Naina: raj cant maan too get married with arjun.. I want to see him get married too….

Raj was flabbergasted with her demand..but he knew what his wife wants to say….

Raj: naina do you know what are you saying …. Maan.. how is it possible… and maan too is not ready we cant force him…

Naina: app jaante hain na that I didn't want to trust my faith..but please I want to see maan married too before this surgery…. Agar mujhe kuch ho gaya toh…

there was a certain kind of fear for her life that she was feeling right now being a mother

she was having all kinds of expectations and aspirations for her children but now a sudden revelation about her health had left her in a sudden fix.. now she wants her son to get settled in her life…

raj was getting what she was trying to say but how can they maan's marriage in a hurry .. everything will be in a sudden muddle if they did and maan will he agree for his mother's sake and the girl who he is going to marry…. Naina actually forget that they will need a girl for maan which he didn't think that his dear wife even thought off….

Raj: naina how we can take this decision ..its maan;s life and we cant compel him to do anything… the right that we gave to arjun for living and selecting his life partner holds for maan too…. Hum use majboor nahi kar sakte….

Raj was indeed right… she couldn't force her son…. She was quiet for sometime when maan came in the ward… he saw his mom having drip in her hand she was not looking like her usual self…. He gave a slight smile .. the emotional turmoil that he has been facing from the moment he saw her in the hospital bed was something he didn't want to experience again…..

Maan sat near her and hold her hand.. naina could see some un shed tears and the fear of loosing his mother in his chocolate brown orbs….

Naina like to assure maan….

Naina: main theek hun maan…

Maan just averted his gaze and looked at her hand …

Maan: I know mom aap theek ho …. But don't you ever do this again to me.. you know what bhai and I have felt on seeing you unconscious…

Raj thought that was not needed there at that time.. so when he tried to go ..naina stopped him and didn't allowed him to go.. he knew that nothing can change naina's decision and that was what he was dreading.. he didn't knew maan's reaction or his decision but he didn't want his son's life to get spoiled for a decision that will be taken in haste….

Naina: maan I want something from you…..

Maan looked at her with his piercing gaze ..he was ready to do anything for his mother she just need to voice out…

Maan: maa you don't need to ask me just order me.. boliye what should I do to make my mother happy….

Naina : I want to see you settle maan … I want to see my both sons married before…

Maan glared at her and didn't let her utter her those words… he knew the meaning and impact of her words on him and arjun …

Naina pouted and complaint to raj….

Naina: see raj look how he is trying to scare me with his eyes.. maan ye mat bhool that I am your mother….

Raj second his son…

Raj: maan is right naina.. mera beta bilkul theek kar raha hai….

maan smiled on winning a battle…

maan was tensed what to do... he cant say no... but saying a YES WONT HARM HIM...
after all everyone have to get settled in his life...

maan looked at his mom and dad ..he smiled a bit...

maan: mom as you wish ..i am ready with your choice...

there was a smile on his face but a sudden uneasiness was also there that was due to a sudden change that was going to be happen in his life...

maan: mom I will get married but you don't need to stress…

raj couldn't believe that maan had just said a YES but the girl he knew his son that If he had decided anything he will do that..so to clear his one doubt about maan's bride he himself asked him…

raj: maan is there someone in your life…. We will talk to her parents … we are having no objection with your choice….

Maan knew that it was coming but how he say a tes when he himself is not aware if he had ever anyone in his life..or in his heart whom he always wanted in his life… there was a deep desire for someone in the depths. Of his heart but the face is still to be unveiled….

Maan frowned….

Daadima and arjun saw him looking just like a baby..the way he used to get annoyed in their childhood the same way he was behaving now.. naina dreaded her decision for sometime thinking maan was just saying yes for her ….

Maan looked at daadima and made her sit near his mom..and stand beside arjun…

Maan: mom wo kaam toh daadima ne kiya hoga na.. she was the one who had to select a bride for me.. daadima tell them about our pact… didn't I told you that you will select a bride for me…. So mom ask daadima.. coz I don't have anyone in my life… meri kismat bhai jaisi kahan hai…

Arjun knew that maan was doing all this to make the atmosphere lighter ..moreover if maan even had anyone in his life then he would be the first one to know….

