U knw I also wishd once that she shud die instead of suffering for lifetime physically,mentally and socially. Bt whn I listend that evn aftr hr worse condition she wishd to live I prayed to God dat she shud live and if anyone said in front of me that she shud b dead I used to fight wid them. U reawoke al memories of that incident. Its a nice one hw u show abt d male ego and its results.

I read this story a few days ago, but just could not bring myself to comment on it. All I could think was, just as he is guilty of male ego I am guilty too. And my guilt is because of the apathy i have shown towrds this incident. The inaction on my part makes me feel very, very guilty.

I raged and ranted when the incident happened. I was boiling mad and was ready to kill somebody. Had discussions and arguements with friends and colleagues and then as time passed by and as I started getting involved in my day to day activities I dared to put this incident at the back of my mind.

I became the worst kind of perpetrator. A perpetrator of apathy. Cause I took no action and my inaction is my crime.

Thank you for reminding me that she cannot and will not be forgotten. Thank you picking up your virtual pen and penning for all of us a reminder that to be apathetic is to support the crime, automatically.

I promise nobody but myself, that going forward, I will not forget. And I will act.

This is such a cold hearted truth of our society.. It is very sad that we have to suffer through these problems and many women are still suffering without any fault. Who knows when can we live in a society where we can actually be safe and protected? But coming to the story, though it was heart wrenching you have written and portrayed this topic so beautifully that it touched my heart deeply. May that girl's and all the other victims souls rest in peace!
