She looked up and saw the same handsome face with stubble, alluring eyes, m-shaped lips taut body and her heart started to beat loudly again. She could feel her heart beating in her ears.
He saw her beautiful face after 4 months and was overwhelmed, but anger took over his happiness when he saw her wearing tracksuit, which was sticking to her body.
She was looking pretty no doubt but she was looking fragile too. It is true that she was not taking proper care of her after what happened between them.
She was looking into his eyes; first they were full of surprise then happiness and now anger. She narrowed her eyebrows like asking him, 'what?'
Suddenly he became all emotionless and stared at her in his own stern chief way and said, "Take a seat miss handa we have to discuss all lot of things."
She was shocked to see this side of Maan, being so professional like he doesn't even know her.
She sits quietly waiting for him to start. He was pretending to look into some papers but actually he was confused where to start.
He was surprised, for the first time Maan Singh Khurana don't know how to ask a witness about the incident. He calmed down and said, "SO from the beginning tell me what happened?"
She was again surprised and this time she asked him, "what? The incident, only the incident! Nothing else u want to know - like my personal information or something?"
Maan said sternly, " Miss you Handa I keep my personal and professional life apart and I am not here to marry you that I need to know your personal condition and all."
Geet was startled by his rudeness but keep herself calm and composed and said, "yeah about the incident, I was going back home from my Dance academy which is in Gurgaon. Ok this is personal now, sorry for that."
She said this on purpose and continued the whole incident. She avoided looking into his eyes; she was not able to take his cold demeanor towards her.
She finished and asked worriedly, "Adi said that its dangerous to go out alone because one that guy was a gangster or something and have seem my face and fled he will definitely search for me and then kill me? Is it true?"
"Don't worry jab tak mein hun tab tak, I mean jab tak humari team ke members hen tumhare saath they wont be able to touch you." He said realizing what he was saying.
He saw her smirking and turned his head a little then gave her a form type paper to fill, "Here fill it." He said.
"yeh kya h?" she asked confused.
"We need your information so that we can get in your contact whenever we want." He said standing up from his chair.
"But aapne abhi toh kaha ki one of your team member will be with me then why?" Geet asked sweetly.
Maan was losing his control and shouted, "Miss Handa I am not bound to answer all your stupid questions."
She was really irritated with this behavior of his like he doesn't even know her.
She took the form and started filling it quietly with a gol-gappa face and gave it to him and he went out quietly. He went out and smiled and thought, 'child woman!'
She was bored of sitting alone, so went out and she saw Adi working on his PC.
She was bored and famished also. She knocked on his door.
He saw Geet standing there and was looking tired and worn out he called her in and asked her sit. She was hesitating to ask him for food, he said, "geet you need something? Please tell me you are like my sister. Don't hesitate."
"Adi do you have something to eat I am too much hungry I haven't eaten my lunch also aur pata nhi yahan aur kitni der tak rukna h. mujhe chakkr aa rhe hen khali pet." She made a puppy face and asked him kindly.
He smile and said, "abhi toh mere pass sirf yeh biscuits hen," he searched then in his drawer and hand the packet to her, "but don't worry I will order something for you bolo kya khana h? Chinese, thai, Indian, Italian?"
"Chinese, I love, order chilli garlic noodles with veg Manchurian, with spring rolls and hot and sour chiken noodle soup and- yeah that's it."
He thought she is ordering for both of them and was going to say that he is not hungry but was surprise to hear, "oh sorry tumse toh poocha hi nhi tum bhi kuch khaogey?"
he adjusted his spectacles and said, "no Geet I am full abhi dinner kiya h. I shall order your food." He ordered her food and went out to talk to Maan.
She was lying on the couch at the side of the cabin with her head resting on a bid cushion and watching Maan from the blinds. He saw her peeping from the blinds and watching him working.
He was happy that he is getting attention from a girl who have already stole his heart but he is not ready to accept that fact because he was scared that she will leave him again one day, hurt, broken down and shattered.
He was very much angry when he realized the fact that Geet have left him actually. He was filled with rage and left India the very next day to give rest to his mind and heart.
And when he came back he saw that his life is so colorless and gloomy without her.
He tried to divert his mind by tiring him at work then at gym but no use, whenever he use to close his eyes to sleep her face would come in front of his closed eyes, he could hear her soft giggling sounds at the back of his mind.
He snapped out of his thought and concentrated on his work but couldn't. He too sees her from corner of his eyes time to time.
He saw Adi going inside his cabin with some boxes and polybag, looking like food.
He rolled his eyes, 'iske khane ki aadat abhi bhi nhi badli. No matter what the condition is she wants her food.' And sighed thinking that.
She was waiting for the food to come and as soon as the smell of hot noodles hit her nostrils she ran towards Adi and snatched the packets from his hands and started eating the noodles from the box itself.
She was so hungry that she ate all the noodles and didn't even asked Adi, who was standing there with his mouth wide open like he is watching a woman eating food for the first time.
Yash who just entered and saw Adi with his mouth wide open shut his mouth and turned to see that Geet was eating noodles like a coyote.
He was also too much hungry and ran towards her and asked, "Anything left?"
Geet who was busy eating her mouth was stuffed with noodles answered, "ummmooo nooollss eiii eiii" Yash who was giving her weird expressions asked her finish the food first.
She gulped her noodles down and said, "I was saying noodles are finish we can share the spring rolls, Manchurian and the soup."
Yash who was very hungry didn't wait for her to divide the things and started eating like this is the last time he is eating in this lifetime.
Geet was shocked but the sudden realization that the food is going to finish soon and she is still not full hit her and she too started snatching and eating like him only.
Adi who was watching them both fighting over food shook his head in dismay and went out.
Maan saw Adi coming out of his cabin and called him, "Adi"
Adi went towards him and said, "yes sir."
"Umm, the procedure is done and its quite late so will you drop Geet before going home?" Maan asked him.
"mein… sir… umm… Sure Sir but sir kal se Geet ke saath kaun rahega?" Adi asked
Maan who was watching Yash and Geet fighting over food was boiling with jealousy, 'how dare he eats with my Geet'
he was lost when Adi's voice brought him back, "Sirr"
"Yeahh." Maan said.
"Sir Geet ke saath kaun rahega Kal se?" Adi repeated.
"Me…. Tum," he was going to say 'mein' but stopped in middle, "tum aur kaun, beech mein jab tumhe kuch kaam hoga toh Taruna yeah Yash ko bhej dena. Aur kabhi kabhi mein chala jaya karunga." Maan said
Adi asked in shockingly, "AAP!!!"
Maan looked at him sternly and said, "kyun koi problem h?"
Adi shook his head negatively and went to see whether they have finished their food fight or not.
Geet was informed that Adi is accompanying her and she was very angry she wanted to talk to Maan. She thought he would not leave her alone at this hour of night.
Yes he didn't leave her alone but why Adi, why not himself?
She went to his cabin and closed the door with a bang sound, and stood there with her hands crossed against her chest and watching him with ferocious eyes.
He was surprised to see this side of her, Sherni side. He stood there with his one eyebrow up like asking what?
