Note:many writers have written story on arranged marriage..if its muskan,anshra,keya ,aakrithi ,ridz n so many..but everything has its own individual..this story is related to real incidents of my close ones..i have been with her..n some which i had in my personal experience..im writing it with some changes as to ff..if any one feels any resemblances..let me know through pm.

PART 3

Mumbai airport

An young man dressed up in his casuals stepped out of the plane..all girls were looking at the hot hunk'some dropped their hand luggages looking at him..mens were jealous on him as their wife's looked on the man over them..its none other than maan.the growing up business men..he knew his effect on girls..he smiles to himself n passed on them to the exit..he is now making the business world talk about him..its his hard work n the height he reached in the small time span made others look at him...as he walked out his arjun(bil's) car came near him..he stepped inside n asked the driver to drove to yash's place first..his mother is also there waiting for him..his mother savithri is his life..who is the reason for his success..he felt proud thinking about his mother..

Savithri devi khurana belongs to the next village of Hoshiarpur..she spends her old life alone there..she often goes for pilgrimages..n few times visits his sons too.. nakul was the helper of savithri..its strict order of maan..that sd must not live alone..

Maan is now here in Mumbai straight from Chennai,after 2 days of godhbharai to see yash n meera..who were angry on him for not attending the function..meera always wonders maans nature..how he could roam around n work 24x7 ..he did not miss to give the presence in family timings also..if he missed he compensated too..

Maan came to yash's house..yash turned his face showing his fake anger..

Maan: how r u meera n how is my angel..n how is my little brother..

Meera: all are nice veerji..but we both are angry on you..

Yash who was watching the drama of his wife n brother said..

Maan:hope so..if I got it I must stay in Chennai for few months..

Maan: maa,its not decided..if I get the contract I have to stay there for few months.. the time only knows..i am not sure..

Meera came with his coffee..maan had it..

Maan went outside n came after an hr..yash meera was ready..maan took them to an open theatre..n what yash meera saw made them surprised..it was only them,savithri maa,arohi n arjun family..maan has booked the whole theatre with arjuns help..there was all things which meera wish to eat..after the normal greetings, maan signaled the operator n he started the picture..maan made sure meera rested on the chair with legs stretched..n if she gets back pain she can relax on couch..he had arranged a bed too for her..if she want to sleep she can..

Meera was overwhelmed with the concern maan showed on her..that is maan..his love has no boundaries to his loved ones..which made meera always surprise..maan considered her as his sister'n loved pampering her same like his sister arohi..

Maan was also with his family after a long time..he was having fun with his family than watching the movie..payal palak the little ones was not interested watching film..they were playing with their maamu n maan was tickling n talking to them in his baby language..after the film all went to arohi's house..n her in laws started the chapter..which he was avoiding for a long time..

Mrs.rathod:maan bte..when will u get married..

Maan:aunty:when I get my girl of maa's choice n as per my expectations..

Mr:rathod:maan,in our relatives circle too there are few girls..their parents are asking us about u..

All were making him cornered..arohi brought some photos which broker gave her..n her in laws gave to her..

Maan sat near savithris knees.

The next day the family arrived..with their daughter radhika..the first look itself made all their faces change including mr.n mrs.rathode..the girl was over modern with a short knee length frock n her dress was revealing..n the way she behaved to be over friendly n mocking meera n ani to be traditional cultural wife's..sd excused n went..maan too went behind her..payal n palak teased radhika for wearing frock like them..which her parents got ashamed n left..

Maan: maa..thats why I said..maa,we know how bhabhi is..it took so much time for u to accept her..i don't want that.

Sd:maan..im worried about u..

Then she thought about geet..she had no information about geet other than she is meera's friend..

atlast maan took off for 3 days from office to go n see meera n baby..

savithri came their n kept some photos of girls over maans baggage..

Maan looked at the photos not to disappoint his maa..he looked at two pictures..both girls were dressed in Indian..one girl had a little make up..he can say by the neatly threaded eye brows n lipstick on her..the other girl was in sari..no make up..a single chain n glass bangles in her hand..her hazel brown eyes..it said something to him..he don't know he was looking at the picture more than 10 minutes..

Sd smiled..he liked her..

