Part 4

"Geet we reached. it's my home''

Geet turned to him then a direction where Maan, was pointing to. She got stunned to see, a huge place. A tremendous building reflected in her brown eyes and her mind jolted with a thought "Is it really his house?'' she could not imagined in her farthermost dream that Brij could have found this immense household for her. She was expecting for stringent place but here Maan was claiming this Mansion, his own. Various thoughts were playing in her semi-conscious mind when maan found her again lost and called for gaining her attention back "Geet!''

"Huh-- ji''

"We are here, let's go'

"ye aapka ghar hai?'' her brain could not keep this disarray for long and finally spoke out without thinking a bit

"Ye kaisa sawal hai? Of course its mine. Now come inside-''

Geet was about to open her seat-belt when "No wait Geet-- you don't come now. Let me go first. I think I should talk Dadi first before, she meets you''

Geet had nothing to reject and so, she gave her nod. Maan came out with straight face, closed car door after giving her one glimpse on his tensed eyes and headed toward inside.

"Dadima !! '' ' Dev??'' --"Nakul, where is dadi?'' After not finding them anywhere Maan located Nakul, his head servant and questioned.

"Maan sir, aap abhi aaye hai?? '' Nakul stated with confusion.

"Haa-- why! What happened?'' Maan frowned seeing worry lines on Nakul face and a strange quietness was occupied in every corner of Mansion.

"Sir Dadima is in hospital''

"What!!!'' The land on which Maan was stood, vanished in the very moment he heard this set of words. His mind did not rejoinder anything in reflex of very demand of the moment and rushed out, to his car.

Geet was eagerly waiting for judgment of her future. Will she able to earn a roof above her head or the shadow of her being a girl, by forced been threw out from her own house, would again, leave her rootless. She was fearing and praying with heart and soul to her Babaji. Her eyes was curious to see any ray of hope comes from the door where Maan had entered, inside, few minutes back. She was staring without blink to the same wooden door and when it opened. Her eyes became bigger then biggest to see him, running toward her. Her heart started coming out in reflex, it was going impossible for her to breath in anticipation and then her last wish of being alive in her life, disappeared. She knew, knew Dadi will not accept her, this marriage. ''Mai jaanti thi'' her entire body was burning in frozen flames, crying bitterly but eyes, did not drop a single tear. She had no one to show her sorrowful-drops and so she was sitting broken with no emotions on face.

Car paused on hospital entrance. Maan was on call with Dev since he started driving to hospital, in no sense to tell her anything. His own mind was completely mess and was not heedful that could converse with Geet at same moment. He jumped out and rushed inside. He started searching for Dadi, asked for her. He was panicking unusually.

"Bro!!!'' dev called from behind. Maan turned to him, rushed there. "Dev how is Dadi??''

"Bro she is fine now. Relax''

Maan calmed down little. He met to doctors and enquired about Dadi health. He had been told it was a minor attack and now she is okay, but she need less stress of mind and peaceful atmosphere for fast recovery. "Aap unhe ghar leja sakte hai'' Doctor stated.

Maan and Dev were handling all processes of discharge. "Ye sab hua kaise??'' he asked Dev.

"I'm sorry bro, ye sab meri wajah se hua. I was talking on phone to friends about what happened in Hoshiyaarpur, about Kidnapping n all and Dadiji heard me. She could not tolerate and collapsed Bro, I'm really sorry'' Dev was in guilt.

Maan did not reply. His worry increased hearing Dev. He composed and went to meet Dadi . Dadi hugged him, was missing him badly. "Maan beta where were you??'' meekly she said, sobbed.

"I'm sorry Dadima wo .. kaam ki wajah se--''

"you always think about your work maan , what if something had happened to me. Kya karte aap boliye'' She choked

"Please dadi, nothing can happen to you. Aap shant ho jaaiye'' Dadi was maan only weakness. He loved her more than his own life, could not think even little, to give any pain to her. She meant the world for him. "ghar chaliye Dadi''

They came out and moved to car, when Maan remember about Geet. He stopped in way.

"Dev tum dadi ko ghar leke jaao, mai abhi aata hu''

"But Bro you--'

"Dev,, wo mai office hoke aata hu. I ll be back soon dont worry''

Before dadi could stop, he disappeared from their sight. After driving some far he stopped somewhere, side on road "Now where will she stay!!'' he thought.

Geet did not know why they were in hospital. She had no courage to go and search for him and no sense to guess anything. She feared, a strange uneasiness covered her entire body and mind. She was waiting for him like always. It was like, this car had became her new home. She was afraid to come out seeing this big city and passing unknown people. After a hour she found Maan with two people. She guessed them to be Dadi and Dev. She saw Maan was supporting Dadi and after a while, Maan rushed to her and they drove off.

In Car,

Both were silent, lost in their own respective thoughts. Geet was taking glimpse of him now n then. Her heart was crying looking his state. She knew her being with him had brought a huge storm in his peaceful life. She was cursing herself, had shame on her own fate. Her thought halted when they stopped in front of a building. "Come Geet'' she heard and found Maan was going out of car, toward entrance. She followed him. She was feeling very odd. Her heavy bridal attire was giving her various kind of looks from passing people. She hastes , brought her steps near Maan who, was walking straight, without any grimace.

They reached to center area, stopped before a desk where a girl was present. Geet did not hear what Maan was talking to her as she was busy in staring the grand decorations of interior. "Sir your sign please!!'' Girl spoke. Maan was to write Maan' and then paused. He turned back, saw Geet. With a very mixed expression he signed "Mr & Mrs. Khurana''.

"Let's Go Geet'' He turned to her and headed to lift .. "aaj raat mujhe Geet ko yahi chorna hoga'' he thought...
