"Dev, mansion me? Is he back!! ' Maan was surprised. He rushed to the direction where sound was coming from and it was Dadi room. He was about to enter when SD herself came out. Her face was severely trying to hide something but Maan did not notice it.
He asked SD if Dev was back!!
"No Beta, who told you. He is not back yet'
But I heard his phone ring just when I was calling him!
Oho!! That was your Madhav uncle phone ring Maan! He was her just before you came. May be his phone rang at same time you dialed Dev!!
SD tried her best to keep things managed and seemed; she was succeeding when her eyes fell on Geet who was standing behind silent and mum.
"Aree Geet beta what happened you!!!'
SD noticed her wound and she hurriedly rushed to her then Geet came back in sense that she had hurt. It had stopped paining till she got confirmed that Dev was not back! And it was time when Maan also, noticed her dried blood clot.
"Nothing Dadi, bas thori chot lag gayi..'
What chot lag gayi Beta, just see how deep it is. Let me call doctor!! Maan!!... Maan!!!'
Maan engrossment broke when heard Dadi shout on him and he started dialing doctor number without saying anything. Till Nakul brought first-aid box and SD did her small bandage Geet eyes were looking Maan only and she did feel his silence.
"Why is Maan silent?' Geet thought. She was expecting him to say something, nothing more than could have yelled on me but why he is silent!! It was disturbing her much.
Doctor came and treated her. Though it was not that much deep wound but due to metal-hit, she should have proper medication. Doctor left after giving some pain killers and did proper bandage. She had to rest in her room when SD left after ordering her to take rest.
Geet was alone; her eyes were away from any rest or sleep because she had not seen Maan yet. He was there in doctor presence but then left where she had no clue.
"Why Maan is behaving like this!!' she was turning on bed restlessly. "He didn't even said anything! Babaji aap dekh rahe ho na wo mujhe kitna satate hai' She pouted. "But usse bhi jyada pyar karte hai. I know he loves me so much' She smiled. But then why he is not talking with me!!'
She sat up thinking when not take could rest more. She came out of room. It was drowning evening and atmosphere was deep and dark due to rainy weather. Little much cold was also mingled in air. She tip toed in his room but it was empty.
"May be he is in washroom!' she thought and stepped in. She tried to hear any sound would come from inside but there was quiet inside. "If he is not here, where did go?'
After being disappointed she was returning back, passing through the hallway when a hand pulled her powerfully and she got scared. Her big doe-shaped hazels extended in fear but when it met with a pair of big ocean-deep black eyes she melted and found herself in his hard arms. She felt it was not so tough but had distress. "Why!' She dint know properly.
' Maan' she whispered but got muted when felt his touch on her wound. Maan caressed her forehead. It was so visible in his eyes that he was drowning in guilt and that's was the reason of his silence, she could guess now. Her eyes welled up with tears feeling happiness of his love and pain of his suffers. It was mixture emotions she was feeling right now, standing below his fondle touch.
She let him love her, did not stop or disturb. Just was gaining the income of his closeness. He touched her forehead with his lips, then both eyes which had liquid of bliss, her cheeks and lips. She was on cloud nine, in heaven to get this much comeback even when he was angry on her. "How much he would love me in his happiness' she imagined and just jumped in joy.
Her stirring brought him back and he opened eyes, stared her. He own could not understand what was happening to him, why he was reacting so much for a small thing! But seems, it was his hidden, buried desire, his long forgotten wish which was veiling up due to her fond and attention. May be he wanted more and more be- loving by her and when-ever she does something where he sees her care was lessening down, a fear of losing his position in her kingdom made him awful and thus her every small thing start affecting deeply in his heart and he reacts more to gain her attention with extensions.
"But then why you let me feel it Geet, this pain, this much ache that I forget to handle it. You feel happy to see me in pain haina, Geet!!'' He spoke in irritation did not know his hands were not holding her but clutching firmly. But she, was not feeling any pain because her all senses were busy in to read what his eyes were displaying which was totally separate from the words he said.
"I can never feel happy to see you in pain Maan. No one can be happy when her own part of body feel ache. You don't know what place I have given you in my life in fact I too, don't know when, you became it that now I can't even imagine my day and night living without you. I am not needier of breathes, of heartbeat for my life but I need you only to survive'
She cupped his face and spoke out her heart out.
Maan if I say something that gave you pain, give you hurt then its only because I feel my right on you but never wanted to hurt. But if it caused pain I swear I will never speak those words again in life… '
Maan stopped her speaking future closing her mouth with palm. He gestured her to pause.
"You will.. You can say anything to me. I want to hear every word from my Geet lips that would show her belongings in me. You have all right Geet, you can say everything rather it hurt me because I know, after I will get much more love from you'
He smiled looking at her lips ''and my reward too!!'
She shied down and let him hold his reward from her lips.
"I am sorry'' she said inside his mouth which came out as a mere whisper..