Sd:geet..its her name..she is meera's friend..lives in HP..broker told they are not very rich..i have seen this girl..she is very homely..u know na I was saying to see you a girl for long time..this is the girl..n u did not give time to talk about it more..

Maan looked at the picture..this is the first time he has given importance to a picture..or to say looking at a girl keenly..she is smiling..but it did not reach her eyes..may be she is tensed while the picture was taken..

Sd:I would have given her picture alone..but I want to know ur choice too..

Sd:maan,we are going to HP..can we see her..

Sd,Vicky ,dev naina with ansh came to their native place..nArohi withpayal palak too came as it was their annual holidays..all decided to take rest n start to meeras place by noon ..nakul made the lunch.n they had the family dinner...payal palak n ansh were playing..naina was busy shaping her nails..dev was busy in lappy..vicky Arohi n maan were chatting..

Maan with kids n his maa sat in his car..in other dev,naina ani n Vicky came'maan was driving the car to HP..he loved the drive..both sides were filled with greenery n pleasant for eyes..thats what he loved in villages..the fresh air,the pool water n the greenery..the sounds of birds

Sd:maan,u did not forget the gifts to keep in car na..

Maan:yes maa..i myself kept it in bros car..

Maan smelled the air ..

Maan:its going to rain I think..mitti ki khusbhoo aarahi hai..

Busss..sss

Maans car jerked n stopped..

Kids:kya hua..chachu..

Kya hua maamu..

Maan:let me check..

He got out of the car n looked at the tyres..it was flat..n radiator was also heat n smoke coming from bonnet..

Dev stopped his car n all came to maan who was fixing it..

Dev:kya hua maan..

Maan:nothing bro..tyre is puncture..im fixing it..bro..its going to rain..u pls take all in ur car ..maa n kids will catch cold..

Vicky:I ll stay with maan bhai..

Maan:no Vicky..u too go with them..im not a kid or new to hp..

Vicky:but bro..

Maan looked at him angrily..im not a kid..n I love this place..n I know villagers are kind enough..n I know to fix my car..so u all can go..maan was stubborn ..n all knew if he decides he wont change it..so all got into devs car..keeping kids in their laps..

Here maan fixed the car..his hands were dirt..he asked the villager who passed by..n he showed a well in next field..as maan moved on..he heared some humming of a girl..same time the rain started to pour n maan went to hide under a hut..he heared the voice of a girl..

Maan can only see a girl singing..her back only was visible to him..another small girl was near her..both were playing n dancing in the rain..there was no one other than him..n the girls were unaware of his presence..

Maan tried to get the view of both..he don't know why he want to see her..

The girl held a pole n rounded it..n that's when maan saw the eyes..same eyes..geet..the next girl..rajji..yash's sister in law.

maan hide himself n look at geet..he don't want to spoil her happiness..her eyes were twinkling in joy..which was missing in the photo..she was wearing a half sari..n it was glued like a second skin..maan held himself not to look at her intimately..he chided himself to check a girl like that..he is not having any right on her to check on her like that..

rajji sat in swing n geet pushed her..then she sat in swing n she went high as much as she could like she want to fly in air..

maan chuckled.. A dog chased a calf n it fell down.n it started to limb...geet shoved the dog n took the calf 's leg n checked it..she took a branch from the tree n broke it into small piece..she kept it in calf's legs n tied it ..the calf was able to stand straight n it ran to its mother cow..geet looked the mother cow caressing its calf with tongue..

Maan smiled..she is caring for animals too..

she is real..she is his dream girl..this is the girl he dreamt of..his mishty..most of his dream suit with her..very homely simple yet beautiful'

Rajji:di..its getting late..lets go home..rain also stopped..

Geet:ya..i will take my bag n come..

Rajji:ok di..today ur exams have finished..we will come to farm daily n have fun.from tomorrow...

Maan:gud'.her exams have finished..

He saw them both moving..he went to the well n filled the can n came to his car..he filled the water n started it..it moved on..maans phone buzzed n he heared ani talking with full anxiety but her voice was like whispering..

Maan:hello

Arohi:bhai..im so happy..guess where we are..

Maan:meera ki ghar..

Arohi:no bhai..

Maan:phir..

Ani:guess maan.

