Pyaar aur Junoon! Part 1 Updated
1) The News!
It was a dark night. Inside the large palace in Marlow , on the third
floor was a large and spacious bedroom. A large crystal chandelier
had been suspended from its ceiling, which glowed with dim lights. It was
held in place by four strong metal chains which clanked slightly as the
breeze slowly blew from the large open window. Right in the middle of
this room was placed a large circular bed. It was covered in expensive
pillows, little cushions and life-size large duvets along with warm
blankets. There was peace and quiet inside this room, the only
disturbance being soft, slow whimpers which were caused because the
little princess sitting on the bed resting her back upon the cushioned
headboard of the bed. She was a delicate, sweet and beautiful creature.
Creamy white complexion, warm and endearing purple eyes with a long
curvaceous body and slender neck defined the innocent beauty. She
had all the luxury and comfort in the world you could think of, the
most loving family, friends who admired and loved her more than their
life and a handsome male companion whom she loved with all her life.
Her life had been perfect until now, but today she had seen some of the
worse things and felt the cruel play of destiny. As she remembered the
events that had occurred few hours ago, her lips quivered and eyes
filled with tears not of sadness and longing, but pure terror and
helplessness. The poor soul was so baffled and confused that drowned
in her thoughts, she did not even care to glance all around her sleeping
chamber. Though it was a magnificent room, but there was something
about it's internal appearance that would send a chill down your spine.
Because, upon the walls and ceiling, were carved and etched hundreds
of eyes! Big and small, horizontal and vertical, even in diagonal
directions as per the orders of the person supervising the arrangements.
He was a man of terms and actions, a person of lesser words, actually.
He loved his family intensely, in fact he loved them to the height of
madness.
As a tear slowly trickled down the cheeks of Princess Geet, she blinked
and happened to glance around the room. It was then that she saw those
eyes, hundreds of them, staring at her from all directions. It seemed
that the walls and every single thing inside the chamber were glaring
at her, making her face her worst fears.
Terrified, geet turned her head to the left and the door opened. It was
slightly dark in the corridor outside, so she could not recognize the
person who was slowly coming towards her, approaching her bed, and
was trying to get close to her. She was about to scream her lungs out
when the lights were switched on, and closing her eyes to adjust to the
sudden brightness, the girl blinked and opened them again. It was none
other than Prince Maan Singh Khurana, her best mate, her soul
companion and childhood friend. Maan slowly walked forward and
nearing the bed, sat down beside his princess. Geet was puzzled and
tried to say something, but unable to think of any words, shook her
little head and closed her mouth again.
Maan shifted near geet and leaning comfortably on the cushioned back
of the bed, put an arm around her petite little waist. Geet flinched with
the unexpected contact, but did not say anything. She was too terrified
to speak her mind out. Finally, gathering some courage, she softly
cleared her throat and looking at maan straight in the eyes, said:
"Maan, tum humein yahaan kyon lekar aaye? Woh guards aur police Dev
ko kahaan le ke gaye?" All the while, geet was looking at him intently to
see and observe his reactions. To her surprise, maan simply smiled, and
caressing her soft cheek lovingly with his fingers, leaned a little
forward and whispered huskily,
"Jaan, tumhe ab fikar karne ki koi zarurat nahi hain. Maine us shaitaan
ko humaare beech mein se hataa diya hain. Police ne us dev ko hawalaat
mein daal diya hain. Tumhari tabiyat kharaab ho gayi thi, is liye tum ko
sedative diya thaa. Tum abhi sirf aaram kar lo. Aur do din tak apne aap
ko zara bhi stress mat karna. Kyon ki, narso (the day after day after
tomorrow) hum dono ki shaadi hone waali hain. Uski taiyariyo ke liye
tab tumhe jaldi uthna padega. Hai na shona? Is liye, ( he leaned a little
more forward and kissed geet's juicy lips) tum abhi so jao. Main yahi
rahunga, tumhare paas. Kahin nahi jaunga main tumhe chod kar."
As maan smiled after finishing his words, geet's eyes widened in fear.
So, he had actually carried his threat out and handed dev over to the
police. But she could not argue with him. He was her best friend, and
wished to keep he safe, she knew that. But today, he had put her love
in danger. This thing itself was so confusing for geet that she could
not understand anything that was happening around her. Sighing in
defeat, the little princess lay down on the bed, and pulling the pillow
properly under her head, closed her tired eyes. Maan smiled at the
little tired frown upon her forehead and switched off the lights.
After closing the door securely, he climbed on the bed and laying
down beside his little sweetie-pie, leaned over her face and pecked her
forehead lovingly. Then he too closed his eyes and fell asleep with a
wide and contended smile playing on his lips.

Me just thought of something! I've written here that maan got eyes carved all over geet's bedroom walls and ceiling.
What do you guys think his gesture signifies?
Is maan a positive character here or a negative one?
Do you think he loves geet truly to the height of insane possessiveness?
Please tell me the meaning of this unusual attitude of maan in this story.
Send me all of your opinions and guesses. If you guys interpret the meaning accurately, next time, I'll give you all two updates in succession.
