IN mrng wen Geet waked up nd found hr side empty,she get up nd moved frm d bed nd saw him laying on ground,wid hs legs folded. He felt uncomfrtble nd shivered too. Geet slow down d Ac frst,den put hr duvet on him.


Geet:Maan neeche kyu so rhe hai?kahi meri wjah se to nai?


She wanna askd him but as she scared of ask nythng 4m hm,her raised hand stops nd she moved bak. Annie knok on d door. She opn d door nd went wid her as she needs her help, aftr she left Maan too awaked dn found duveton him. Unknowingly a smile cm on hs m shaped lips. He getup nd seek 4 hr. He dont found hr as she was not in room. So he tuk hs clothes nd wnt 2 fresh n up. He sneezed badly,coz last night he catch cold. He cm out of d washrum aftr sm time,and at d same time Geet too cm bak. Maan was in his jeans nd black vest. He still sneezing nd catch her attention. Sudddnly,while crossing by hs side Geet noticed her nail scratch on hs shouldr,whch occurd last dy wen she hold hs shoulders tightly 2 save hrslf frm fallng. marks r still red nd she cant bear it. Geet opns d drawr nd bring ointment 4 hm. Maan is busy in combng hs hairs. Geet hv sm fear of hs swinging attitude,bt collect sm courage. She passd onintmnt 2 hm. Maan gt cnfusd.


Maan:tume chot lagi hai?(geet nodded no)to firr?

Geet pointed hr finger 2 d scratch marks:actuly u got scratches coz of me last day.pls ap dwai lga leejiye.


Maan ignored:oh dats was absoloutly f9.no need 2 worry abot dat.

He cant denied dis sweet plead,so he tuk ointment frm hr.bt it is nt easy 2 place d ointment at rite place coz it was on hs bak nd hs hand nt reached properly. Geet sw him strugglng. She wnna help hm so asked wid gr8 hesitation.

Maan saw her clulessly nd paasd tube 2 her. Geet rubbed d ointment on d marks gently. Feeling her soft finger a current ran through his spine. Aftr rubbng she blew on dem. His nerves gt harder. He closed his eyes.


Maan(thot):as much i tries 2 stay away,things trun more worst. Itna b paas mat aao Geet.(he cnt resist nd burst on hr) Enough,i dnt need ur help.


He tuk his shirt nd wear fastly. He movd 4m d room without looking her at once. Geet blamed herself 4 all dis.


Geet:meri wajah se hi Maan tkleef me hai. He dosnt lyk my presence. Now i'll make sure ki main unke samne zada na aao.At b.fst table Geet tryng nt 2 cm dere. She knew dat Arpita & Maan nt felt cm4tble wid hrpresence. Samarth calld hr bt she made an excuse. Maan still sneezing.


Dadi:wat happnd beta?u r nt lukng well.


Maan:aachhhiii ...dont worry dadima i m f9.


Annie:abi to bhai medi.b nai le payenge unhe allergy jo hai.ab pura din aise hi jayega.Geet hear all dis,coz she is standing behind d pillar. She felt guilty more nd straight went 2 kitchen nd made kada 4 hm. She askd Nakul 2gv it 2 Maan. Maan ws in hs room. Nakul cm dere nd gave a mug 2 hm.


Maan:what is dis?


Nakul:sir ye KADA hai.ise peene se apko aram milega.


Maan:mujhe nai peena ye and who told u 2 make dis 4 me?


Nakul:sir ise maine nai Geet madam ne banaya hai apke liye.


Maan thot of taking it,but de he denied nd return hm widout drinking and wnt 2 office. Geet blames herself 4 his condition. Whole day he suffers alot,his nose trn red. His condition made her restless coz she dont saw any 1 suffers bcoz of her.


Geet:unki ye halat meri wajah se hui hai.na wo neeche sote or na ye sab hota. Agar main unki life me na aai hoti to ye sb hota hi nai. Par ab main kya karu?


She thought alot. After comng home Geet tried her level best not cm in front of him. So she avoid all the concequence of facing him. Maan egerly wait 4 her,coz he wants her 2 sleep first so he slept on floor again. But Geet had some other plans in her mind. After waiting 4 a very long time he went 2 sleep and when he was in his deep sleep Geet entered in their room with hot oil. She gently placed oil and gave hot oil massaged to him for next half an hour. When she done,she tuk her pillow and slept on floor. Maan slept comfortably and wen he awaked nxt mrng,felt vry fresh nd gud. His sneezng prob.finshed. He found hs feet sticky. He touched dem nd found oil on dem.


Maan:ye foot massage..?zarur Geet ne ki hogi pr wo hai kaha?


He realized he was on a bed nd she was nt dere. He gt up in hr search. Geet was sleeping on floor nd cursed hmself. He touched her. Her whole body turnd cold. He immediately scooped her in his arms and placed her gently on bed...

MAAN covrd her first as her body turned cold cmpletly. Maan rubbed her hands 2 make her warm. He cursed himslf 4 giving her pain agian.


Maan:y Geet y do dis 4 a persn like me.i only wants 2 stay away frm u .


