at it,
Meera came with the tea tray and saw Geet crying holding the bangles, she felt so sad for her, why is this always happening for her, she went near Geet, and took the Bangles from her and kept on the dressing table and made her to sit on the bed, and was holding her,
"Geet, everything will be ok, I think there is some misunderstanding, you see, tomorrow Maan will come to you and will ask sorry for his act, as always, if not, you go and ask why did he do so, ok, everything will be ok, your god would let you down, and remember, whenever you feel low, Maan will always come to save you right, so this time too, that will only happen, trust me and relax," Meera's words helped Geet to calm down to an extended.
She too wish that it would be alright in the morning, she prayed and went to her bed, still with tears and confusion.
Episode 42
Bleeding Hearts
Maan was roaring like a lion in his room that guy's words were piercing his heart.
"I don't know how I will live without her but I will not disturb her too, I will live with this pain nor die but not forget her, Girls, they only see money, wealth and a well settled life, there is no meaning for love in their life, we guys are only stupid to fall for their trap and suffer at last, let her live happily at least,"
His words slapped his faced, he was too an stupid guy who had fallen for her trick.
And he didn't lie as Geet herself accept the fact of running away from home to escape a marriage, why did she do so, is she that low to throw a guy whom she loved for a guy with wealth,
His heart was still fighting with his logical mind that Geet is innocent, she could not do such a thing, to suppress his heart's words he was drinking continuously, three bottles of alcohol had gone inside his body and yet no effect was created, as his angry burning inside him more furiously.
"Maan, not me but there is no other girl in this universe who could bear your attitude and behavior and if at all a girl loves you it will be just only for your money or your hotness, remember it," Sameera's words echoed, she is right, all girls are alike, all girls are alike, no difference in them, no difference, Maan screamed high.
Geet cheated me, even to think that his heart ached, She made me to fall again with her dazzling eyes, he thought he loved her, and he thought she too love him just for him, but now it was all an another drama, another fall for him, another mistake he made, he went and opened the draw and took the rose which he once took with him, the rose which made her smile, he looked at it,
He can only see her smiling face in it, he held and crashed it making it's dry petals' to fall apart, it's softness was hurting him, showing him his weakness, everything and everything around him is just a lie, and nothing more, just lie, he took another bottle and drank it fully, allowing it to burn his throat, and trying to suppress his heart which was showing him, her pretty face, sweet smile, her dazzling eyes,
No, No, Maan Singh Khurana will not be fooled again, Thank god, he didn't fall openly, his fall was known only to him, and not even to Geet, good, he will not make the world realize his second fall, his defeat for the second time, he will not, he will correct his mistake this time, he decided as he rushed out of the room.

Geet was feeling nervous and was sitting inside her cabin, it was 10 and Maan haven't come yet, Geet was feeling restless, and she called Meera and asked her to come to the office as she was feeling so restless,
Meera said she will come soon, Geet kept her receiver down, and again she prayed and dialed Maan's number, but Maan didn't attend her call, she was so worried and feared, the photo was ringing and ringing but no response, Geet then went to Adi's room and asked Adi to call Maan, may be he will attend Adi sir's Call, she thought.
Adi called and there was only same reaction, no one answered, Geet then called the Maan's landline number and a servant took the call, "Hello," He answered,
"Hello is Maan sir home," Geet asked, "ji mam, Maan sir is in the house," He replied. "Can I speak to him," She asked.
"No mam, Maan sir haven't came out of his room yet, he haven't even un locked his room," the servant said, Haven't come out of the room, Geet said ok and cut the call, "what's going on here, what happened, what would be the reason for his anger"
Everything was ok yesterday, until Maan asked about her run away history and also the reason, and why is Maan angry on her for this, she was confused, she hit the chair and was looking blank, she felt like screaming.

It was almost 11 when Meera came, and Maan haven't came yet, Geet said everything about the phone conversation, Meera looked puzzled, why is Maan acting so strange, Meera then asked Geet to say what happened yesterday, And Geet said everything, suddenly something clicked in Meera's mind.
"Wait a minute, what guy?" Meera asked, "The guy who was asking about his daughter, I saw him talking with Maan sir, thus I went to ask about that guy and thus Maan sir got angry," Geet said and her eyes welled up.
Meera comforted Geet and yet she can't remember any guy who was asking for his missing daughter, strange his just asked, Geet and Maan, and no one else, is it some coincidence or..
Meera said she will be back and went and asked some guys and girls in the office who came yesterday with them, whether anyone saw any guy who was searching for his daughter yesterday, but everyone said no, Meera felt something is not right. "God, please, solve this problem soon, can't see Geet like this, why are you doing this to her, she truly believing you and you are always giving her trouble,"
Meera went inside the pantry to get something to drink and when she enter, Sasha was inside, speaking with someone, "yes, your money will be transferred to your account and ah, remember you should stay away from Manali at least for another six months, if Maan Sir see's you again, then it will be a big problem, ok." Sasha was speaking and as she saw Meera she cut the call immediately and went out.
Weird, why did she cut the call as I came in who was she speaking with, never mind, what's going on with Geet, Meera thought as she got her drink, and went out.

