Chap 1 : Loved the way you narrated premises of "Goutam Buddha MahaVidyalaya", I literally visualized something like the one in movie "Mohabattein".Same goes with the intro of beautiful, stubborn, feisty Geet, Geet Raichanda and Hotty, sexy lad professor Arjun, Arjun Singh Khurana. Their first bitter-sweet encounter was worth to read. 😊 👏
Chap 2 : Though loved the overall update with bitter sweet conversation between Arjun n Geet, the high point of the chapter was debate on "Othello", I never read Shakespeare, so I first read the wiki about 'Othello' n then came back to read the whole debate u narrated. Must say loved your depth of understanding and 'seeing the other face of coin' like thinking. Whatever you made Geet say is in turn your view n after getting to know about Othello it's indeed my view too. 👍🏼
Kudos to ur writing skills 👏 👏 👏
Chap 3 : "Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is, ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do"
one of my fav quotes from my fav person Steve Jobs. Clearly the words are apt for our Geet here. Not to forget totally loved the way Geet blasted fellow students who were talking abusive about Arjun sir. 😳 😊 ❤️
Chap 4 : Though while reading earlier chapter I was miffed with Arjun's negligence over Archana's matter but the way he had handled it sensitively was commendable. I totally loved it. 🤗 N there our untamable Geet grows amicable towards her Arjun Sir. ❤️
"it was the early morning of the saraswati puja..she wore a pale yellow saree and a red blouse. Kept her freshly washed wet hair open..after a few minutes she got extremely busy in arrangements of puja.
Arjun stood there staring at the rongoli .the girl had many colours in her..his thoughts wandered to their various encounters when a big plate of Prasad held by a pair of fair hands obscured his view
Perplexed he looked up to find a breathtaking beauty making his heart skip the beat..
song flew back to them from the loud speaker situated at the mandap.
O mere dil ke chain...
chain aye mere dil ko dua kijiye...
o mere dil ke chain...
Geet clad in a elegant yellow sari draped around curves...with her long hair falling on her back like brown waterfalls...few loose tendrils caressing her beautiful face...gold hoops dangling from ears...naive big almond eyes adorned with kohl ..long dark lashes below the dark arches of brow..., pink lips had a small pout ..nothing earthly could be of such beauty .he didn't know he was holding breath ...like she will fade away with the breath if he released.
What ...She asked raising her brows at his wordless stare.
A slight scrunch on her confused face ...made her look more cute.
Arjun smiled softly nodding negative not knowing what to say ..the stunned gaze complimenting her ..though his lips were silent but the his yearning eyes gave away...the silence spoke volumes between them.
Somehow geet knew in her heart what he meant .the damn .heart thumped erratically in her chest as their eyes met...bubbles of sweet pleasure plagued her ..blush creeping up to her cheeks..
Aapna hi saya ...dekhke tum ...jane jahan sharma gaye...
abhi to yeh pehli manjil hai...tum to abhi se ghabra gaye..
Mera kya hoga...socho to jara...haye...aise na aahein vara kijiye..."
I don't know why, I felt goosebumps literally, while visualizing this whole part. Such a beautifully scribbled piece it is. 👏 ☺️ ❤️
Chap 5 - Chap 17 : I run short of words to describe how beautifully you weaved the story of two souls falling in n out of love, fighting with their inner selves, finally accepting their feelings towards each other, their painful past, their hot n wet romance ☺️, her confession, his acceptance of present finally forgetting the past, everything looked to me like a beautiful art painted on a canvas. *bows* 👏😃
Chap 18 - Chap 19 : aahhh.. what could I say, time n again life tests your love in ways unknown to you.
"its Othello's lack of faith on his wife and moreover on himself that allowed that clever to mangle poison into their lives..its othello's lack of wisdom that he relied outside his own self. ..othello himself welcomed iago and thousands of opportunist like him to enter and stand between his judgment.
Othello says he loves Desdemona, but he doesn't really 'cause he's selfish 'he is incapable of love I would rather say ... you don't kill someone just cause they cheated on you."
Othello believes that all women are inherently promiscuous. This seems to be the case when he says things like all men are "destined" to be cuckolded by their wives...
Iago might have taken the opportunity ..but it was Othello who had woven Desdemona's death.
We may also want to consider another possibility. The one Othello loves "too well" isn't Desdemona ' it's himself. Jealousy is an intensely self-centered emotion, and Othello spends much of the play obsessed with how Desdemona has hurt him and trying to get back at her for it. He's obsessed with his feelings, the way that her cheating reflects on him."
Are the words once Geet quoted about lack of trust in one's Love but when she herself bounded to such a grevious situation by fate, she forgot the rationality and acted impulsively thus hurting both of their souls in a manner where healing would never be easy. I would never see Geet as a sole reason for whatever happened but Arjun also, they are right in their part at the same time wrong towards each other's part. Somewhere in the blindness of love they lost that ability to think in other heart's perspective.
High Point of the part 19 - Arjun's painful confession. 💔 🥺
Chap 20 - Chap 22 : Such a painful chapters of their lives, from Geet's realization of her grievous mistake to her painful sufferings in the name of punishment tore me into bits.. my eyes moistened many times seeing/reading their deep agony. I can't express that heart-wrenching feeling I felt while reading these chapters in words, so here "I doff my hat to you" ... Girl u're a classic writer 👏 😔
Chap 23 : while reading it, only one thing came into my mind, Nirbhaya's incident, how much pain that girl would've been gone through. Gosh!!! I was trembling literally while reading n praying continuously that nothing should happen to that poor soul. 😭 😭 I took a deep breath of relief when Arjun, her savior came n rescued her.
chap 24 - Chap 25 : the painful aftermath of the dreadful incident. Two souls deeply in love yet distanced by fateful circumstances. One soul buried under deep sorrow, damaged beyond heal, another trying to heal that soul, who he loved beyond his life, his mother's life.
High point of the chapter 25 ' Hospital Bed Scene 😭 😭 😭
I commented in one go as I happened to read the story in one go till chapter 16. So thought of consolidating my feelings into a single comment.
You again nailed it dear, you again got me hooked onto your story by the same magical spell you once had casted upon me with your first story 'ILWE'. I 'm poor in good praiseworthy English, don't know how else I can praise you n your work other than saying this simple line. "A salute to your writing prowess".👏
Huhhh, I could express only this much considering only the major characters, as I feel this itself is big n I don't want to confuse you or irritate other commenters by my essays. 😆
P.S: I shall update picks of lines that touched me in another comment.
waiting for the next dose of magic 😃