Geet was still in her deep sleep nd dont reacts. He scared mor luking her in dat state. His eyes trun wet again wid fear of loosing her and guilt of giving her pain. He pullled hr up nd filled her in hs embrace. He rubbed her back nd hold her tightly 2 gav hs warmth 2 her cold body.


Maan:it was all my mistake and u punish urself.pls Geet wake up.


He hugged her tightly for few secnds. His body's warmness made her cmfrtable. She opned her slowly2 nd found herself in his warm embrace.


Maan:Geet pls wake up(he conti rubbed her back 2made hr comfortable)i m sorry Geet.pls wake up.

Geet hear his sorry plead nd felt his restlessness.Geet:Maan pls aap shant ho jaiye,baby theek hai.


Hear her sweet voice he felt pleasured and get sm strength again, bt her words wrenched hs heart. He hit d reality, of his behaviour 2wrds Geet which made hr thot dat she dont hav ny value in his eyes,and he cares 4 baby only. Maan loosn d hug nd saw her angelic nd innocent face. She luk at hm wid hr dizzy eyes,bt in dat conditon,she too able 2 sence his restlessness nd hs wet eyes. Maan cuppd hr face. He 4gt d truth of deir relationship dis momnt.


Maan:pls Geet i cnt tell u how much i scared seeing u like in dis state.pls dont do dis again.frm now u r nt going 2 slept on flor.promise me.


Geet cnt get hs behaviour nd felt strange:bt u dont like my presence.isi wjah se ap neeche soye or pura dinn pareshan rahe.


Maan:Geet its nt bcoz of u?i jst want u both slept cmfortably.


Geet is so naive nd believe hs words without any doubt.


Geet:par main or baby cmfrtable hai. Dis bed is bis enough dat we can share it easily.


Maan grinned on her innocent attitute and thot:o man y she is so naive? She trust my words so easily.or main ispe shak kar raha tha.


Geet:so first u promise me u r nt going 2 slepton floor again.


Maan chuckled nd nodded yes. He caressed hr cheek nd kissed on hr 4head in hs intoxination,dosnt bother wat she thot and get up frm dere.


Maan:2dy stay at home.ok.


She nodded yes nd he went frm dere.he kissed hr nd cried 4 her,whch is nt digestable 4 her.bt she dsnt bothr so much as she knew he is wiered.


Geet:main na inko kabi samjh hi nai paungi. Pregnant main hu or mood swings inko hote rehte hai.


Maan left 4 office,bt his heart missed her presence around hm.


Maan:jb pass hoti hai to pareshan krti hai,or jab nai hoti hai tab or zada pareshan karti hai.


Meanwhile hs dad call hm. Maan ans. Samarth askd hm 4 sm proj file nd orderd hm 2 cmplete dat 1 and bring wid hm in evng. Maan follos hs ordr. In evng he brot dat file wid hm.Aftr freeng frm all he placed d file in hs dad's study room nd came bak to hs room. Geet ws managing deir bed. At d same tim Annie cam inside.


Annie:Good dat u r still awaked.


Geet enquired:u need any help Annie?


Annie:yes.


Geet:ha to bolo na.(Annie pass 1 bag 2 hr)wats in dis Annie?

Geet:bt i hav many.


Annie:ya i kno.ab ap to apna dhyan rakhte nai ho or jisko rakhna chaiye(she luk at Maan) use to koi prwah hi nai hai.so kisi ko to sochna padega na. Apke sare night suits is cndition me unfit ho rae hai. Bhabhi u need 2 change ur wardrobe. So u nd baby felt cmfrtable.( Maan realize his negligence 2wrds Geet) anyways ap ye rakho kal main apko shoppng pe leke jaungi.


Maan intrupts:no she is nt cming wid u 2morrow.

Maan:coz we hav an imp.meeting in office 2morrow.


Annie:ok i ll pick up hr in evng.gd nyt guys.


She lft d room. Geet enquired about d meeting as she is nt aware of any meeting.but Maan twist her again. Both went 2 sleep. Maan slept at d conrner of d bed 2 mantain d distance. Dadi enquired.


Dadi:so Annie wat do u think ye plan kam krega?


Annie wid a proud smile:definately dadi.bet laga lo kal bhai pakka bhabhi ko shoppng pe leke jayenge.


Both winked nd gave hi fi 2 each othr. Next day in mrng Samarth calld hm. Maan went 2 hs dad.


Maan:Dad u calld me?


Samarth:Maan kl maine 1 file magwai thi?where is dat 1?


Maan:dad that was in ur hands now.

Maan:ofcourse dad.maine khud kal ye file cmplete ki hai or sham ko apne sath laya hu.


Samarth:ok den luk at once again.(Maan tuk d file nd watch cluelssly)cmmon son open it. (he opnd d file nd his eyes popped out seeing all d papers. All d papers r filled wid name of Geet. Maan wrote her name evrywhere) now dont said dat dis is not ur hand writing.Maan felt embarassed. He had no words 2 explain all dis. Maan babbles.

Maan:dad wo...ye...woo.

Samarth:its ok son. Hota hai. Jab pyar ka bhukhar chadta hai tab aise hi hota hai...


Maan look his dad confusly...