It was almost 12 when Maan moaned and turned in his bed, his head was paining like hell and his eyes were burning and was not allowing him to open it, thanks to the four full bottles of dry alcohol he drank yesterday, his throat was burning and as he try to get up without opening his eyes, and with an guess he went into the washroom.
He struggled and found the tap and turned the valve and got some water in his hand and splashed it on his face, the chill water did it's work of refreshing him, when he felt better he opened his eyes, he looked at himself in the mirror, his reflection was cursing him,
"Even after doing an mistake and knowing it's pain and suffering how could you be so foolish to doing the same mistake again, the great Maan Singh Khurana, just a big fool, was ready to fall for a those shining eyes and sweet lips and drown by desire, and forgetting that she is too a girl," the mirror reflection spoken in a sadistic tone, Maan turned around and went out.
As he reached the stairs he yell at his servants to bring him his coffee, and went in, just then he saw his mobile, 20 missed calls from Adi, 30 calls from Office, must be from Geet, she must be worried as I didn't come to the office, he thought, why, this same care had made me fall for her, but the guys voices echoed again and Geet herself had accepted that she had run away from home to escape an marriage making the guy's words true.
Maan's phone peeped again and he looked at it, it was from Mr.John, "Hello Mr.Khurana, Good Afternoon," John's happy voice spoken as Maan attend the call.
"Mr.Khurana, I just called to confirm today's meeting time, we are having the meeting at noon 2 right?" John's words made Maan to realize about today's meeting, "yes Mr.John, it's at Noon 2," Maan said, and after a formal good bye he cut the call.
He hated to go to the office and see Geet, but he can't let his feelings and emotions cause problem to his business, so he started to get ready for Office.

Geet was relieved as Maan had called Adi to ask him to check for the meeting arrangements, thank god he is alright, but he is still angry on her, as he had called Adi instead of her, But never mind, She made the arrangements and waited for Maan.
It was Noon 2 and Mr.John had came and was waiting for Maan in the Conference hall, Geet and Adi were waiting outside for Maan, and Maan came after few minutes and both Geet and Adi wished him, Geet's voice gave him Pain but he didn't show it out. "Adi take the Mumbai presentation files and come inside," He said and went inside.
Then Both Geet and Adi came inside the hall, and Maan who was talking with Mr.John saw Geet holding the files, "Adi, I asked you, to bring the files, and I don't want anyone else other then the people working on this project in this room," Maan yelled, even scaring Mr.John.
Geet somehow knew that he was mentioning her, so she handed the files to Adi and started to move out. "Ms.Geet why are you going out, are you not in this project," Mr.John asked surprised.
Geet stopped and looked at Maan, "Mr.John, she is just an internee and will go away from this office, after this Manali project, and so she will not be in this project, her connection with the Khurana's will be ended with this Manali project, forever." He stressed the last word, and Geet felt a pain like someone had shoved an knife straight into her heart, Geet moved out Immediately,
Seeing her go in pain gave the same pain to Maan but he thought she deserves it for cheating him and he deserve it for falling for her, and he turned around and started the meeting. Adi was standing besides Maan, not knowing what's happening, around him.

