Maan hugged SD tight.

"What happened to my son?''

She held Maan face and asked lovingly. Alka breath was in throat fearing what if he tells her about their India call.

"Mama doesn't let me talk to Geet'' Maan complained hiding his face in SD waist.

"Geet?.. who is she Maan?''

Maan did not reply. SD knew he used to talk very less same like his father, she smiled and make Maan look her.

"Who is Geet Maan?''

Maan was not sure what to say, he looked Alka. He knew Dadi would scold if she comes to know Geet is from India and so he runs away without replying her. SD was not surprised with his behavior. Since the time he had come, she never seen him behaving like other children. Only when Alka used to talk about India or Geet he used to smile and even laugh but this was their little secret. SD did not know about it nor did his grandfather Mr. Yashwant Singh Khurana.

SD comes and asked Alka about Geet, Alka said she is his classmate. SD got satisfied and smiled, did not give any attention on topic and left inside. Alka took relief breath.

Mohan was still could not concentrate on marriage. He had been wondering why Alka would have called. He cursed himself for not talking her properly but that time he was in anger and people was around he could not talk in front of them.

He searched for Geet and found her sitting next to Neer on Mandap and staring all marriage ritual with great concentration. Sometime she was laughing and sometime used to become serious. She was totally engrossed in marriage. Later when time came for Vidaai, Geet looked everyone was crying along with her Neer di, little child also started crying in consequence. Mohan rushed and took her in arms, tried to make her shut but Geet was not ready to stop her cry. Mohan had to take her away from crowd and he came out of house. He himself wanted to spend some time in alone, thinking over the call and so started to walk in open field.

Sun had not risen yet completely but jingling light had started falling down on ground to make black field green. Wind was cool and so in no time Geet slept on his shoulder still getting hiccups time to time. Mohan was waiting for Alka call. He very tried to get the number but could not understand and so left with no option but to wait only.

In US, it was night when Alka came to pacify Maan but he was still angry on her. She could not call again because of SD being in home. She had brought milk and medicine for him but Maan refused to have it. Now Alka started feeling worry.

"Mama why can't we call from your cell or landline''

"Maan we can't. We can't let anyone know about her. Only your Dadi and Dadaji has private number but Dadi's one we can't use you know na''

"And Dadaji's phone?''

Alka had not faced Yushwant much. She still could not make herself open with all member of this family. Barely SD used to talk with her and that also due to Maan otherwise still Alka used to feel stranger in this home.

"Mama tell no, can we use Dadaji phone?'

"I don't know Maan if he would let us use''

"Mama shall I ask?''

Before Alka could think for this option Maan jumped down from bed and rushed out. Alka kept calling him back but child was in excitement, he straightway reached to Yush room and stopped on door. Alka came running behind and found Maan still on door did not take any step inside.

"What happened Maan?''

Maan remained silent. Yush was busy reading a file inside keeping an serious expression on his face. He was the man of tough personality and that always used to attract Maan. Always Maan used to admire his grandfather but from far because Yush never gave him chance to come closer but it was his nature. In heart he always loved Maan because a father could see his dead son face in his grandson.

Yushwant attention broke when he heard their whispers. He surprised to see Alka and Maan there and called them inside.

"Come son''

Maan walked in with hesitation but he could not speak out what wanted to. Yush said Maan to sit on chair and he did exact. Maan saw Alka for support but she herself was hesitated but could not leave her child wish alone.

"Papa.. actually Maan wants to talk to his friend in India '

Yush stared Maan whose eyes were reflecting its anticipation. He said this time would not be correct as in India it would be night.

He was right. Maan agreed, he came back to Alka and held her hand to go back when they heard,

"Maan, I am going India next week, you both can also come with me if you want''

And that was the moment Maan felt the utmost joy after separating from India and Geet. He runs and hugged Yash happily, saying him thank you and Yash smiled in reply. Alka was very happy to see Maan happy and both mother- son left delighted.

In India, Mohan did not get Alka call again but he got his transfer for Delhi. He could not express his happiness; he thanked Vyas again and again for his brotherly guidance. He kissed Geet face several times telling her about his happiness but that small child only stared him in wonder. She smiled when Mohan bought chocolates for her and she tells everyone in home that she was going to visit Delhi!!

