The title tells the tale. A bride's tale.

From the ignoring of a person cause you don't want them to mean too much to you because you know they are not that into you, to the final picture of her putting the waist chain on to please him; you have covered a love story from her view point.

I wanted her POV to come out so... with him being an integral part of her journey of realization of varied dimensions of love. 😳 To culmination in joining as of the waist chain. 😳

The close knit set of friends who form a circle of caring around Maan when he becomes alone shows so much comfort with each other.

Madhu and her green...😆 very nice.. plus she got married and came back from her honeymoon...👏👏👏 See further down for suggestions regarding the follow up.

Madhu had to be there na... afterall she's the love guru...😉😆 Aur uska honeymoon toh ab uske "voh" hi jaane... 🤣

I was taken aback at the dismissal of Dev's choice by his mother. Then it clicked that for someone who had seen them at ease with each other, the obvious would be expected.

The other surprise was Maan's rejection of her in the beginning. He thought her too young perhaps? The unromantic proposal due to the jealousy, the expectation that they were going to be together and how could she think of another proposal; I could so imagine MSK in this.

The proposal at Juhu Beach was awesome. I loved it. I took my husband there once when we were travelling together for a change and he could just tell from my face how madly I love the place when we reached there. The gift of the waist chain was 😳😳.

Juhu beach is one place that I can always relate to proposals as well the whole feel there especially at night always soothes me & mesmerizes me... 😊

The preparations with the friends for the wedding described was so lovely and she took a nap in the middle...😆 Catching up her sleep for later..😳 Yeah the night's going to be long... 😉😳

Lovely story about friends and love. Hope they stay in your life's journey forever..

This title was something I was stuck on... you know about it 😉 I too loved the title... as this was what I wanted to bring out through this OS. 😊
And you know what, the very first quote had me grounded to read it till the very last word. This quote is a favourite of mine which has a permanent place in my collection of quotations. Every single quote you used in here was wonderful, something that made me raise my eyebrows and nod appreciatively with the way they were woven into the story. The one I loved the most is:

Great one! Haina.. 😳 This so true... we all want it to be so but forget the next aspect that God writes all our stories...

About the story, it was sweet, it was simple. Yes, it was cliched but I really think cliches are what can make you sigh dreamily and start day-dreaming. This was one such story and I absolutely adore the realistic touch you've given in the way that Maan blurts out his love for Geet, in the way that Geet fights with her feelings to finally give in and admit that she loves him. I loved it all!
Dreams is something we all can... and fulfillment of it is life... I am a big believer in dreams and you can see that in this whole OS... 😳

Maan's style of confessing online is similar to what happened in reality to someone I know... 😉

Glad you loved it all inspite of it being cliched... 😃

I want to bug you for a part two but I don't know... it is a sweet simple story and though I might bug for more, I know it ends here, or rather its journey starts here.

the OS started out slowly and gained momentum at every juncture and there was no stopping to it.

Maaneet went through such a beautiful journey. it is important to trust each other in any relationship. unless you gain it without force noting can stand strong. and Maan and Geet built it so beautifully. 😃

I wanted to show that relationships need time to grow from strength to strength, that even if its love at first sight or if its in attraction phase yet for love to blossom one needs to have basic respect & give it all to nurture it. 😊

i lurved the beach proposal scene. gah only Maan can be so romantic. i was cursing him for proposing online magar bandha made it up 😉 aur hayye majnu diya waist chain! ☺️ i really find it sexy when men gift waist chains. there is always some place where i include it in my stories 😆

You loved the proposal style... its something I find very romantic to propose in the privacy of two souls yet with serene and nature around them both. And beach is something I love a lot (Major decisions of life have been there as well as its a place that calms me when distressed... )
