Hi I am a hopeless addict of the Fan Fictions here . Yesterday I sent a PM to one of my fav writer in this forum asking why was she not updating ! She replied that as readers did not gave due appreciation to her work she felt coming here and giving updates as a waste of time .
This made me think that are we readers so selfish that after reading a beautiful story and spending tension free (for me at least ) time in this forum we cannot give the writer due credit !
These writers have kept Maan and Geet alive in our minds even though the serial has long ago finished and in fact taken us beyond the story shown on the TV!
So after reading an update of approx 3000 + words all we can write is awesome or nice !!!
Is it too much to write a line or two just letting the writer know that you are following the story and understanding it ! Surely if we have the time to read a story we do have time to write a comment .
Many of us do comment and give detail reviews that are as much as fun to read as the actual updates! so kudos to them .
Here in this forum the writers are not given monetary payment .There only payments is the appreciation that we readers can give They take time from there busy schedules and write so that they can entertain us .So please let us really make them feel special and start appreciating there effort !!