Geet went to her cabin; tear's running for her eyes, Meera who was sitting in Geet's cabin, stood up as she saw Geet's condition, Geet flew into the waiting arms of Meera and cried, saying what Maan had said, "Meera, I still can't understand, why he is so angry, that he is wants me away from this office, I can't bear this," She cried.
Meera made Geet to sit and gave her some water to drink and said that not to worry and to ask Maan himself when he comes out. Geet too wiped her tears and waited for Maan, hiding her pain.
Maan came out, and rushed away, looked like he was leaving, "Meera, Maan sir, is leaving now, now how will I ask him," Geet said disappointed.
"Geet, do one thing, looks like Maan is going towards the lift and you too go into the lift and just press the stop button and ask Maan what you wanted to ask" Meera said, "But Meera what if Maan sir, avoided me, and didn't speak to me and he moves out," Geet asked feared.
"That we will see later, now just go," Meera urged Geet, and Geet too nodded and went towards the lift, and Meera too rushed out and ran down stairs, to the power room.
Maan was standing in the lift turned around pressing the 0 button and so he didn't see Geet getting in and Geet pressed the stop button as Meera said, which made Maan turn around and see Geet.
His anger rose up as he saw her and turned away, "Geet, what the hell are you doing," Maan yelled, scaring Geet, "What do you want?" Maan yelled again.
"Answers, some reasons" Geet answered and the pain in her words were cleanly seen, "what Answers and reasons" Maan shouted. "Why are you angry on me, what did I do," Geet pleaded.
Maan had no heart to answer and feared that he might lose his temper and hurt her if he speaks long with her, so he pushed her aside and pressed the lift button, but there was no reaction. "Damn, the power had gone," He shouted and kicked the lift's closed door.
"Right, at least now you can tell me what did I do know sir, please sir tell me what did I do, you have all the rights to get angry on my but please say the reason, or punish me as you like, but say me the reason," Geet compelled and went near Maan, Maan moved away from her.
"You know what you did, you cheated, you betrayed, and now you are asking me?" Maan shouted again but there was pain in his words now. "Cheated? Betrayed? What are you talking about sir, what is this all about? Please sir, tell me, tell me," Geet too raise her voice,
That's all Maan could hold, He caught Geet and push her on to the steel surface, hurting her back, "You want to know, ah, you want me to say how you acted and made me fall for you, you want me to say that all your innocence and cuteness are not sweet but venomous to kill me, you want me to say that you heart is so cruel to leave a guy whom you loved for another guy, just for money and fame,"
"Tell me, Geet, do you want me to say how you throw a guy whom you loved and for whom you left your house and ran away to Manali, and now as you got someone with name and fame you have thrown him away, I knew you told him so, keeping me in your mind, I know, but Maan Singh Khurana is not a fool to fall for your innocent smiles plays, for your fake caring and for your false love drama,"
"I knew you girls are all same, taking advantage of others, you knew only the value of money, and nothing else, Geet, I knew, if I had been an ordinary person with no money and Fame, you would not even looked at me, and who knew, even if I had fall for you, and loved you, there is no guarantee that you will not go away with another person who has more money, as you can love as many as you can for money and even share bed with.."
"Enough" Geet shouted aloud, pushing Maan away, and closed her ears, "enough, enough, please," She cried, the tears were running like an flood, she still can't believe anything he said, though she wasn't clear of what he said and understand nothing what he said, one thing was clear and that killed her, he had called her feelings and love for him as fake, as a drama and as a play to make him fall for her",
She sat down on the lift floor, her eye was pouring our tears and her heart was bleeding with blood. Maan was standing and holding the wall.
Meera looked at her watch, ok five minutes over, and she turned the power on. Maan rush in to the office again as the lift power was on, Geet sat there crying and crying holding on to the lifts floor.

Meera who came up, saw Geet sitting and crying inside the lift, "Geet," Meera rushed in and pulled her up, As Geet was crying so badly, she looked like a mess, Meera thought it was no good to take her like this into the office, so she dragged Geet into the girls Room and locked the door, Geet didn't say a word but she was crying and crying and crying,
Meera made her sit on the chair and wiped her tears and asked her what happened, but Geet was not able to think or say anything all she knew and could think was Maan said she was cheating on him, he doubted her character, her love for him, whenever the thought raised her heart bleed more, giving her the intolerable pain,
Meera held her and try to pull her back to sense, she shook her up, "Geet, please, hold on to yourself, look at me, Geet," Meera pleaded, she was scared to see Geet, who was looking straight and frozen in time, She took some water from the glass and splashed on Geet's face, trying to pull Geet back to sense, and it worked, Geet slightly turned and saw Meera.
Geet hugged her immediately and start to cry, Meera's heart was aching seeing Geet, she hugged her back and rubbed her back, trying to console, "Geet, it's ok, please, control, I am there,"
Meera after a few minutes pulled herself away and asked what happened, Geet after holding herself, tried to speak but her voice was blocked, Meera gave her some water to drink, and Geet drank it, still her voice was not cleared, her voice sounded like she had been affected by cold for months,
"Meera, Meera," she struggled to speak in midst of her tears and crying, Meera held her hands, "Ma... Maan sir.. said I had... I had cheated him... I was acting... this long...he said... my love was just... Just a,,,, play.. to get... His money... He insulted my characters... and... And my love for him," Geet struggled and yet finished and started crying.
"Maan said this but why, why did he say so," Meera asked, "I don't know, I don't know," Geet cried out loud.
Meera consoled her and made her to relax, and ask her to wash her face first and said they can go to their place afterwards, and said she will go and get Geet's bag, as she refresh. Geet stood up, but her body turned weak as her heart, she was walking with difficulty.
Then Meera went up to Geet's cabin, what the hell is happening, Meera thought of yesterday, the fun he was having in teasing Geet and playing with Maan and Geet, Maan looking at Geet with a grin, and she is sure that his eyes showed his love for Geet, then the bangles, After too they were happy, then what happened.
She saw Maan walking in his cabin as Meera entered Geet's cabin. Maan's suffering were clearly seen, he is in pain, this made Meera's head spin, why is he doing like this, hurting himself and also Geet, it's clear that he is having the same pain as Geet, then why, what is making him to do this, why is he suffering like this and also making her to suffer. Maan just then went out.

