The Downpour... Part 39

Geet was so shocked to found that it was the same ear ring which she was wearing yesterday and had threw it away in anger. She picked it up. Started to recall everything which had happened in KM. what Man did and what he had said. She tried to recall his every word, his action and his song.

In her unprepared mind she could not remember the entire song but somewhere her heart was saying, he had taken her name!

Her body became cold, thrilled with the realization. Her hands and legs started shivering. She shuddered when thought,

"He was talking about me???''

She came back to mirror and placed that earring in earlobe. Her face glowed when it touched her skin. Her eyes started pouring happy tears when found unexpected. She could not believe on her fate, on her luck that could have given her this much happiness. She could not believe that Maan could have loved her.

She was lost in thought when again got call from Asha and then she remembered she had to reach KC. She hurriedly got ready but changed ear ring, not wanted him to know her truth.

She came out taking file. Her world had been changed, everything had been changed and everything looked new around her. She was more than happy, wanted to laugh, and wanted to twirl, dance. She wanted to run and reach to Maan and then...

"Fir kya karungi??''

She shied, smiled and patted forehead for behaving like mad. She took taxi and sat inside. Maan thought was giving her Goosebumps. She remembered how he used to tease her, his mischief, his naughtiness everything was for her only. It made her blush hard. She was smiling and shying like a new bride.

She found herself grinning like fool. She chided herself. "Geet, what are you doing?''As if, it could have been stopped, it was not in her control now.

"But Geet, couldn't he say everything in easy way. Kitna rulaya mujhe. Now it's my turn. I will also pester him till he say sorry!!'' She pouted, complained and then again smiled. She was not being sure what should do. How to handle her uncontrollable happiness and with these thoughts she reached to place.

Geet came out leaving taxi and paid. She searched for Asha and found her standing across road, waiting for her. Geet waved smiling. She was more than happy feeling him near. She was just few steps away from KC, could have seen KC building and his cabin window from outside. Her eyes moved toward it. She felt like run and reach there then and there and see him.

Asha started crossing road. Geet eyes were busy travelling over KM building. She did not notice a car was running toward Asha in full speed and when Geet watched it, she runs to save her. And all of sudden, everything became silent and place been filled with hundreds of people shouting, noising about the accident of two girls.

Maan reached Geet home but it was locked

"Where is Geet?''

He called her but phone came unreachable. His heartbeat became fast thinking something bad happened to her. he scolded him to think like this but adamantly his mind was forcing him to think like this only. He called Asha but couldn't succeed talking with her also. He got frustrated. He went back in car, extremely annoyed and finally called Adi, thinking can talk Asha in office.

After few impatience rings Adi took phone.

"Why the hell you wasn't taking phone Adi!!' Maan shouted then he tried to collect his calmness.

"Get me talked Asha''

"Wo Maan sir'''

"Adi don't waste my time, I want to talk her urgently!!''

"Asha is not in office sir''.

"Nahi hai? Matlab? Where is she??'' Till then Maan had quite guessed something was not good. He could hear the normality of Adi voice was missing.

"Adi tell me where is she!!!''

"Sir, she had met with an accident. She in hospital''

"What!!!'' Maan shocked. "But how it could be possible. She was in office how did she reach on road???'' Question arose in his mind. And then his mind went toward Geet, "where is she'' Before he could ask, Adi himself told,

"Geet also..''

Maan eyes widen hearing her name. His anxiety started reaching high and breaking any limit of straining. "What happened to her Adi!!! Where is she!!!!''

"Sir Geet was with Asha when accident happened and both are here in ABC hospital. If you'''

But before Adi could be completed, he heard car was already started and phone became silent.

In no time Maan reached hospital. He was very worried for Geet, wanted to see her now!! His face became drained out like had not inhaled a single breathe since had heard about her. Leaving car in parking he runs inside, started to search for Adi. He was querying on reception when,

Maan sir'' heard Adi. Maan immediately turned to him. He hastened, clutched him tight, shook him asking "where is Geet, how is she Adi!!!!''

Adi was shocked to see his condition. He had not seen him like this every before.

"Calm down sir, Geet is alright''

Maan stopped, looked Adi quietly for a second. It seems, his one sentence had returned back the gone life in Maan, relief breathing had returned back in him.

"Where is she?'' he almost whispers. Adi pointed toward a direction. Without waiting for a second Maan hastened toward the direction. He crossed a long corridor, took turn and stopped, when saw her standing in front the ICU. She was alone, crying. Place was hushed. Maan heart skipped beats. She was all fine, standing before his eyes, nothing more he could have asked from God. He squeezed eyes tight to control his inner turmoil and then opened it, fearing if she would disappear again.

Geet heard something known, something which she had been familiar with, since long. She heard familiar footsteps coming toward her; she heard someone's breathing sound. She knew who he was. She turned, found him there, before her eyes, for her!!

Her every excitement which she had been experiencing since morning started to irk her. She felt like if he was there, she did not need the whole world being by her side now. Her burden of heart and happiness of finding the treasure of life started to force her to embrace her world, her love, her Maan and she runs toward him.

Precap : Maan walked toward door when Geet pressed his hand slightly to stop him. He turned.

"Maan I want to say you something!!''