As this news fell in Savita ears she got shocked. She never had thought that Mohan will leave this house like this, leaving his own Bhai and Bhabhi alone! After Neer marriage she had supposed Geet to take over whole households when she will become little more younger, she had thought that after that marriage fiasco no one would be going to marry her anyway and so, she can keep the child under her control for entire life but now, Mohan was taking her away!

She feared now who will carry house expenses? She had no expectation from her husband; it was Mohan only who was the golden hen of this house. She tried to talk Mohan indirectly but Mohan understood her intention very well. She tried to talk with her husband, argued with him but he was like a forbidden member of home, even Savita didn't respect him much due to his sloth. Days went like this only where Mohan was preparing to his journey and Savita was hell bent on stopping him but in all this little Geet was in her own world. She was unaware of all her future just had been dreaming about the new place where she was going to visit. .

One week passed when one day Mohan got an official letter. It was from the company and they were calling him for two days training in Delhi. Mohan left next day with Geet.

He reached the address where had been called. It was a tremendous villa. Mohan was hesitate to enter, he was not sure had reached on correct place. He asked guard about the person name he had to met. Guard let him go inside without query more.

Mohan held Geet hand and in other hand his bag, he stepped in. he was crossing through huge garden when suddenly Geet shouted, pointing someone. Mohan looked at the direction and found Alka, he surprised to see her there.

"No Geet, she is not Alka Ji, we're mistaking her''

More than Geet he tried to make himself understand but when they went near, Alka herself saw them and she also became equally surprised to find them there. she rushed to them,

"Aree Mohan ji aap yaha?''

"Ji,, I have been called by some Yashwant Singh Khurana, but how you here Alka ji!!''

"Yashwant? .. but he is my father in law and this is his house. We have come from US for some days with him!!''

Mohan was highly puzzled what's the matter? What was the relation of Yash and his boss and why he had been called? Looking at the place he had already guessed this can't be related to any office purpose then what could be the reason?

Alka and Mohan both were not sure what to talk or ask. Mohan didn't know that if Akla knew about that marriage and Alka was feeling odd talking or asking about the issue when she saw Geet, holding Mohan hand she was staring around with her big wide eyes. Geet was not wearing the marriage symbol so Alka could not guess anything but she smiled looking this little child.

"How are you Beta?'' Alka asked, then Geet saw her and smiled.

"Do Namaste Geet' Mohan said.

Geet joined her hands, Alka lifted her in arms smiling, without any reason Alka heart was wanting to love this child, she kissed Geet cheek and replied' Namaste Beta, kaisi hai aap?''

They were chatting when a servant came and informed that Yash was calling Mohan inside. Mohan looked Alka who was herself didn't know the reason. Mohan nodded. He took Geet from Alka and followed servant. Alka knew they would be talking inside Yash private office so it was worthless to go inside, she left to inform Maan about Geet arrival.

Mohan stepped in, he was nervous and very hesitated and perplexed with the unexpected terms. His mind was still wondering why Maan's grandfather wanted to meet him, is this related to Geet?'

Holding Geet near, he walked in with slow steps. He looked at a man, was sitting on couch with grandeur. It seems that every single thing of this place was shivering with the dominance of this single man. He was man of power and majesty and that made Mohan frightened but not Geet.

Geet found a new world to see. Everything thing here was attracting her attention, whether it be those shining huge Jhumar on roof or that big LCD on wall. Those polished statues and show pieces were amazingly making her eyes widen in astonishment.

"Namaste sir'

Mohan spoke collecting her confidence.

Yash raised eyes up to him and nodded, it was enough gesture for Mohan to come and sit. They were walking when yash saw Geet . Mohan settled on couch taking Geet in his lap, he said something in Geet ear. She jumped from Mohan lap and walked toward Yash and bent, before he could understand she touched his feet and runs back to her father and climbed up to his lap again.

"Is she Geet?''

Yash asked..

Mohan nodded and was to speak further when both eyes turned toward a direction. They found Maan, was stood on door and Alka was trying to stop him. She was scared with Yash anger and Maan wanted to go inside when Geet saw him. Little child did not diagnosed the reason of this pin drop silence and she jumped off from Mohan lap and runs to Maan laughing and held his hand and grinned happily..
