A tear or two touched my eye at Geet's innocence and understand completely why Rano was irked with her innocence. Such innocence can sometimes be so damaging, as we saw in Geet's case. A mother couldn't help but feel overwhelmed in such a situation.

I have heard of the Shivalinga theory before. I loved how you used it in the context of a sensitive subject between a mother and a daughter. It is not about whether it is correct or incorrect, or whether it is right or wrong. There are so many stories that come with a ancient civilization like India, stories that over a period of time become legends and no one person can say with absolute certainty that his theory is the correct one.

Just today my friend was talking about the "The Shiva Trilogy" and has asked me to read it. I am going to start on the first book sometime soon. It's called "The Immortals Of Melhua".

Anyways, back to the chapter. One of the simple yet profound things I liked about this chapter was how Mohinder and Rano still have their tea together, It says a lot about their relationship and also, it is our daily automated routine and habits that gets us through the turmoil and turbulence life brings our way.

So, Geet is a teacher. I was wondering how she would be reintroduced to us as an adult and I think I like her as a teacher.

Waiting to see what she is like an adult and whether she has still retained some of Chidi's innocence.😃

I have read first part of shiva trilogy "Immortals of Meluha"..Writer have mixed all the mythological basics with some science and his imagination to produce this tale...I think you would like it..😊 I have not read the rest two parts yet...😊
