"Maan..."karan's voice stopped him...Maan wanted to hug his best friend tight and ask for sorry but his guilt is not allowing him to do so...

Maan silently came n sat on bed beside karan..both didnt say anything n was silent.."how are you?"Maan asked but he sounded very low..

What an irony!two best friends who never hesitated to share every small matter is stammering with words n is not able to say anything..sometimes distance brings many changes..if it can increase love between two people it can also increase distance between two people...

Maan is neither able to say a word nor able to look in to his eyes..today his tears told everything which slipped from his eyes..

karan knew what's going in him n even geet too..both shared a smile and geet signalled him to look at Maan who dipped his head low n is looking like a kid while wiping his tears with the back of his hand...

He wiped Maan's tears n made him look at him..Maan held his hand again looking down.."iam sorry yar so sorry...i was wrong..i dont know why n how i told all rubbish to u..iam sorry"he said pouting like a baby..

"Ab sorry sorry karthe rahoge ya gale bhi lagoge?"karan said with open arms welcoming him for a hug..Maan almost jumped in to his arms hugging karan tight..

Geet smiled in tears to see them together finally.. "Iam sorry Maan..even i would had not slapped you iam sorry.."karan said for which Maan nodded in no... no karan i was wrong ..I'm sorry..

no iam sorry maan Both went in to their sorry session till they were interupted by geet..bas!

Geet:U know what u both are so mean..u fought with each other n nw apologising among urselves..in all these u forgot me..geet who also settled beside karan on other side said pouting.."tum dono fight kiye the aur dono mujse baat nahi ki..pata hai mein ne tum dono ko kitna miss kiya? Her eyes turned teary n Maan karan glanced at each other sadly.."aur ab tum dono muje hug bhi nahi di bas apni hi padi hai muje bhool gaye "she said wiping her tears with back of her hand..

Maan and karan smiled at their friend who is not less than a kid..both welcomed her for a hug while holding their ear asking sorry with another hand..geet smiled but at the same time crying.. She ran in to their hug hastily and started beating both with her tiny fists..

Geet:"u both r very bad..bad matlab very very very bad..i hate you guys..kitna rulaya muje.."she complained cutely n sat making grumpy face..

Maan and karan held their ears as if asking sorry.."aisa nahi sorry bolo aur ha 1000 Times"geet demanded..

Maan: teek hai 1000 Times sorry..

Karan: aur mein bhi sorry.geet smiled and hugged them..

Maan:karan ye sab kese huwa? He asked eyeing at his bandages..

Karan n geet exchanged a look as what to answer him..

"wo Maan karan met with an accident"geet answered instead of karan..

Maan: I can see that and iam asking how it happened?he noticed both of them who gave each other question look..

Suddenly karan started coughing..and Maan ran to bring water as there was no water in the room.

Karan: geet iam not liking it..I dont want to hide anything from Maan..

Geet: please karan you know Maan's anger..if he comes to know that harika's cousin hurted you he wont leave him..kuch bhi kar detha hai gusse mein..

Karan: hmmm I know..pata nai harika kese hogi..muje bachane ke liye harike us idiot ke saath chali gayi..i cant even protect her..he closed his eyes in pain letting the tearing to slip down..

Geet: karan please..you dont worry.. harika ko kuch nahi hoga n she Will be back..mein ne commissioner uncle se baat karli hai..he is trying to trace that guy...

"Matlab abhi tak meri bacchi ka pata nai chala.."a choked voice came from the door n they found harika's mama at entrance...

"Pata nai wo kese hogi.."she cried in geet's embrace who held her tight..

"Wo bilkul teek hai aunty.."three of them were shocked to find Maan entering the room..at the same time confused at Maan's statement..

"Ha aunty harika bilkul teek hai"Maan said wiping her tears..

"Maan beta use toh..." she asked reluctantly as she dont know whether she can tell maan about it..

"She is safe and fine aunty"he said smiling at karan and Geet who is totally confused now..

"Yakeen nahi hai?wait for few mins"and he went out leaving them all confused. After 5 minutes Maan came back with harika who looked pale n weak..she walked inside taking Maan's support... Karan,geet and harika's mom were equally shocked but happy to see her safe... Harika hugged her mom n cried.."harika u fine?"geet asked concerned..

Harika: ha geet iam fine just because of Maan..they were shifting me to some other place...

"I was on way to hospital after Adi's call..i saw harika who was trying to call me through window..I caught that vehicle and they r behind bars now..she was unconscious so i left her in another ward"Maan completed..

Harika hugged karan crying badly..Maan stood smiling at them.. geet smiled at Maan who smiled back..soon all their friends arrived there to meet karan and they got busy in their talks.. Maan just stood silently Away from everyone..he smiled faintly at them n walked out of the room..

Adi who just came there smiled at Maan.."maan kaam hogaya ab wo banda jail se kabhi bahar nahi ayega"

Maan:aur aane bhi nahi dunga..he dared to hurt msk's friends..he'll repent for his whole life and will beg for death but it wont embrace him soon..he said with rage filled eyes..Maan would never leave if it comes to his friends and that guy hurt his best friend karan who is not less than his life...

Maan...a shocked yet worried voice of Geet made him turned to her.. She came running to him n held his elbow which is bleeding...

"Maan what's this? Ye kya hogaya hai tumhe?"she almost was in verge to cry..

Maan: geet it's nothing..bas thora sa lag gaya hai..

Geet: thoda sa? She glared at him.."aadi please bring first aid kit for me "

Maan: geet it's nothing yar..tum bekar mein pareshan ho rahi ho...

Chup bilkul chup!geet ordered him to sit n took first aid box from adi..he smiled and went to meet karan...

Geet took cotton dipping in dettol n tried to clean when Maan hissed... She blew air on it.."is it paining a lot?"geet asked worriedly still blowing air on his wound...

But for Maan it's not the external wound which is troubling him but the pain his heart is holding for loosing her... He was gazing at her worried face..it's not that he is not aware of Geet's concern for him but the thought of Geet becoming someone else's killing him..

He Will miss the one who takes care of his every need..

He Will loose the one who understand him..

He Will loose HIS GEET who is everything to him..

He Will loose his best friend,his guide his everything..

He Will loose his Geet who has become his life now...

"Ha it's paining a lot"he said lost in his trance..geet who caught the depth of his words looked at him... Both averted their gaze from each other as if wanting to hide their emotions and is scared of losing themselves in front of other...

They were best friends who never hesitated to talk on anything and today they stood silent as if they were meeting for the first time..it may be because they didnt only remain best friends now But more than that..they were supressing the pain of losing each other..they were trying to hide their feelings for each other..

"Tum kush ho na geet.."Maan finally broke the silence..

huh? Geet looked at him questioningly..

"I mean you are gonna get engaged..you are happy na?"he some where was expecting no when he know she was happy with her mama's decision...

She couldnt say anything but gave him faint smile which she forced...suddenly she rememebered maan's words..

"Geet i know you u may laugh at me or u may be angry on me after listening to me but i cant stop myself from saying this to you.."

"Maan you were saying something in the morning.u didnt tell me i mean u didnt complete what u were saying ..geet asked with a hope...her one look made him weak n he hugged her tight hiding his tears..
