MEMORIES COME AND GO

LIKE A DREAM I WANTED TO HOLD

YET DESTINY INTERVENED

AND HERE I STAND STILL WITH

REMEMBRANCE IN MY HEART

"ITS FORGOT BABY " replied the lady who chuckled at the pronunciation

the little girl was struggling with.

the lady was in mid twenties saw her 4 year daughter who was matured beyond her years at this petty age of four children probably stick to their mom fearing that with

Her reverie broke as the little girl shook her .

"Mom what ale u doing see I learned my poem listen to it na"

And then again she started reciting her new discovery

With crooked pronunciation yet with pride and confidence oozing out of her glittery eyes.

The lady looked outside the window as her daughter ran to the room to play with her latest interests.

The world outside was busy as it was juggling ,to remain aligned with the fast- paced life. The lady shifted her gaze to the clock hanging in the middle of the room as if counting each and every nanosecond ,soon her eyes turned teary as she fought with her inner demons .

Suddenly she felt two feathery fingers wiping her never ending tears

There She saw her daughter standing , looking at her intently as if cracking her little brains to interpret her emotions.

"Mom why u clying"

That was it she broke into hysterics and embraced the little girl, clinging to her as if life depends on her.

With great difficulty she took the charge of her emotions and murmured to her daughter that there was nothing to worry and she was alright.

She thought her trick to divert her daughter's attention once again excelled alas!!! she failed to notice the slight turmoil which was grazing on the little girl's face .

Soon the clock struck 10 which reminded them of their precious bed time stories.

She carried her daughter to cozy room which haunts her with sweet bitter memories.

"And the prince and the princess lived happily ever after " with this line their story session came to an end .

Kissing goodnight to her daughter the lady sat near the window again debating with her inner self, soon the night evaded her thoughts and she slept with wrinkles surfacing her pale yet pretty face

so this was for today .waiting eagerly for your response 😃