The Truth
As Meera was taking Geet's things in Geet's cabin, Adi came in and asked for Geet, Meera said what happened, and it hurt Adi to the core, "Adi Sir, what Maan sir did was not at all right, he shouldn't have insulted Geet like this, she is so hurt," Meera said with anger.
"No Meera, if Maan sir, did like this means, something must have happened, I knew Maan Sir, so well, He really liked Geet, I have seen it myself, if he hurts her means, he must have been hurt himself badly," Adi argued. "That I too can see Adi sir, he is also hurt, but..."
Meera throw the bag and sat on the chair nearby, "that's what I don't understand, Maan sir, was so ok yesterday in the morning and also in the noon, in fact he had presented her bangles and wore it all by himself, and then I don't know suddenly what happened, Geet said he suddenly asked about her run away from home and the reason behind it, and I don't see how it is related to his anger and calling her a cheater," Meera said frustrated.
There was a silent for two minute, "no use in guessing and confusing, I am going to ask Maan sir, himself," Meera got up.
"Meera no, it's not right," Adi stopped her. "No Adi sir, I can't let this go on, I can't see my friend suffer like this in pain, it's enough, and I need to know the truth." Meera said and went out of the room.
Adi rushed behind her, trying to stop her.

Maan was standing in the conference room, he was burning with anger and hurt with pain, why every time it has to be me, he thought, he removed his tie and coat and throw it away and removed his collar buttons, he felt like suffocating to breathe,
Meera entered with a fury which overcame her fear for Maan, she needs to do it for Geet, it's her duty as a friend, even if Maan's anger burns her up, Meera went and stood before Maan who was looked pained himself and Adi followed her,
"Sir, I need to talk," Meera spoke out, Maan looked at her, she always used to have a smile and happiness in her eyes but today there was only anger. "Not now," He said and turned around.
"No I need to talk now, how dare of you to insult Geet like that, she is silent, and that doesn't mean that you can hurt her whenever you think," Meera yelled,
"Meera," Maan shouted, "please sir, I need an answer why did you say she cheated you, why did you insult her feelings like that, every time you give her pain but too she only came toward you, run and caring just for you,"
"No, No, she was only after my money and fame," Maan shouted, Adi got shocked by his answer and Meera's anger provoked up, "Hell with your money and fame" Meera yelled out,
"Who told you that, how did you know about her heart, who told you about her character," Meera yelled again, "Her lover", Maan yelled back putting Meera to shock, her lover?
"I met her lover, whom she loved in Amritsar, for whom she ran away from home, whom she ditched for a better life," Maan spoke in pain, Meera was puzzled. Adi was confused, Geet could never do such a thing, Meera stood there confused, puzzled, Geet's lover, Meera just then remembered Geet saying that about an guy asking for his daughter and then about he talking to the Maan, something clicked in.
There was silence there, Meera turned to see Geet standing on the doorway of the hall, totally shocked, my lover? Her head was spinning. Meera knew how Geet would feel now, Geet came and stood near Maan, Maan was looking on the other side, and Meera felt like she found the missing piece in this puzzle, she went out from there.

Adi too went out leaving Geet with Maan, Maan turned around to see Geet, she was looking at him puzzled, he believed someone else words, he doubt my love because someone else lied to him.
Maan looked at her, his anger had abit reduced as he had yell out all his angry in words, her eyes was red due to the crying, her face worn out, "You believed someone unknown and doubted me", Geet asked her pain in her words stricken him.
"You believed a lie, and started trusting the words of a stranger," Geet asked again a bit loud.
"Geet don't try to fool me, he was not lying, at first I saw you talking with that guy and then when I asked you, you said you don't know him, then I saw your photo in his wallets and he said you both loved each other and then he said that you run away from your home to escape an marriage and to marry him, and now you told him that you got a better life and ditched him, I didn't believe him firstly, I called you and asked you and you too said the same."
Maan went near her and hold her arms and "Geet, why in a world should a guy come all the way there to lie about you, an stranger as you said, why should he say about you to me and what will he get out of it, and if you say you don't know him, how did he say about you your past, how?" Maan asked pressing her arms tightly, giving her pain and left her hand and turned around,
"Why Geet, why should he tell like that" Maan asked without turning, without looking at her.
"For you question, she will answer" Meera came in hauling Sasha with her and pushed her inside the hall.
Maan turned around puzzled to hear Meera's voice and Geet looked at her in shock, and Sasha was shivering and shaking there,

