lovely part palin...you very well written how old wounds have hurt to both suta & geet in diff maaner...

Suta did not read the letter...I was curious what her father wnated to tell her...may be asking sorry or something about his mother...I have to wait till she reads the letter...hummm...

geet was so childish at her time and how she hated her child just b'coss she could not get to play like others...loved her pain related to brinjal & the worm...poor geet...I am wondering still she is feeling the same about her child now...

a painful update.now i think i understand why you have named this ff as 'the parent'. suta's behaviour with maan replicates his own way of ignoring his mom. may b her behaviour will make him realise the pain and helplessness of mom. so geet does feel for her ignorance during her pregnancy stage...loved rano for being there for geet at every stage.

Lovely chapter

Suta was surprised to see her pictures hoping so much that her father had cared for her like that. The one glimpse of pride on his face was for Maan. So much do we do for that recognition from our parents. That must have pinched her bad.

The pink bedroom would not suit her cause she has a different interest. I am liking her, the non-girly girl. Reminds me of someone. Let me take a min to remember, oh no, let me take 2 mins...😆

Maan is disappointed that she does not like all the arrangements he made thanks to Dadi. It will take time to smooth out all the edges and create a good fit between Maan and Suta.

Geet and Abhi together sounds like a cute combination. Her memories of the past were painful. I can't even begin to imagine a small child feeling the way she did at that time. Not being able to go out, an unknown city and not being able to play. Poor dear...

Am loving the story.

loved the way maan understand suta she didn't liked the room reflected his love and affection born out love of father to his daughter . Geet regrets her innocence to not cherish her motherhood was so touchy.
