First Sight
I have been living by myself since my parents' death in a car accident after my graduation. They had left me enough that I could start my own business. My father had always wanted to see me as a successful person and here I was fulfilling his dream. Now I am the most successful business man and my company is considered one of the best companies of the world. My name is Maan Singh Khurana and I am the MD of Khurana Constructions.
I have no one in this world except my grandmother and my best friend Dev. Dev has been my closest friend since we were in college. He's like a brother I never had. Dev got married to his love lady two years ago and now they're going to have a baby. They're gonna have family. I have seen the love Dev and his wife Meera have for each other. Sometimes seeing them makes me feel as if I am deprived of everything and everyone. But seeing my one and only relative alive, I cherish the moments with her, my grandmother, Savitri Khurana. She's the jolliest person I've ever seen of her age. She is getting old and wants me to get married and have a family of my own and she is hell bent to get me married. She has even got Dev to convince me for the marriage. But I don't want to. Maybe I'm waiting for someone special to come in my life like Meera in Dev's life. I want my wife to love me not my money and status. I have made my point clear in front of my daadi maa and Dev and they respect my opinion but Daadi maa being herself keeps on bugging me.
Spring had begun and everything was usual in our street. I was leaving for work at my usual time when I saw Mrs. Adams' door opening and a girl coming out with Mrs. Adams behind her. Seems as if Mrs. Adams got a new paying guest. She was different than the other girls I had seen in my life. She gave a weak smile to Mrs. Adams and left in her car. When she drove away I realized that I was noticing a girl. I had never done that before. I pushed away my thoughts and drove to work.
Next day I came out at my usual time to leave for work and sat in my car. That's when I saw her again. She was dressed simply but seemed elegant. Hair tied in a bun and she was wearing glasses. She again smiled at Mrs. Adams and started driving. As I started to drive towards my office, I noticed the same girl's car in the other lane at a red signal. When the signal turned green I took left and the girl went to her right. And yet again I had been unintentionally noticing her.
On the next day I again saw her and luckily her car stopped at the same signal with my car behind her. We both were in the same lane. Today I had to meet Meera for some work in her university where she was a lecturer. The signal turned green and today I also turned right. The road to the university was not much busy so I drove a bit fast and in the parking lot when I got out of my car I saw HER again. Does she work here or study? I was getting curious now. I don't know why but I wanted to know. I locked my car and when I looked at where she was standing, the girl was gone. Then I remembered that I here to meet Meera. I went in her office but found that she was not in there which meant that she was taking her class. I looked at her class schedule and found that she'd be free at 10:30 am and now it was 9:35 am. I wanted to meet her and the go to work so I decided to look around. I was feeling too hot so I took off my waist coat. As I left Meera's office, I saw HER. She had a folder and a huge pile of papers with her. She was walking fast and I just went behind her. She went inside a door. I stood outside it for a while. Then I opened the door and saw many faces turn in my direction along with HER's. She was standing on a dice. "You're in my class?" she said, to which I nodded subconsciously. "Find yourself a seat and sit down". The next thing I knew was that I was sitting in the second last row of the lecture hall. When she started talking I was mesmerized by her voice, by the way she spoke and how she walked to the white board and back to the dias while talking. I didn't know when everyone started to get out. I was mesmerized by her flawless beauty. She seemed do perfect. After taking her stuff she started walking out and my legs started to go behind her as if on their own accord. I saw her stop and she smiled at someone, and that someone was Meera. Meera had seen me and gestured that she'll come in a minute. When Meera came to me I was still looking at HER.
O hello Mr. Khurana! Where are you lost", I heard Meera say moving her hand in front of my eyes. That's when I realized that Meera was in front of me. "Umm Meera who was she?" I asked while directing towards HER. "She? She's my friend Geet". "Geet", I said. What a beautiful name it was. "Why are you asking? Any problem?". "Meera can you please introduce me to her?", that's what I heard myself say and I knew it was a big mistake but the beans had been spilled now. I saw Meera's teasing smile, "So, Mr., Khurana, who had himself sprayed with a girl repellant every day, forgot to do so today huh?" "Meera stop it. I'm serious". Meera started moving towards her office while laughing, "I know you're a VERY serious person but your sense of humor is awesome". I followed Meera inside her office, "Come on Meera I'm dead serious". "Weren't you here for some work?" Meera said teasing Maan further. Maan sighed and got to work.
I got home late at night. Daadi maa had already gone to bed. I ate my dinner and went to lie on my bed to sleep. I closed my eyes and was about to sleep when my mobile vibrated. I cursed the person who messaged me at this time of night. Seeing the sender I double cursed her. It was Meera.
Come to the party tomorrow or else you'll miss something BIG and you'll repent later. No questioning now. Good night ;)
That's why I hated Meera. She was such a blackmailer. Meera had invited me to a party to which I didn't wanted to go but when Meera blackmails like this she's dead serious. So I decided to go

Note.. SS will finish in4-6 parts hopefully.. and i have already written the first 3 parts so like and comment to get 'em ;) had this in my mind for quite sometime so had to let it out :P