"Why don't you tell them Sasha, how that guy came there and how he knew about Geet?" Meera spoke in a cold threatening tone. Sasha looked around and saw Maan looking at her confused.
"I don't know what you are talking about", Sasha said innocently, which irritated Meera to the core, she lost her temper and pulled Sasha and slapped her hard on the face.
Maan was shocked and wasn't able to believe what he just saw, before he could get to sense, Meera slapped her again hard, and Sasha fell right under Maan's legs. "Meera," Maan called.
"She is responsible for everything," Meera yelled and then she turned to Geet, "I already warned you to say about her and her act of locking you up in the archives, but you never listened now see what this bi*** had done," Meera yelled. And looked at Sasha who was lying down, holding her cheeks, and looking at Geet and Meera with fury, she pulled her up and asked her again to tell the truth and raised her hand to hit her more, but before that,
Sasha yelled, "Yes, I did it, I did everything, I did everything, I hate her, I was the one who wanted to be with MK, I am one who was right for him, but this Geet had ruined everything, everything, and I tried everything to destroy her, I arranged for the guys to take care of her on the first day itself, then I tried to lock her up in the site's office, and then the girls room and the archives but every time, again and again, she was save by MK, so I decided to get her away from MK first, that's why I arranged a guy and set him to act like that."
"And I would have been succeed if Meera haven't hear my conversation on the phone today," Sasha finished, but she was not shamed, there was only vengeance in her heart. Maan was hearing everything with a shock, he turned to Sasha, his eyes burning in anger, "Sasha, Get out from here before I rip your head off and I don't want to see you face ever again," Maan spoke between his teeth,
"But MK, I just did everything for you," Sasha said, Maan turned around and his eyes looked like a volcano's Red Lava. "Get out now," Maan roared and Sasha got scared and left from there.
"Now do you see Sir, all the mistake was Sasha's she was the..." Meera tried to explain, but Geet stopped her, "Leave it Meera, No need to explain,"
Meera stopped and went away leaving Maan and Geet alone.

Maan was standing there feeling Guilty, what an big mistake he had done, Maan Singh Khurana who never feared for anything, Feared now to face Geet, he felt ashamed, he had lost his courage.
"Now I think you understood that I was not lying, I was not acting, not cheating you, right sir," Geet spoke, and her each word gave him pain.
"Thank you" Geet said and turned to leave, "Geet," Maan stopped her.
"Geet, I," Maan started to say, when Geet turned towards him, "what did I do Sir, what mistake did I do, why did you give me this punishment, how could you think that, I was acting for your money, do I look that cheap, what did you say I would not have cared you or liked you if you are an normal person." Geet asked, Maan was just looking away avoiding her pure eyes.
"When you me saved for the first time, I don't know who you are, yet I trusted you, when you saved me in the hotel, I don't know, who you are, but still I respected you, when you save me in the lake, I don't know who you are but still I liked you guts, and when I knew who you are, I only saw you dignity, your soft heart inside this rough figure, your humanity and your care, not your money and fame," Geet's eyes welled up but there was no pain in it, there was only anger in it.
"Geet," was all Maan could say, Maan's words were echoing in her heart, in its each beats, she went near him and held his shirt, "did it looked like an act for you, that's what you see in my eyes for you, lying, how did you believe someone else's words, with proof or without, this is what my care for you meant, just an drama, this was what my act of closeness to you meant, an act to make you fall, This is what you see in my eyes and lips and in my heart which is beating only for you," Geet asked shaking him holding his shirt tightly, tears running from her eyes.
"Yes, I love you, do you hear me, I love you, and it's not for the money or fame, I just loved you," Geet shouted in anger and pain as she shook him more holding his shirt. "But I can't bear this pain, I can't stay with you anymore, I had enough, I can't take it anymore," She cried and slide from his chest and dropped on the floor, crying as her energy dropped from her totally.
Maan who was burning inside, felt a pain down to his soul, he pulled Geet up slowly by her shoulders and made her to face him, Geet removed his hand, and wiped her tears, "Now, it's clear that my love for you is pure, that's all I wanted you to know, now I am going away from you forever, please don't try to stop me, good bye Sir," Geet said and went away without waiting for Maan's reply.
Maan was standing there not knowing what to do. For the first time, tears rolled down his cheeks, his heart pained, he never cried before, not in any situation, but today the tears flowed down and he didn't stop it. He deserves it, he thought. Just then he realized, Geet had left him,
No he can't let her go, no, he will never ever let her go away from his life again, no, he will not lose her love, her care, her affection, no, he run out to Geet's Cabin, but she was not there, and Maan went and asked Adi and he said Geet and Meera went away.