Maan kneeled down and took naian's hand…

Maan:mom aap jise mere liye pasand karogi she will be perfect for me I know my mom will select the best partner for her maan… aur phir I don't even trust anyone not even my own choice…

Naina tried to object but maan assured her….

Maan: mom don't you ever think that I am doing this just because when ever it would have happen ladki toh aap hi pasand karti na… so I am ready to see my mother's choice….

Maan next turned to arjun…

Maan: bhai come with me we need to know about mum's surgery … jitna jaldi ho jaye utna acha hai…. Haina dad….

Arjun: lets go …

Before they can go…

Naina: nahi.. surgery will be after arjun's and maan's wedding….

ARJUN AND MAAN: KYA!!!!!!!

Raj and daadima glared at naina… while she ignored their gaze….

Maan: agar aisa hai toh I am not getting married…

Arjun: mom don't you think I cant postpone or even cancel wedding for now.. arohi will understand… so tell me what do you think what we should do….

Naina: both of you even tried to think of it…. And arjun .. its just nine days… I promise just after your marriage I will do whatever you both will want….

Maan: mom you know my decision and I am going to meet the doctor….

Arjun: let me also come maan….

The doctors assured maan and arjun that they can wait for some fifteen days if naina is not ready for her surgery…. Moreover they cant operate upon her if her BP and sugar level are not in control….

( here I am taking writer's liberity of including things .. since I am not from medical background so have very little knowledge .. don't get mad at me dearies…)

But maan was not convinced … he specially told his mother that the very next day she is going to have By- pass surgery ..and he will not listen to her then….

Naina was discharged that day…. And her sons didn't left any stone untouched in her care…. Even now arjun who was had officially taken off from his work was at his mother's service… sometimes naina would get annoyed but it didn't affected neither arjun nor maan…

After a day of naina's discharge… maan had already left for his important meeting..while the whole khurana household was busy in preparations… when naina went to meet her MIL..

Naina: maa .. I need to talk to you… maan ki shaadi ke liye ..

Raj who was looking for his dear wife came to his mother's room only to see the saas bahu engrossed in match making…. Raj had already though that naina would leave the topic for now..but on seeing her now he knew that they were definitely going to have two weddings on the same day….

Daadima: naina aapne kisi ko pasand kiya hai kya maan ki shaadi ke liye… agar nahi toh humne kiya hai…. Hum chahte hain ki maan ki dulhan wohi bane…. She will be a perfect life partner for maan…..

raj: kon maa.. this time raj was more than eager to know….

Daadima: geet… I think both of you are happy with my choice… naina bataiye aap..aakir aapki bahu hogi geet… and maan wont say NO to her ..

Naina was having no doubt that geet will actually be a good no perfect and somewhere next to ideal wife and a DIL for this house… she was having no doubt on her MIL's choice and even raj's expressions seems to be contented…

Raj: then I should call mohindar ji and tell him that we want to meet them… jitni jal di ho jaye utna acha hai…..

The ladies agreed with him…

Here someone's life was being written when he was just unaware of what is going to happen next…..

Sitting in the centre of the hall.. she was looking herself like a bride.. a peach and green and orange color veil on her forehead..a small nose ring teasing her lips.. there was a small smile a small play of naughtiness in those eyes which were glittering with the surprise that she was going to give…

A small melody touched everyone's ears….

Everyone was seated waiting for her …

She lifted her hand swaying with the beat..changing her position from sitting to sway like a perfect dancer…..

every word seems to be true.. she twirled making everyone gasped at her perfect moves… she was dancing with a naughtiness.. for her sister.. her every word was just for arohi….

she gracefully did her moves.. here the elders were surprised seeing her perfection in depicting her emotions with her words.. first time geet was nervous ..as she was doing it as for her sister .. she was actually portraying aru's mind….

tears gathered in her eyes… but a smile adorned her lips remembering some one….

She showed her dark hands that were adorned with heena.. unknowingly her hand reached there where he was standing.. looking at her .. she was speaking the words that were suiting them perfectly…..
