den TRULY MAGICAL...geet aur uski bachchan...hiii...bechara maan kita try karte hai usse bolne k liye ki wohi maan singh khurana hai...magar geet toh geet hi hai na...maan ko manane k liye uske saath mumbai jaana...phir uske liye apne army k sapne chhod dena...amazing...mostly maanvi...aur jab laste bolti hai k ''apne bahut derr kar diye ane mein, abb sambhalo apne beti ko,humein tang karke rakh diye,kahanse layun uske liye blue baby''...na koi gila, na koi shikba...sirf pyar aur pyar...its truly magical...

There were so many brilliant moments in Irrevocably Yours by Samira: the car ride through the haunted road and the subsequent armpit disaster...the initial night on the cliff with Geet's fall...the scene towards the end with Maan on the bench talking to God...Shut up and Bounce 😆 But the scene that stuck the most, the scene I still can't get over is the one after Maan finds out about Geet's illness and ends up being beaten by the guards and cherishing the pain. Every blow, every cry came straight out of the story and into my heart. Samira really outdid herself there for me.

Coming to REEL...actually, I don't think I can. When it comes to this story, I cannot pick out just one scene. I cannot even pick out several and say 'these were the best parts of the story'...they were all the best part. Those who have read this story will understand, I think. That said, there is one scene that holds a special place in my heart. I don't think I would call it my favourite scene but it was a turning point for me. One of the last things I read the first time I read the story, also the reason I slept peacefully for the first time in a while that night. The 7th take.

I never got to finish New York Times, for which I consider myself very unfortunate. It is a beautiful story and Hasini is a gifted writer. I still get that hot chocolate feeling while thinking about that story. My favourite parts were Naini and Rishab's scenes in their home, especially the treehouse, Geet's plane ride to San Francisco and of course, the Mar Jawan sequence. I still can't listen to that song without feeling at peace and thinking of white kurtas.

Finally, the ongoing Web of Love...Shika, the writer, writes skilfully as well as beautifully and she knows just how to tug at your heartstrings while subsequently making you laugh out loud. My favourite part, not a scene per se, is the Letters I Could Never Post. It made me think not just about Geet herself but also about India Forums and its writers, about what they share and why. If you have not read this story yet, I strongly recommend it.

Well, that's all from me. I'm sure I'm missing out on many but these are the ones off the top of my head. Great topic, by the way. It was a nice way to reminisce old memories.