Maan rushed to her cottage, Geet was packing her things and Meera was standing there not knowing what to do, as Geet had said that she has to go, Meera was thinking how to stop her but don't know how.
Meera phone rang just then and it was Maan, Meera went away from Geet's room and attended the call, "Meera, where is Geet?" Maan voice spoke out high.
"Sir she had decided to leave from here, she is packing her things," Meera said, "Meera, stop her, do something, but don't let her go, I am coming now," Maan said.
"But Sir, how" Meera asked confused, "please Meera, stop her" Maan pleaded. Meera said yes, she can feel the pain in Maan's voice and first time she heard him saying the please word, she promised that she will somehow hold Geet her until he come.
Meera had to stop Geet, for Geet, for Maan, Meera knew that Geet is now upset but she can't be happy without Maan, She went to Geet's room.
"Geet, please, just for once," Meera started, "Please Meera, enough, I loved him truly, and how easily he said that it was all just an act, if he can't feel the truth in my love and care, what can I do, I can't take it Meera, he had insulted my Character I tolerated but now, he had insulted my love, my feelings for him, I can't tolerated it," Geet said, her tears rolling down, out of the pain.
"Geet, look you are 100% right, but think of him, you know his previous incidents na, this decision must have been made due to that only, maybe his preconceived notion about girls had made him to think so, and out of that he had spoken like that," Meera tried her best.
"Meera you are thinking about him now, and don't you understand how I feel now," Geet asked looking at Meera,
"Geet I am not saying this because of him, I am saying this, think about you only, I know how much you love him and I know you would suffer a lot if you leave him behind, Geet, you can't stay away from him, you love him so much," Meera pleaded.
"Yes, Meera I loved him so much, I can't live without him, but it was all until he doubted my feelings for him, now I have no love but just pain, I will suffer with the pain he gave me, but I think that's what written in my fate, that I need to suffer in pain, thinking about him," Geet said as she packed her things.
Meera turned around to see Maan entering the doorway, Meera saw him and walked to him, and nodded once, showing him Geet's room and went out.

Maan went towards her room, "Meera, My towel," Geet said and looked up to see Maan standing there, Geet knew why he had come, She went out of the room crossing Maan and went and took her towel hanging on the string and came back,
"Geet," Maan started to speak, really not knowing how to convince her but he had to stop her somehow,
"Geet, I am.. I am.. Sorry, I was," Before Maan could speak further, Geet stopped him, "No sir, no need for sorry, it's not your mistake, Mistake was mine, mistake was mine, I should not have kept my caring and affection on you, knowing that I am not fit for you and I should not have tried to make you realize my feelings for you, Mistake was mine."
"Geet, listen I was angry and thus," Maan started again, "Sir, I don't care about your angry or your words, what hurt me was your thought about me, how did you think like that, you insulted my feelings, my emotions, I can't bear that, I can't have anymore, please leave me alone,"
"You saved my life and gave me a new life and now, you even killed me by your words, ripped my heart out and left me bleeding,. Now at least I can leave peaceful with this pain, you have given me, but you don't worry sir, I will not die, because I am already dead, your words had killed me already," Geet said, her tears rolling from her cheeks,
Maan was unable to speak, his heart beating fast, repeating one thing, don't let her go. Don't let her go. Stop her, stop her somehow...
Episode 44
Attitude Winning Anger.
Geet tried to go away when Maan blocked her way, "Geet, I did the mistake and why are you taking the punishment, why do you want to go away, this is how strong your feelings are for me, leaving me behind for a mistake, how much big it might be," Maan stopped her,
Geet turned away again and tried to move, Maan who doesn't know how to convince her, as he don't know to speak pleadingly or emotionally, he started to get angry, as it's his only comfortable way of showing his feelings. He caught her arms and pulled her in front of him.
"Geet, you said you love me, and then you are saying about leaving me, what kind of love is this" Maan asked in an angry tone, Geet pushed his hands and released herself,
"Yes, I loved you but that love was dead, in that moment when you doubted it, the moment you insulted it, the moment when you ripped my heart, the moment when you killed my soul, how could you except love from a soulless being, sir," Geet words were crushing his souls giving him the pain of dead.
He closed his eyes and thought he could never convince her like this; he had to do in another way, in his style. He inhaled a huge gasp of air,
"Geet, finally I am asking you this for the last time, I am sorry for my mistake, that's it, and I had given you pain, and I understand that you don't love me anymore, ok, I don't need your love either," Maan spoke, making Geet look at him puzzled, her anger and pain was overcome by confusion, the way his tone is, no pleading and no angry yet clear and stubborn, Typical MK Style.

