Part 1

Meera, with her friends are going to her village for a week to spend their holidays away from the city life and to enjoy the greenery around. Meera and jeevika are as usual in their own world chatting with each other making boys irritated. They all are going in 2 cars. Meera, jeevika, yash and viren are in one car. Where as Maan, Naintara and dev are in other car.

Meera took out her mobile to call naintara. "Hey tara, stop the car near dhaba. We all are too much hungry" told meer rubbing her stomach. Tara smiled and told ok. "Dev, stop the car near dhaba" told tara, while dev nodded. In the back seat, Our dear Maan Singh Khurana is happily sleeping not even realizing where they are. Maan's legs are on the windows one on the other towards outside. As they are travelling in night and thank god there is not much traffic in the highway so maan's legs are safe. His face is covered with a blanket to avoid light falling on his face. Dev-Maan are non-identical twins, totally opposite in nature. Maan is fun loving, flirty and jovial where as dev is mild, calm and caring. Maan is possessive when it comes to his family and friends mainly girls. He respect everyone and can do anything for their happiness. Meer, jeevi and tara are important girls in his life. And his family his jaan-e-mann, his dadimaa is everything and he loves his dad a lot, who is now paralysed.

Here Dev stopped the car near dhaba and got down. He opened the door of back seat and tried to wake up maan, but he is in very very deep sleep. Finding no other option dev bend towards maan's ears and screamed maaan. Maan opened his eyes with a jerk and got up all of a sudden. He rubbed his ears with one hand and rubbed his sleepy eyes with other.

"Dev, what was that?" asked maan irritatingly as he disturbed his beautiful dream. "Why? Are you dreaming again?" asked dev knowing his bro very well. Maan smiled dreamily and told "Ha yaar all girls rounded and dancing. Wow what a sight" Dev slapped maan on his head and told "Now get down bro, we all are hungry and all are waiting for you" "By the way where are we?" asked maan getting down lazily. "We are near dhaba" told dev. "Oh wow, great news. I am asking where are we? Did we reach the place?" asked maan. "Not yet an hour more" told dev and dragged maan to dhaba.

Maan saw 3 girls and smiled at them. "Hey gundi's ready to attack food?" asked maan laughing at their fuming faces. "Arey see their fuming faces, awww you all look so cute in those faces" teased maan. Boys giggled at his comment. "Maan, will you shut your mouth"jeevika angered. But maan ignored and concentrated on meer now. "Hey meer, I am shocked you know" told maan making shocking face. Meer looked at him confused so as others. "Meer baby is confused awww no problem wait let me help you to clear your confusion. I am shocked because you still didn't start your CHOTI jap" teased maan."Dare you take my choti name" warned meer.

"Mummy mujhe darr lag raha hai" told maan making scared face. All the boys hi-fied and laughed out loud but stopped seeing meer's teary eyes. Maan bit his tongue and looked apologetically at meer holding his ears. "Meer, I am sorry baba. Now don't cry, I know I know you don't like anyone of us making fun of your choti. From now I will not tease. Now give us a smile" requested maan still holding his ears.

Yash wiped meer's tears and side hugged her. Meer gave a angry glare to maan but soon melted seeing baby face. How much he tease and how much he make fun of other, but he is a sweet heart and no one can be angry on him or anyone for long. Seeing meer smile maan too gave him charming smile which make whole college faint but not these 3 girls. They ordered their favorite Punjabi food and maan ordered his favorite palak paneer. They all relished the food and at the end they completed their dinner with lassi.

More one hour journey to meer's village, this time maan changed his car as he was really bored with dev and tara as they are so lost in their own world and forgot this poor fellow in the eye talks. "Viren yaar you go with dev and tara" told maan. "Ok" told viren and everyone settled in their cars. Soon they reached Hoshiyarpur, as it was too late night no one is there on roads and everything seems to be deserted. Meer told the route to their haveli, watchman is waiting for them. once he saw the cars he opened the gates and gave the haveli keys to meer and left from there saying he arranged everything. Meer thanked him and asked yash and dev to park the cars in the left side of the haveli.

As all are tired no one had energy to explore the haveli. Meer showed them their rooms and all of them retired to their rooms having a deep slumber except maan as he had a deep sleep during the journey. He looked at the boys who are sleeping peacefully, he sighed and came out of the room. He climbed down the stairs to see the lights on in the kitchen. He took slow steps and reached kitchen to see meera drinking water.

"Hey meer, you still awake?" asked maan sitting on the kitchen slab. Meer nodded slightly still thinking about something. "meer, is everything fine?" asked maan seeing the frown on her face. "Maan, you all came here to enjoy the holidays in the village but I came here on a purpose" told meer looking at him. "Purpose?" asked maan confused. "Hmm, I came her to take my choti to delhi" told meer. "Oh no meer please, you will forget us for sure" teased maan to make the atmosphere lite. "Maaan" shouted meer laughing out. Meer loves her choti a lot that she always tells them about her. when ever she visit hoshiyarpur meer spends 24*7 with her choti. They may be cousins but meer treats choti as her won sister and really worried about choti as she is nave and innocent.Maan, how much he tease meer but they both share a special bond. Maan and meer are always close to each other and never hide anything to each other.

Meer didn't tell anything why she came here but maan sensed it is something serious. But maan decided to keep quiet and talk with yash may be he might know about it. Meer wished him good night and left to her room. Maan roamed here and there for some time, feeling tired he dozed on the couch itself.

Next day morning:

All of them got up except maan who is sleeping happily on the couch still. Meer, tara are in the kitchen preparing coffee for everyone, while dev is talking on phone with someone. Yash, viren, jeevi are in the garden enjoying the morning sunlight. A girl entered the gates of the haveli, looking here and there with her wide eyes. When she saw someone in the garden she got scared and looked back. But she found none and got more scared.

"Babaji, please send pari soon. I don't know anyone here" thought that girl and took very small steps, she is clutching her duppatta in her fists mercilessly. Yash saw that girl and stopped her. "Hey you" called yash. That girl looked at them and feared more. This is the first time she came out alone and seeing strangers all around she is hell scared and want to run from there. "Who are you?" asked yash coming towards that girl. That girls eyes are fixed on the ground not daring to look up at him. Yash softened his tone seeing her scary face. "Do you need anything?" asked yash calmly. He heard no response from her. But next moment he saw tears in her eyes which are wetting her cheeks. Yash scratched his head not knowing what to do.

He thought to call meer, as it is her village and she might be knowing who is she? "Hey please don't cry. I will call her" told yash and rushed inside, he is hell scared seeing her tears and that too because of him made him fell bad. That girl still stood there like a statue not knowing what to do? And tears are not stopping. Dev completed his call and was coming out, at the same time maan too got up. "Good morning dev" wished maan. Dev smiled and wished him back. They both are coming out and maan is eagerly waiting for his morning coffee and the girl still standing like a statue very scared.
