The loudness of the drum. The sweet singing melodies of a brides farewell. The bright coloured sweets displayed across the planquain. My world was beautiful filled with laughters and happiness glowing from all dear ones. I was going to be a bride and I was one of those lucky girls that had found my soul mate. He didn't propose the bills and boons way but I was happy, because after 20 years I was marrying the love of my life.

I looked into the mirror to see a girl who looked remarkably like me but with so much more elegance and beauty. Her face was flawless and shining. The red and green of her lengha matched oceanic view of her eyes. The red lips, a set of bangles and a nose ring completed her in ways she couldn't possibly imagine. Her heart fluttered in anticipation for his arrival.
" Will he be amazed to see me like this?"
My heart knew it will perfect all I had to do was wait for his arrival