"Ms.Geet Handa, I didn't give you the job for loving me, or confusing me, you had been a trouble for me and you are, till now, but I don't care, I hate to bring my personal feelings in to the business nor into my company, I don't care whether you have any feelings or hates on me, you had be selected to work with me in this project and thus we had a deal."
"If you want to leave, you are free to go after this project is over, not before that, and after the project is over, you can go away from here, I will not stop you, until then you have to be here, understand." Maan said in a sadistic tone, surprising Geet, he was provoking her ego, her anger and pain is vanishing now and her heart was feeling something else.
"Sorry sir, I am not a heart less freak to hide my feelings and emotions like you and work with you, I don't care about the deal, I will cancel it now," Geet said stubbornly.
"Geet, you are right, I am an heart less freak, and if you cancel your deal, I will Cancel your degree along with it, and you will not be able to work anywhere in this world without my Permission," Maan said with a devilish grin, Geet was shocked; she had never seen him like this.
"You can't do so," Geet said struggling with shock, "Ms.Geet Handa, Maan Singh Khurana can do anything and everything he wished to do, not even the gods could stop me," He said with the same pride stressing his words,
"The choice is yours Ms.Geet, work with me till the project ends or leave from here now without an degree and live without a job for ever, the degree you got out of your hard work will be just an ash if you move away now," Maan threaded, his words never failed to give a shiver and fear in Geet's heart.
She didn't expect this from Maan, no never, she can't even imagine that Maan could speak like this, is this the Maan she knew, she looked at him surprised.
"You have till tomorrow morning, to decided, if you are working with me then come and start your work tomorrow, or came and cancel your deal and go away, with a confidence that you won't get any job anywhere and you degree will be cancelled immediately," He said as he rushed away from there, Geet was looking at him shocked with her wide eyes,
"Geet, don't think I am calling you because I am sorry , or because I have some feelings for you , it's only business, no other personal feelings in it, and I don't care how you feel or what you feel about me, I just don't care about you, just do your work, get your salary and go away" He said before he vanished behind the door

Maan went out and found Meera standing there outside, she had heard everything but she was looking at him puzzled, confused. Maan understood her look.
"Meera, I don't know how to convince her, thus I spoke like that, I knew Geet still loves me and she is upset now, I can't let her go, Meera, you too talk with her and make her stay somehow, balance I will take care," Maan said and turned away.
"Maan sir," Meera called him, "you will not hurt her again right?" She asked.
"Meera, trust me," Maan said firmly and nodded once and went away.
Meera went in to see Geet sitting on the couch as a statue, She was shocked, she can't believe what he said, he threatened her, blackmailed her,
Meera went and sat near her, "Meera, Maan sir," Geet spoke, Meera held her hands, "Geet I knew, I heard everything, and I don't think he is just kidding,"
Geet looked at Meera, "yes Geet, Maan can do as he said, I think it's better you finish this project and then leave, anyway, the project it almost over and ah, why you should lose your hard earned degree because of him, just two months. we both can go and join in some other company together, my dad can arrange for it, and he said that he doesn't care about your feelings openly and it's only professional relationship and you too said you don't love him anymore, then what's the problem."
"Geet do you think you will not be able to hold on to your emotions if you are being with him," Meera asked innocently.
"No Meera, I don't love him anymore, no," Geet said in a stubborn tone, "then why do you think this much, go to the office, work as usual and in two or three months this project will be over, then you can go away, and look for an better job, that's it so simple." Meera said and Geet stood up and walked for a while here and there and said ok.

Maan went to his practice hall, his mind was paining, what he did was wrong, he ruined everything, he ruined an happy smiling girls heart, he ruined her love for him, her innocence had been burned in his anger,

Maan then remember her eyes filled with love and care in the dargah, in this same empty space, the care when he had not been well, Maan caught his head, pressing it hard, suppressing its pain, how did I thing that she was acting after all the care and love she gave me, He thought.
"Yes, I love you, do you hear me, I love you," Geet anger voice echoed, how foolish I am, that I can't read her heart, which was clean as mirrors, her love was pure as herself, why Maan, why,
"Yes, I loved you but that love was dead, in that moment when you doubted it, the moment you insulted it, the moment when you ripped my heart, the moment when you killed my soul, how could you except love from a soulless being," Geet's words echoed again.
"No Geet, I will not let your love die like that, no, I know you still love me and can't hate me, I will make you realize that, I will make you to say that you love me, I will make your pain vanish, I will make your heart beat for me, I will bring back your happy soul, it's the promise of Maan Singh Khurana"
"Whatever it may take for me to do, I will do to get you back, I will bring back your love for me, I will make you say that you love me and say that you will not go away from me, I will not let you go Geet, I will not, I will not let anyone come between us",
Maan promised himself, and his words echoed in that empty space, reaching high to the sky, tearing the clouds as a thunder.

