The rain droplets touched her palm falling down with force, she excitedly saw the ring on her finger through the water that got accumulated. The water slipped away through the crevices making her eyes to turn teary ... the water slipped like the way she lost her baby!! Geet never knew as to when the baby came into her and left her!! It was supposed to be a special day of life, she got engaged but here she was weeping ... she pulled her hand back, ran towards the bed crying out her heart.

She stopped herself when she heard someone voicing her and the way he addressed her geet understood it was Ari ... she wiped her face with pallo and looked at him ... Maami aap ro rahi ho?? He asked holding the book in his hand. Geet gathered herself quickly and called him ... Ari jumped on the bed beside her and opened the book showing geet the pic that he drew ... maami dekha?? I made this pic for mama?? How is it?? He asked excitedly began to describe it, but geet's face fell seeing the picture, reminding her about the baby. She burst into tears again this time probably with more intensity, ari got panicked ... Maami why are you crying?? He asked as tears made out way from his eyes too.

Ari go have your dinner, maan said picking him into his arms ... Geet didn't say anything just pulled her knees, she cried burying her head onto them. Her body began to give up and she laid on the bed, wondering how she can cope up with this pain. While maan didn't come to her wanting geet to fight with her feelings alone, he was sure once she would be done with crying she will ne ok.

At late night,

She screamed feeling something crawling on her stomach, geet got up sensing something awkward with the way it felt. She didn't know as to when she got up, and when maan came inside to see her plight she removed her pallu and yelled with fear. All he could do was to hug her saying there was nothing, geet understood who did that when her eyes fell on the spider lying on the floor. So did maan's gaze followed hers. She was already upset, fighting with the loss she had and arz was making it even more tuff for geet.

Maan did understand it was arz who did all that but right now he didn't want to say anything coz that was the only way geet would cope up with her pain he thought, ill be back maan she said moving out of the room deciding to talk to arz to tell her that what she was doing was wrong.

Arz what is it that you are doing?? Geet asked, while arz was busy with her play station and by then she understood what geet was hinting at ... She simply continued not bothering to answer, jawab nahi dogi?? Fine I guess your mamu needs to know what you are upto ... saying so she began to leave when she felt a tug on her pallu.

Maamu ko mat batana please woh gussa karenge, she pleaded almost ... Arz is known for playing all such pranks and maan did warn her many times this time its geet, what if he sends her back?? She threw the remote and said ... Maami please I wont do it again

Geet bent down and forwarded her hand for a promise, arz placed her little palm and repeated ... sorry maami, she hugged arz ... its ok I understand.

The ceremonies started, mehendi ka rasm ... it was difficult to cope up for geet still she tried her best not to show her pain to maan, the kids too were enjoying with the guests who were attending the function. Maan had to leave for office with the amount of work that surged all of a sudden, he wanted to be with geet but he couldn't.

It was in the evening geet cleaned her hands as the mehendi dried up, dadima lovingly kissed her forehead seeing the dark color that adored, try to forget what happened beta sometimes things happen for good she caressed her face and left sighing.

Arz and ari began to run around in the room fighting for the chocolates, geet understood maan was here ... she smiled ... she pulled the chocolates from ari's hand and shared them with arz, no fighting ... both didn't reply but kissed geet's cheek, maamu ne dene ke liye kaha tha

Geet in turn kissed their cheeks ... For your maamu, all three giggled, maan stood by the door and watched them, as the kids left for playing maan gave geet the chocolate that he hid from them ... maska maar rahe ho?? Geet asked taking it.

Haan late hoon, I know I had to be there with you today bt I didn't and was guessing ki tum mujhse gussa hogi ... kisne kaha main gussa hoon?? I am not angry ... Dekho meri mehendi, its beautiful na I love this color, she showed her hands excitedly.

It was really different on her not to go angry on maan, he knew it ... tum gussa nahi ho?? He asked lifting geet's chin trying to read what she was hiding in those years.

I don't deserve to go angry on anyone except on myself, so don't worry main gussa nahi hongi ... He was giving her time and she was taking more than he could give her probably, the answer that geet gave upset him.

Geet you weren't wrong, the situation was wrong, he placed the chocolate in front of her lips, if you cant forget what happened hamari shaadi karne ka matlab nahi rahega, we can make baby again, tears threatened to fall yet she controlled herself and had a bite of it.

Sometimes its better to move on rather than holding onto the past, agar baby hamara hota toh ab tak hamare saath hota, jo hamare naseeb mein nahi hai woh kaise hamare paas aata, she hugged him accepting his words. May be he was right!! If the baby was truly hers, she would have never been deprived of it.

He passionately took in her lips soothing her, geet gave in ... they didn't want to control with the oozing emotions, coming in terms with the reality, accepting it though geet knew it before!!

She crushed his shirt with her palms as he chewed her lips not wanting geet to think about the past, not to think about the baby, this kiss was a struggle for each other, struggle against each other like their pain, their lips were proof the battle they were having within!!
