u have kept the suspense intact...

i'm still guessing who is the culprit..

abhi abhi to geet lag rahi hai.. but geet to heroine hai to villain kaun hai..
waiitng for this suspense to be out..

chapter 22

I looked at pari and then looking on geet i said -"Sorry geet,but I can't hide the truth anymore."-geet watched me with confusion.

Pari jumped in excitment-"I knew it, I knew it. "- smacking geet on her shoulder pari complained-" and you , my so called best friend. You tried to hide it from me, not fair."

Geet was looking at me ,all the time. Her face changed from confusion to shock and then to anger . I was little nervous as i had no idea what will be her reaction.

Pari said to me-" So, you were acting infront of me because of her. I should have guessed that, she does not share anything personal easily."

Geet glared at pari but pari continued giving no attention toward her-"In school too , she had crush on a boy but she never told me at that time. Few days back, i came to know about this matter."

Geet tried to stop pari and said with anger-" stop it pari, there is nothing going between me and Mr. Khurana."

"Geet, I think she have right to know about each and everything as she is our common friend."- my words just added fuel in the fire.

"what should she know? I have already told her about everything , which is important and happening in my life."-geet attacked on me with her words .

"You have told her about us. I never knew this. "- I said showing my surprise.My statement was enough to bring back pari in conversation.

"You liar, you never told me anything about maan and you. You had not even told me, when your brother have gone out of delhi."-she pouted showing geet that she is angry and then with sad face she added-" You know how much i am missing rajveer"

Geet anger flew out of window, listening pari's complain. I guessed may be this is effect of her brother's name.

"Sorry, my would be sister in law, But I had strict order from your would be husband. So how i could have ignored that."-hearing geet's word, pari's cheeks glowed red.Geet hold her ears making baby face.

She was looking too cute with that baby face. But who knows better than me, in reality how cunning she is.

Pari was looking down and playing with her hands when she ask geet-"when is he coming?"

Geet teases her-"you sound very desperate to meet my brother. oops sorry ,your would be husband"-pari was totally red now. Putting aside her teasing geet said-"he will come back very soon dear, "

I was sitting there quitely. I was in deep thinking how to extract information about geet. I have to bring back pari to our previous Conversation before it goes totally out of track.

chapter 23

I cleared my throat to gain their attention and said to geet-"I am very disappointed geet. You never told me about your brother"

Anger in geet eyes were back. She said to me with all her rudeness-"And why do you think that I will tell you about this?"

Pari tried to stop our fight and said-" geet you forgot ,you had some urgent work. Now lunch is finished too. So, you may go and finish that work."

Pari was not the type of people, who send packing people, beside she love to chat. I wondered , why she is sending geet?"

Geet litsening to pari's word looked at her with pure look of desbelif. I think, she is also unable to digest the fact that pari is reminding her of work. All the time she was the one who stop people from leaving in hope to chat more. Something is cooking in pari's mind for sure.

Geet was now shooting glares at pari too and in anger tried to standup but fall in my lap soon. I hold her waist in reflex. Geet had closed her eye in fear. When she did not hit the floor. She opened her eye and looked at me. She had put her arms around my neck in fear of falling further and our faces were just few centimeters away.

Pari cleared her throat . Geet looked at her and then our position. She was clearly embarrased. I released her waist from my hold. She shifted back to her previous position on sofa and mumbled sorry."

Pari teased her-"If you so much wanted to hug him, you should have hugged him in proper way. You need not to act infront of me."

Geet face was going red even more as the time was passing,I don't know it was due to anger or embarrasment. She told pari clearly-" I fall down accidently, it was not intentional. Actually my leg is numb, may be due to sitting in one position for long time."

Pari looked at her with teasing look and said-" Actually it's my fault. I should have given you two some time alone."-saying so she stoodup and started moving toward door -" I will be back after drinking water."

"No need to leave I am going out "-Geet said in hurry and picking up her purse again stand up to go. Numbness of her leg has not gone completely , I can say that watching her walk behind pari to door but in no way she was going to wait here for single minute and bear pari's teasing.

Pari stopped at door and said further to embarass her-"don't go like this. Maan will get angry from me for interrupting your romance."

Geet walked out without any delay.
I sighed sitting there as pari walked back to me and sit on sofa.
