So, the first chapter was Maan reminiscing about the happier, more loving times of the relationship... and now in this chapter we can see that the situation is the complete opposite.

Geet hints at a 'mess' which leads me to believe that something happened between then and now which has led them to become so distant with each other. It feels like Geet's cold attitude towards her husband is piercing his heart, hence his disappointment and last glances... I can't wait to find out what exactly transpired between Mr and Mrs Khurana.

You have me well and truly hooked Zarin!

I actually had a lot of questions in my mind regarding this update when I read it but as soon as I got here to comment, they're all gone!

Just a few things for now. Was the couple actually Maan and Geet? Maan's behaviour in this update doesn't seem like it. But then he said see you at home. 😕 And when Maan said 'goodnight' to her, she replied with a 'goodbye'. Was this some kind of an 'ishara' towards something? And, and, Heer doesn't seem to know Geet's marital status (that is, if the woman is her), what does this mean?

I wouldn't say you are over-speculating. You've picked up on pretty much all of the little things and then some ;)

As for some of the other things, I would say that a good place to start looking for a few thoughts and answers would be ninand's and sanjh89's takes.

Yay me first!

Okay so evidently they live a routine whereby the less social interaction they share, the happier they are. Or is it so...?

From their behaviour & the subtle hints of the conversation, it seems like they crave nothing more than to be open with each other again, but this mysterious something holds them back.

Why did Geet make the first move towards him, I wonder? I guess only time will tell...

P.S. I'm loving these regular updates. Keep them regular if you can before I torture you with barfi mwahahahaha

secnd tme ..wht i felt ...i sensed ws dt dey do wnt to go bck on their regular routine which used to comprise of chattng n bickerng( I assumd tht on the ground of MAAN's reactn whn GEET initiatd...
... n GEET mst hv felt guilty abt hr behavior lst nght which appeard rude on frst imulse( wht ws the reason s still undr ur veil) ... their conversation ws simple...an e.g. of one which generally happens btw our parents...let alone the youngr couples...
my take thus s... smthng which s still unknown s stoppng thm(e.g. suddn chnge to bewilderment) n tht cn b removd if only..."DID THEY...JUST GET ALONG?" happend few mre tmes...

pretty lng ...eh? wht to do ... culdn't stp myslf...
