The Downpour... Part 14

She shouted when Maan held her waist and pulled to him and covered her mouth keeping hand on it.

"Chup' Don't dare to shout!!!!!'

And candle dropped on floor from her hand turning its flame into smoke. Room became dark. Suddenly Maan felt jab in his hand with something pointed and in reflex he left her and move back and saw, she was holding something shinning.

"What's this??'

He groaned in pain, clutching the area tight and felt cold liquid was slipping out!!

"Did you hit me!!!'' He was so shocked. "Damn you crazy girl!!!!''

He in anger took out lighter and lit it up. But she was gone!!

"Geet ' Don't try to hide today because I will not leave you and go without knowing everything!!!''

He observed the wound of hand. Thank God, it was not much deep. He searched and found a vegetable-knife was lying on floor. He couldn't believe that she had knife in hand. He prayed God for saving his life but for now he had to find her before she go and lock her room.

Geet was hiding behind sofa in same hall and was watching his every move. Though she didn't like that he was in pain, for a minute then kept this thought aside and stopped the sound of her breathing even, which was not possible at all.

Maan picked up candle from floor and lit it up. In sudden light a big shadow appeared on wall where he did locate her and smirked. He kept candle on table and headed to her. Geet could see him walking to her through his shadow. She had understood, now she had no escape. She stood up facing him and watched him walking to her. She moved back and his shadow followed her. Her back bumped to wall and Maan paused an inch far. And in last, his shadow covered her body completely.

She had been caught by him in his arms and Geet could not oppose back. she was trapped between his both arms which were resting on wall and his face was continually approaching to her and finally it came so near that now she had to stop her breathing otherwise it would expose her inner sensation due to his nearness.

Maan forgot what he had to ask. He forgot that his mind had been troubling him with questioners, he just got lost in her proximity, like everything was absolutely alright now and there was nothing to be worried about.

Geet was lacking sensation. She could not understand her feeling. Logically she had to push him back, fight with him but amazingly she was silent. When he was far she had been getting scared even with his name but now,,, at this time when he was this, she was feeling calm!

Though she could have shoved him and become free but strangely, she did not feel like doing this. She felt, his face was still moving closer well knowing there was no space left but she was quiet. She was letting him do what he was doing, without any worry.

"Breath Geet''

She heard his soft voice and her face filled with his scent. She started breathing again. Her heart suggested her to close eyes and she did it. Maan was feeling amazing. He just wanted to be there and smell her fragrance for entire life tasting the flavor of her skin which was inviting him. He decided to give his demand a try and moved lips more toward her. Geet could guess in shut eyes his intention and turned her face in shy and his lips landed on her smooth cheek which burned with his touch. Her whole body burned with his touch and she gasped. Maan did hear her gasp but ignored it, he was enjoying the calmness, this serenity. It was healing his frustrated heart and mind. He remained same. Keeping his lips on her cheek and then rubbed there slowly and so mildly. In his semi-sense he did not realize her fever.

Geet was in state of losing her sense any time. Her lips parted to moan his name when light came up and their mind exposed their position before each-other.

Instantly Maan moved back leaving Geet shocked on her own behavior. She was so vulnerable that did not have courage to face him and turned back, hiding her face between palms.

Maan, who was still in shock, heard her soft sobs. He did not like it. He did not like her regretting on their closeness. Don't know why but he wanted her to cherish this moment but knew, he was desiring for impossible.

But when it became impossible to bear her tears for more he decided to calm her down and talk steadily.

He coughed. "Geet.. I think we need to talk''

She turned looked him. Her face was burning and eyes were red and all teary. Maan became concerned seeing her condition. He tried to wipe her eyes but she shoved his hand and showed her finger to him in anger.

"Don't dare to touch me!!!!!''

She was throbbing violently.

"Geet' Maan got alarmed with her reaction. He felt guilt. "I'm sorry..'

"Sorry??? For what Mr. Maan??? Sorry for what haan!!! Sorry for stalking me!!! Sorry for making my life hell' sorry for snatching away every single piece of peace from my life... sorry for not giving you any chance to ruin my dignity.. for not letting you get my body!!!!!

"Geet!!!!''

His hand stopped in middle air. His face was dangerously flaring and eyes were oozing out viciously frenzy. It seemed like the biggest blow for him that he had just faced now. Geet heart shuddered but she was composed. She was to face worst today and she was ready for it.

"Why Maan.. Why did you stop??? Hit me just do whatever you want.. just do finish everything for once. At least then I could live my life without any fear of you.. Just do your wish!!!!''

She pulled his hand and kept on her below shoulder in anger when he pulled hand instantly glaring her shockingly. He was numb in shock to connect pieces of her words and acts, just stared her with no blink. She was crying continually. Her fever was burning her body like lava. She was looking weak and pale. Stress was doing bigger impact on her mind and heart.

"Just finish Maan finish everything but please, leave me to live my life in peace''

Instantly he pulled her, clutching back of head and other hand was on her waist. His eyes were pricking her heart. She was sobbing endlessly.

"How dare you!!!! How dare you Geet to blame me for what I cannot even think in worst. If I wanted Geet your reputation, your dignity, your everything, would be spoiled that night itself when you had fainted in my arms!!! Not a single minute it would take me to ruin you, your body and your life.''

Geet looked him deeply. "Yes.. He was right''

"Do you really think that I need to wait for you if whatever crap you said, would be right!!!''

"Then why did you use to follow me''

"I never did. I never saw you before!!!''

"And those messages which I had got with your name, that threatens??""

"Messages can be sent with any name Geet. Did you ever try to check was it me or not!!!' did you ever call him back??'

She nodded no. her mind was occupied with various thoughts and she was silent. Nothing was coming in her mind to ask or say just had been thinking all past incidents. Maan also made him-self calm to see her pale. He cupped her face to make her understand and when it came in touch of her skin it was burning.

"Have you fever Geet??'' He moved back, in concern checked her forehead. It was much hot. He became worried forgetting everything.

"Did you take medicine???!!!!!''

She was confused with his sudden changed behavior. A moment before he was yelling on her and now tensed??

"Are you hearing Geet .. Did you take medicine???''

She shook head steadily staring him.

"Come with me!!'

He pulled her with him but she did not move or respond.

Maan came and lifted her in arms and walked to room..

Precap : "Why did you come here Maan??" She stopped him holding his hand from back..