Morning sun hit Geet's opened eyes, she haven't slept yesterday, she was feeling restless, her anger for Maan had been vanished, as her heart itself was debating itself against her decision, her heart was saying Meera's words, his past experience with a girl he loved had created an bad image thus, he had acted like that, and who would not have a doubt when someone comes and say him, about her personal life details, with her photo,
But Geet's mind was not ready to except it, it still said her not to forgive him, he had insulted her love and feeling for him, what happened in his past was not her mistake and after knowing her well, he shouldn't have doubted her.
Her heart reminded her the times he saved her again and again, and her mind showed her the times when he made her cry and insulted her, Geet stood up and walked towards the window,
"god, how will I face him now, with these kind of mindset," she thought, "But no problem, I will not show him my feelings, I don't love him anymore, and I can't forgive him, I will go and work as all other staffs for two more months and after that I will go away from him, and start a new life, right, this is right, now he is only my boss and nothing more," Geet thought stubbornly,
Geet got up and went inside her washroom.

Maan called Meera in the Morning to ask about Geet's decision; if she had decided to go away then he had to plan something else to stop her.
"Meera, what did Geet decided?" Maan asked her when Meera attend the call.
"Sir, she said she will work with you," Meera said slowly. Thank god, Maan had a victory smile and he said ok and cut the call.
"Good, now all I have to do is keep her close and her love for me, will do the rest", he said with a smile, started getting ready, smiling big,
Geet too got ready, and came to the office, as she walked in; Adi greeted her, "Geet, good to see you like this,"
Geet smiled and went in, her heart was beating high as she crossed Maan's cabin, she didn't look at it, but her heart wanted to look inside, but Geet went to her cabin, keeping her head held down. She went and sat in her cabin and she was trembling and shivering.
"why am I trembling like this, Geet, please, don't react like this, look you are here to do your job, think Maan sir as an unknown Guy, just as an boss, only that, and nothing more, try to stay away from him as much as possible, don't speak unless it's needed," Geet was teaching herself the rules she made.

Maan came to the office and he went into his cabin and saw Geet from his cabin, Geet was seriously working in her system, he smiled and called her asking her to come to his cabin, Geet too went in knocking the door and stood there before him silently.
"Geet, I think you are forgetting something, you are supposed to wish your boss when you see him, and not stand like a statue," Maan yelled.
"Good morning Sir," She said looking down, with no smile on her lips.
Maan then went and sat in his chair, without saying anything and Geet was standing there, holding her notepad, Maan haven't said anything for a few minute, Geet was still standing looking down, she was losing her patience she want to look at him and see what he was doing, yet she controlled herself and waited for another two minute.
As she lost her patience, she looked up to see Maan and got shocked. Maan was sitting in his chair, with a slight grin on his face, his eyes dazzling on Geet, Geet was shocked and doesn't know what to do, she wanted to turn away but her eyes was refusing to come away from Maan's gorgeous face, "God," she used all her will to get her eyes from his face and look away.
Maan stood up and walked towards her, slowly and stood behind her so closely, making Geet to shiver, he lean abit front and spoke into her ears, "see you later," Maan said this and went out.
Geet was standing there holding to the chair, her whole body shivering due to his closeness, due to his hot breath on her, She cursed her body for responding to him acts,
"He is such a daredevil, he did that on purpose, to kindle my feelings, I know, he, I, Geet was speaking to herself," as she went and sat in her cabin.

After half an hour, Maan called her and asked her to bring her the pervious contracts files, Geet said ok and went and started searching it, but can't find it, she searched everywhere.
Geet final went to ask Adi, Adi said he kept that files in the right side cabin's files rack and it's in the upper shelve. Geet said ok and went in to the cabin. Maan saw her entering into that cabin, "what is she doing in that empty cabin," Maan thought and went there,
Maan stood outside and watched her, Geet dragged a stood and climbed in it and was trying to remove a file, "oh, she came to take the file, but who kept that file here," Maan turned as he thought and saw that Geet stool was shaking as she was pulling the files losing her balance.
Geet was trying hard to pull and suddenly the file came out to the half way giving up to her force but she lost her balance and was above to fall, Just then Geet felt a hand holding her waist, Geet looked down at Maan strong hand, which was holding her waist, balancing her on the stood, Geet could feel an sudden heat raising in her body, she stop her breathing,
Maan smiled a bit seeing her reaction to his touch, he pressed her waist a bit, making her to lose her balance again and fall into his arms, completely, Maan was holding her with his one arm encircling her and his other hand still holding her waist, Geet could feel her body pressing against his and she felt an familiar comfort in his hold,
It took some minute for Geet to come back to herself and pulled herself from Maan's hold, she looked at him, who was staring at her with a grin; Geet gave him the file and went out, without a word.
Maan smiled, "you can't hold yourself too long Geet, you have to give up, and accept your feelings," Maan said and went out.
