The first thing that struck me is the "sacrifice" that Maan might had made when he wanted to be with Geet and she chose Vicky.

I love these bigger than life characters such as Maan b/c if I were in his place, I would had Vicky outta the picture long b4 and proposed to Geet. That's what I enjoy about your stories, somewhere the characters have certain principles which are unshakable.
