I looked at pari and then looking on geet i said -"Sorry geet,but I can't hide the truth anymore."-geet watched me with confusion.
Pari jumped in excitment-"I knew it, I knew it. "- smacking geet on her shoulder pari complained-" and you , my so called best friend. You tried to hide it from me, not fair."
Geet was looking at me ,all the time. Her face changed from confusion to shock and then to anger . I was little nervous as i had no idea what will be her reaction.
Pari said to me-" So, you were acting infront of me because of her. I should have guessed that, she does not share anything personal easily."
Geet glared at pari but pari continued giving no attention toward her-"In school too , she had crush on a boy but she never told me at that time. Few days back, i came to know about this matter."
Geet tried to stop pari and said with anger-" stop it pari, there is nothing going between me and Mr. Khurana."
"Geet, I think she have right to know about each and everything as she is our common friend."- my words just added fuel in the fire.
"what should she know? I have already told her about everything , which is important and happening in my life."-geet attacked on me with her words .
"You have told her about us. I never knew this. "- I said showing my surprise.My statement was enough to bring back pari in conversation.
"You liar, you never told me anything about maan and you. You had not even told me, when your brother have gone out of delhi."-she pouted showing geet that she is angry and then with sad face she added-" You know how much i am missing rajveer"
Geet anger flew out of window, listening pari's complain. I guessed may be this is effect of her brother's name.
"Sorry, my would be sister in law, But I had strict order from your would be husband. So how i could have ignored that."-hearing geet's word, pari's cheeks glowed red.Geet hold her ears making baby face.
She was looking too cute with that baby face. But who knows better than me, in reality how cunning she is.
Pari was looking down and playing with her hands when she ask geet-"when is he coming?"
Geet teases her-"you sound very desperate to meet my brother. oops sorry ,your would be husband"-pari was totally red now. Putting aside her teasing geet said-"he will come back very soon dear, "
I was sitting there quitely. I was in deep thinking how to extract information about geet. I have to bring back pari to our previous Conversation before it goes totally out of track.