Maan:Arohi dear..i give up..i cant guess..

Arohi:maan,we are in geets nanaji's house..

Maan applied a sudden break..indeed he was shocked..

Maan:but Arohi.i told we will go without informing them..n did u all fool me ..we are supposed to go to meeras place..

How can he say he has seen her already..she is beautiful n caring..still he want to know more about her..he opened his luggage n took a long cloth n tied it as a turban..he changed his gud shirt to very normal one with dull colour..

Madhavs house..

Khurana family were welcomed with smile n made to sit..they enquired who they are..n they said..they are yash's bade maa n family..who are living in next village..madhav immediately recognized SD..as broker has said to him about the proposal of maan to geet..

When khuranas were busy chatting with each other seeing geets picture in hall,madhav called rano n told they are grooms family..rano was shocked..now she must be more careful..though they are not here to look geet now..but first impression is the best impression..she scanned the family..all were gud n happy..only naina was looking like I don't care about what is happening around me..

Sd:I ve seen u in yash house..

Rano:ji..mei bhi..i was thinking were I saw u..nice meeting u..

Sd:is this ur house..

Rano: no no..this is my fathers..he is not well so im taking care of him..we are living in hp only but in separate house..

Sd n rano chatted normally..it was clear SD was asking about them n rano was answering politely n generally..

Maan stopped before a shop n brought some fruit baskets..

He moved on n reached madhavs house before geet arrives(he is in car..she is walking..so he arrived first)

Maan came inside..maa..maaji..aapne phal kareednekeliye kaha..ye lijiye..

When I asked fruits..sd thought..

All khurana's first cant identify maan..then giggled seeing his new avtar..the kids were about to call him..Arohi hushed them by saying..its a new game..so they must be silent till maan says..they agreed..

Sd:haan..give it to them..

Maan gave it to rano..

Rano:ye sab kisliye..

Sd:pehle baar hai..khali hath nehi aana chahiye na kisi ki ghar..rak leejiye..

Madhav:rano..give them some tea n snacks..

Rano:ji bauji..

Maan saw geet near the compound adjusting her hair n correcting her half sari..she entered her house..geet nervously looked at her mother..she got glares in return..but rano did not open her mouth..that made geet wonder..then she saw ranos eyes pointing left side..geet saw some peoples there..

Geet:oh..guests..so only maa did not taunt me before them..

Geet to khuranas in respect:Namaste..

N they too said Namaste with smile..

Rano:geet..u r drenched..

Geet:wo..maa..rain came..

Rano:ok..go n change..n make some pakoras n tea..

Rano turned to sd..

Rano:our geet's hand made food tastes gud..

Sd:then we will surely taste it..beta..go n change soon..or u will catch cold..

Geet was in shock..did her mother praise her cooking before them..she got out of her la la land with sd's voice..

Geet:ji..

Rano took geet in n gave her sari to change..

Geet:maa..i ll change to salwar..

Rano:chup..wear it n come soon..they are meeras in laws..so don't make any scene before them..behave respectfully..

Geet:hmm..

Rano removed her two plaits n made it one..she removed her small dot like stud n replaced it with a big stud..she made her wear a little big size bindi..geet looked at herself..she looked like a married women..not a school going girl..thats what rano needed..they must see her matured..

Geet went to kitchen n quickly made pakoras..she served them all..then she made tea..n gave them..

Maan was quietly observing geet.standing in a corner of the house...she was polite..n her cooking was really yummy..

Geet went inside'

Rano:geet,take kids with u we all elders will have a chat..u look after them..

Geet:ji maa..

She took ansh n payalpalak inside..geet was happy with kids around..

Ansh:why u came drenched in rain..

Geet:becoz I love rain..n moreover today is my last exam..i was so happy so I danced in rain..

Maan came to have a look around the house..seeing kids n geet ,he watched them thru the window..she is a open book..did not hide to kids..

Payal: mummy says we will catch cold..ur mummy will not scold u..

Geet:haan..but now I am grown up na..so I wont catch cold..i know to take care of myself..

Maan:she knows to convince kids also..

Geet took snake n ladders n made the three play..when she turned to take water..the three started to fight..

Ansh:u are cheating..

Payal:nehi

Palak:no..

Geet:kya hua?

Ansh:aunty..they moved my coin..n say snake bit me..

Palak:no aunty..we did not cheat..

Ansh:aunty,they both do this to me always..im small na..so only..

Geet:its bad to cheat..u can cheat in game..n u can win..but will ur heart accept the victory..who ever may be wrong cant live happy by cheating.god is there watching us..

He will punish us in some other way..like he will make ur favourite toy vanish by magic..

Chu..chu..geet turned her hands like magicians do..

Geet:now say..who cheated whom..

Palk:sry ansh..i did it for fun..

Ansh:its ok palak..

Palak:aunty,,now god wont take my toy na..

Geet:no darling..if u speak the truth god will always be with u..

Maan took of the turban..n turned ..same time meera saw him from her house..they arrived now only..

Maan went to her house n said maa n others are in geets house..n told her to visit his maa n say they are back..n he is waiting in her house..

meera came to madhavs house n apologized them..

meera:maa,maan veerji is waiting for u all in house..i came to call u..

madhav:maan..

sd:to madhav:maan mera dusra beta hai.. he has arrived..ok lets go..thank u so much for letting us stay here..we had a gud time..

sd:Namaste..

madhav n rano:Namaste..

SD:we will meet tomorrow..

Rano did not get what she said..

Here maan has filled meeras house with his gifts..

Meera:veerji..did u buy a whole shop..already maa ani Vicky dev veerji has gifted so much..

Maan:its from my side..for my champ..haina champ..u love badepapas gift na..

He cooed him..n he laughed throwing his hands n legs in air..

Maan:krish beta..u love bade papa na..

He gave a gummy smile..

Maan was playing with him..meera tried to take krish from maan..but maan did not give her

Sd:he loves kids meera..so no use of stopping him..let him enjoy holding krish..patha nehi when his kid will come he will give to us or not..

All chuckled..maan frowned..but he could not hide his red hue forming in his cheeks..he started to dream of him geet n baby..

Sd asked dev to call the broker n inform madhavs family they are arriving to their home officially to see geet..

Before going back to their native place,Sd opened the news to meeras family too..that they are coming to see geet next day..n meera will be in grooms side..

Meera:veerji..do u know about geet..

Maan:yes I do..before u all came I was only following her..i saw rajji too with her..

Meera:oh..

She did not say anything..

After they all went she came to madhavs house only to see the storm inside..

Madhav,mohinder,Rano,tej,suraj was there..

Rano:khuranas like geet..i think..so only they have said they are coming to see geet with their son..

Mohinder:she is still studying rano..

Rano:but u r not paying for her studies..its me..im only paying for her'she has finished school that's enuf..i have decided,she will get married..

Mohinder..dont u think that u must have informed me before..

Rano:if u are a responsible person I would have said it..but now I don't think I should inform u..

Mohinder:what if I have not arrived today..u would have married her too without my knowledge.

Rano:if I could I will do it too..

Rano was scared what if this relation brokes becoz of mohinder..n in that anguish she was telling things what came in her mouth..

Mohinder:is she my daughter?or someone else..that u are taking decisions without asking me..i am her father..

Geet n tej:papa..

Mohinder n suraj closed their ears not able to hear the words of humiliation..

Rano in stern voice:tej,geet go inside..

Both went ..the words which childrens should not hear..their identity is questioned..

Meera came back silently..not to go inside..

Madhav:yahi baaki tha sunnekeliye..he said in hurt voice..

Mohinder realized what he said..

Mohinder:i..am'sry..bauji..

Suraj:bolne se pehle ,did u thought jiju..i never expected this from you..u were irresponsible..did not take care of childrens..let them suffer in poverty..but now u raised ur fingers on ur wifes character..

Rano:leave it bhai..what can u expect from him..if he can he will sell geet or gamble too..

Mohinder:rano..

Rano:don't shout..chillana tho mujko be aatha hai...kya galath kaha meine..to drink u can stoop to any level..i want my daughters life secure..not like me.. u claim her as ur daughter .ok..earn some money atleast one day salary n come..i will stop her marriage..or u will listen to me..

Mohinder left the place..

Madhav:rano..what will u say tomorrow if they come..

Rano:whatever is written in geets fate let it happen..but I want it soon..
